"Richie would you be the wonderful darling you have always been and get me a blanket for Lily?" asked Tessa with a smile as Richard walked into the room and he had a blanket in his hand as he covered Tessa with it as she carried Lily.
"Oh you already knew that I would ask you" said Tessa as she laughed and Richard gave her a kiss on the cheek and he gave his awake daughter a kiss on the forehead as she made cute little baby noises and he sat down on the armchair.
"Is my little cousin awake?" asked Wura with a smile as she walked into the room.
"Oh yes dear, she is" said Tessa with a smile as she handed Lily over to Wura who was overjoyed to carry her.
"Oh you are finally awake dear cousin of mine, how was your rest?" asked Wura with a smile as the baby Lily just looked at her.
"Oh I finally have some time to rest" said Tessa as she laughed and Wura laughed.
"Aunt are you really that tired?" asked Wura as she sat down beside Tessa.
"My dear, I am exhausted, carrying her inside me was one thing, but taking care of her every need Is another, although my precious child Is so well behaved, when she Is not hungry that is" said Tessa as she laughed and Wura laughed as well.
"But your mother my dear Reti has been helping me with her, and my dear Richie as well" said Tessa.
"I cannot imagine Uncle being so lovey dovey with her" said Wura as she looked at Richard who said nothing.
"Oh he is my dear, when he is alone with her, only heaven knows what he does to make her crying, in fact, he is the one who spends more time with her because I sleep so deeply, and he rocks her to sleep, your uncle is so tender with her, he Is the happiest mood to be a father" said Tessa as she laughed.
"Is that not true Richie?" asked Tessa as she looked at Richard who replied with a grunt.
"Oh Uncle, you can never change can you?" asked Wura as she laughed.
"Well I am sure my dear cousin will be able to brighten up your face once she starts walking and running around and calling you father" said Wura as she laughed.
"I cannot wait for that day my dear, and I am sure that he cannot too" said Tessa as she laughed and Wura laughed as well.
"Oh I ama going to rest, I am so tired" replied Tessa as she got up.
"Will you not stay for dinner Aunt?" asked Wura with a smile.
"Oh no dear, I am exhausted, I need to rest, but I will see you later, and you too my lovely girl" said Tessa as she bent down and gave baby Lily a kiss on the forehead as Wura smiled and she walked away.
"Dear cousin of mine, I cannot wait until you start walking, I am going to teach you everything I know" said Wura as she smiled.
"You should know that you have the sweetest cousin ever, the most lovely Aunt and Uncle, the most caring mother, and the most wonderful father in the world" said Wura with a smile as what she said caused Richard to smile.
…
"Today was such a wonderful day for me" said Wura as she smiled and she climbed into bed as Nora tidied up her room.
"I love my little cousins, she is so sweet, Nora and her skin is so soft, and when she laughs, oh her laughs is like sweet music to my ears" said Wura as she laughed and Nora laughed.
"Nora you have to meet her" said Wura.
"I will my Queen" replied Nora with a smile as she was glad that Wura was happy, after all, initially her day today had started off horribly with that meeting that she had gone to, but her day had ended in happiness because of the arrival of her family.
Nora felt that with all that had happened Wura needed the support of her family, because she could see just how much Wura had been suffering.
"Nora, now I feel like having a baby, they are just so cute" said Wura as she laid her head on her pillow.
"Oh my Queen, be careful with what you say, babies are wonderful, but when they start to cry, it is another story entirely" said Nora as she laughed.
"I know Nora, I was just joking" said Wura as she laughed.
"Well I have to go now my Queen, please have a good night, and rest well" said Nora as she smiled.
"Alright Nora, I will thank you, and have a good night as well, and thank you for everything Nora" said Wura as she smiled as Nora smiled and she bowed as she left the candles on just in case Wura wanted to do some night reading.
Nora walked out of Wura's room as she gently closed the door behind her and Wura sighed as she laid on her bed, she closed her eyes and tried to go to sleep.
Wura opened her eyes as she tossed and turned in her bed, she just could not go to sleep no matter how hard she tried.
She was happy that her family were here, yes, she was, but her husband who was part of her family was not here, and it made her heart ache so much whenever she thought about him, she worried about him, hoping was one thing but living in the reality was something else entirely.
Wura sighed as she got out of bed, she was sure that she would not be able to sleep, not at all.
Wura walked to grab her coat as she wore it over her white nightgown as she opened the door to her room and walked down the empty, silent hall, she was sure that everyone was already fast asleep, but unfortunately it was not the case for her.
Wura wondered where she was going, she just needed to get out of her room for a change, she needed some fresh air to breathe and just clear her head and think.
…
Wura did not even realize when she had walked to the stables, but she was already here, and she could hear the sound of a horse neighing as she walked to its stall as she saw Nolan and she smiled as she took a torch off the wall.
"Oh boy, did you miss me?" asked Wura with a smile as Nolan looked at her and he neighed.
"Oh boy I missed you too, I am so sorry for not coming to see you earlier, there were just a lot of things that I had to do" said Wura with a smile as she patted Nolan and she ran her fingers through his mane with her free hand.
"You look so good boy" said Wura with a smile, there was something about knowing that this was Liam's horse that gave her confidence and some sort of comfort.
"Liam is not here, I had to leave him behind because it was for the best…" replied Wura.
"But he will be back soon, I know that he will, because he is Liam" said Wura with a sad smile.
"You miss Liam too, right boy?" asked Wura as Nolan neighed.
"I miss him too so much, I cannot even sleep without him" said Wura as she sighed and she laughed to herself, it was late, and here she was, sad and talking to a horse as if it could understand what she was saying.
Wura shivered when she felt the wind blow, it was getting colder and she knew that if Nora was aware that she came out at this time of the night she would be upset.
"I have to now boy, I will see you later, goodnight" said Wura with a smile as she hung the torch on the wall and she walked back the way she came.
As Wura walked through the castle walls, she knew that she did not want to go back to her room, she felt so lonely in there.
Wura walked aimlessly when she snapped out of her thoughts and she realized that she had idly walked all the way to Liam's room instead of her room.
Wura did not event think twice as she opened the door to his room and she walked in as it was dark, she made her way to the desk as she lit a candle and she looked around the room, it looked the same as the last time she was here.
Wura placed the candle on the desk as she walked to Liam's bed and she climbed on it, it smelt so much like him, his scent was lingering everywhere in this room and it was making her miss him even more.
"I miss you so much Liam, so very much" said Wura as she hugged one of his pillows and she closed her eyes and slept.
