The next day.
"Come in" said Wura as she heard a knock on the door to Liam's office.
"My Queen, sorry to bother you, but there is someone who says that he is here to see you" said a maid as she walked into Liam's office and she bowed her head as Wura looked up at her.
"Who is it?" asked Wura.
"It is a man my Queen, I did not have the chance to ask for his name" said the maid.
"Alright then, let him come in" said Wura.
"Yes my Queen" said the maid as she bowed and she walked out of Liam's office as Wura went back to reading what she was reading as another knock on the door came.
"Come in" said Wura as the door opened.
"Greetings my Queen" said Elder Foden with a smile as he walked into Wura's office and Wura looked up at him.
"Ahh greetings Elder Foden" said Wura with a smile as she could not lie that she was surprised to see him here, again, but she was sure that after what she had said the last time, he would not be here to trouble her again.
"Do you come in peace or in trouble?" asked Wura as Elder Foden laughed.
"I come in peace my Queen" replied Elder Foden.
"Then in that case, you may sit down" said Wura with a smile.
"Thank you my Queen" said Elder Foden with a smile as he sat down across Wura.
Wura was sure that after what she told him and his cohorts, he would not dare try running his mouth against her again.
"So what can I do for you Elder Foden, I did not expect you today… or at all" said Wura with a smile as she kept that last part to herself.
"Well my Queen, it came to my attention that I needed to draw something very important to your attention" said Elder Foden as Wura wondered what it was this time, it would seem that Elder Foden had decided to disrupt her peace every two days or so, but she was the Queen, she could not refuse to see him, just in case what he had to say was something very important.
"And what exactly would that be Elder Foden?" asked Wura with a smile.
"But first my Queen before I tell you what that is, I want to firstly apologize for what happened before, the things that we said to you were not supposed to be said, we realize now that we were wrong, so please on behalf of everyone that was present that day, I ask for your forgiveness" said Elder Foden with a smile.
"Who am I to hold my forgiveness from you all? I forgive you all, as long as you know what you did wrong and you accepted it" said Wura with a smile.
"Thank you for your generosity my Queen" said Elder Foden.
"Now to the matter that brought me here" said Elder Foden.
"Yes I am curious as to what brough you here Elder Foden" said Wura.
"Well my Queen, I am not sure if you are aware, but before his Majesty left, there were some rumours of wars from the north, and how some people gathered together to try to overthrow the Kingdom" said Elder Foden.
"Oh my, well I was not aware of that Elder Foden, not at all" replied Wura.
"Well my Queen it did happen, and right until recently it was a serious problem in the Kingdom until…" said Elder Foden.
"Until what?" asked Wura.
"Until all those involved in the betrayal were caught, which happened just recently" said Elder Foden.
"Alright" said Wura.
"Yes my Queen, I came here to ask for you permission to arrest all those who were involved so they may face the full wrath of the law" said Elder Foden.
"Well Elder Foden, you are allowed to do anything that you need to do, I give you my full permission to do what you deem fit to all those who were involved" said Wura.
"Are you sure about that my Queen?" asked Elder Foden with a smile.
"Yes, of course I am sure of what I am saying" said Wura.
"I only ask my Queen because I do not want you coming back in the future to tell me to stop what you have authorized me to do, after all, you do seem to be very involved" said Elder Foden.
"Quite frankly Elder Foden, I do not know what you mean by that, but I surely do not have time to oversee what you will do, so I give you my authorization to do what is best" said Wura.
"Alright my Queen, I just do not want you to regret anything" said Elder Foden as Wura narrowed her eyes at him, she wondered what exactly he meant by all of his words.
"I do not regret anything Elder Foden, go ahead, like I said, I give you my permission, I do not think that this should continue any further" said Wura.
"Alright my Queen, thank you, I will take my leave now" said Elder Foden as he smiled and he stood up.
"Alright" said Wura.
"Do have a good day my Queen" said Elder Foden with a smile.
"And you too Elder" replied Wura as Elder Foden walked out of the office as Wura was left to her thoughts, she wondered why Elder Foden was saying such odd things, it made no sense to her at all.
"Well that is his problem, I have nothing to worry about, I already have so much on my plate" said Wura to herself as she sighed and she shook her head.
Wura sighed as she opened the drawer of Liam's desk and she found what looked like a pile of letters all stacked together.
Out of curiosity Wura picked out one of the letters and she opened it as she read it and narrowed her eyes as she could not believe what she was reading.
"A letter from Liam… to my father?" asked Wura to herself as this made no sense from her.
Wura was confused to say the least, he did not know why Liam would send her father letters and worst of all he never mentioned this to her, and neither did her father.
"What were you up to Liam?" asked Wura to herself.
…
"What is going on in here? Aunt what Is wrong?" asked Wura as she walked into the room only to be welcomed to the sight of Tessa crying bitterly while her mother tried to console her and calm her down.
"Oh Wura, it is horrible, so horrible" said Tessa as she walked to Wura while crying as she hugged Wura and Wura looked at her mother for answers.
"Aunt, what is wrong? What happened? Why are you crying?" asked Wura as she looked at Tessa.
"Wura you cannot imagine what happened, some guards came here saying some nonsense and then they took Richard away, they took him away" said Tessa as she cried even more.
"What? Away to where?" asked Wura in shock.
"To the dungeons, they went to lock him up in there, but Richard is no criminal, my Richie is no criminal" said Tessa as she cried and Wura could not believe this.
"Oh what basis did they take him?" asked Wura.
"I do not know I do not know, but whatever they are charging him for, he did not do it" said Tessa as she cried.
"Mother, what did they say they were arresting him for?" asked Wura as she knew that Tessa was not in the right frame of mind to tell her what she needed to know.
"They said that he was charged for treason against his Majesty and for being involved in a scheme to overthrow the King" said Ireti.
"Impossible, Uncle Richard would never do that" said Wura.
"I know my dear, he would not" said Tessa as she cried.
"Your father went with your uncle and the guards to the dungeon" said Ireti.
"I am going there now, Aunt please try to calm down, I will sort out everything I promise you, this is not right, there is some sort of misunderstanding here" said Wura as Tessa nodded while still crying.
"Take it easy Aunt, everything will be alright, okay Aunt?" asked Wura as Tessa nodded.
"Mother please take care of her, let me go and sort this out" said Wura as Ireti nodded as Tessa hugged her and Wura quickly rushed out of the room, she had to get to the bottom of this, there was some sort of misunderstanding somewhere, her uncle could not be part of all the charges that were brought up against him.
He did nothing wrong and Wura was sure of that, she knew her uncle well, and to be a criminal, that was not something that he could do, she would make sure to deal with anyone who did this and brought up false allegations against her own uncle.
