"Here my Queen, you should rest here, Nora should be here soon" said Mero as Wura sat down on her bed and she smiled at him.
"Thank you Mero, really, thank you" said Wura as she smiled, if there was someone that had always been there for her when she needed him, it would be Mero, he put up with her at all times, and he always listened to her, she was so thankful to him.
"You do not need to thank me my Queen, please have some rest, and do not think about Liam, I know it is hard to do, but for now, do not" said Mero as ultimately he was worried about Wura, everything she had done up to this point was for Liam, and yet, she still could not have him with her.
He knew it was hard for her, and for that reason, he would prefer it if she removed Liam from her mind for now, after all, she was the Queen, they were back to Wyverdale and things were going to change.
"I know Mero… but I cannot stop thinking about him, I can never" said Wura as she smiled sadly.
"Rest well my Queen" said Mero as Wura nodded and he walked to the door as he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him as Wura sighed.
Mero sighed as he walked through the halls, he knew that going to the Yonder Realm would be a bad idea, and yet look at what happened, Wura was in more pain and suffering than before.
Nora was walking down the hall with a tray in her hands as she greeted Mero briefly and he called out to her to stop her.
"Nora" called Mero.
"Yes" said Nora as she stopped and she looked at Mero.
"Take care of her Majesty, well, she needs to calm down, maybe you should run her a hot bath" said Mero as he was just worried about Wura at this point, Liam was another problem entirely.
"Ahh yes… alright Sir Mero" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Sir Mero" called Nora.
"Yes Nora" said Mero.
"I… I overheard some maids in the kitchen, apparently his Majesty is here, but I know that is not true, he is back in you know where" said Nora as she whispered, she did not want to risk anyone accidentally hearing them.
"Does her majesty know about it?" asked Nora.
"Yes she does, and she already settled the fake Liam was an imposter" replied Mero.
"Oh my…" said Nora as when she was in the kitchen and she heard the maids talking about Liam, she suddenly felt very worried, because she surely knew that the Liam they were talking about was not the real Liam at all.
"You need to make her Majesty calm down Nora, she really needs it right now" said Mero.
"Yes Sir Mero, I will" said Nora as she nodded and Mero nodded as he walked away and Nora went on her way to Wura's room, she opened the door and she smiled sadly when she saw Wura sitting on her bed with her back turned behind her.
"My Queen, are you alright?" asked Nora as she set the tray with the teacups on the table as she walked to Wura's side and she bent down beside her as Wura opened her eyes, she had not been sleeping, only thinking about everything that had happened.
"I am fine Nora" said Wura, although she was lying, but she did not want to make Nora worry about her.
"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she did not insist on the truth, she knew that Wura was going through a hard time right now.
"My Queen, I brought you some tea to help you calm down" said Nora as she smiled.
"I am not hungry Nora, I do not want to drink tea" said Wura as Nora sighed.
"It will help you relax my Queen, I urge you to have some, you do not look so good right now" said Nora as Wura sighed.
"Fine Nora, only a bit of tea" said Wura as Nora smiled and she walked to the table and she poured Wura a cup of hot tea as she handed it to Wura and she smiled as Wura drank it.
"My Queen, I am going to make you a hot bath to calm down your nerves, alright?" asked Nora as she smiled.
"Okay Nora" replied Wura with a sighed as Nora smiled.
…
"My Queen, your bath is ready" said Nora as she smiled.
"Alright Nora" said Wura as Nora snapped her out of her thoughts.
"Yes my Queen, would you like me to help you with anything?" asked Nora as she smiled, she was trying her best to cheer Wura up, but she knew that she had valid reasons to be as sad as she was right now.
"No Nora, I would like to be alone now, thank you" said Wura.
"Yes my Queen" said Nora as she nodded her head, she understood that Wura needed to be alone, but she would be right here for her when she needed her.
…
Wura sighed as she laid in the bath full of hot water, it felt so nice, calming even, but nothing was calm with her on the inside, it just was not fair, not fair at all.
Wura looked around, everything was so familiar, she was back home, she should have been happy, but she was far from happy.
She had returned back to Wyverdale alone, without Liam, she wondered about him, worried about him, she wondered if he woke up, if he remembered her, but she was sure that he remembered her, she was sure of it, something told her that he remembered her.
"Oh Liam…" said Wura to herself as she closed her eyes and she sighed.
"Why did this have to happen to us? We did nothing wrong; you did nothing wrong" said Wura to herself as she felt like crying.
Elvira's words kept on ringing in her ears, she and Liam suffered for something that was not their faults at all, and Liam was the one who was suffering most here, he was the one who had a curse placed on him without his knowledge.
Wura could not help but wonder if she could have done him some good by not marrying him, because indirectly, it was because she married that all these bad things were happening to him.
She realized now that she had been used, everything, she should have never gone out on the day the barrier broke, she should have listened to Liam and none of this would have happened, she felt so guilty, so guilty that she was the main cause of all Liam's problems.
"You would be fine without me" said Wura to herself as she sniffed, she hated this, she hated feeling this way so much.
…
"My Queen, you are done with your bath" said Nora with a smile as Wura walked out of the bathing room with her hair wrapped in a towel.
"My Queen, I chose something light for you, here" said Nora as she handed Wura a dress and Wura nodded as she walked back in the bathing room to put it on and she returned.
"My Queen, would you like me to do something with your hair?" asked Nora as Wura suddenly started crying.
"My Queen, what is wrong? What happened?" asked Nora in worry as Wura cried.
"Oh Nora, it is just so unfair, why does this have to happen to Liam? He did nothing wrong; he does not deserve this at all, he deserves to be happy, but he is not, because of me, and because of everyone else, I am just so tired, and guilty" said Wura as she cried and Nora hugged her.
"Oh my Queen, please do not say such, you do not need to feel guilty, you did nothing wrong" said Nora.
"No, you do not understand Nora, I did, I did something wrong, if only I had listened to him, fate would not have played such a dirty joke with the both of us, it is just… not fair" said Wura as she cried.
"My Queen, I cannot say that I know what you are passing through right now, but I do know that Liam would not want you to blame yourself, because even though I do not understand what is going on, you both were played" said Nora.
"Oh Nora" said Wura as she cried.
"Do you feel better now my Queen?" asked Nora as Wura nodded and she sniffed as she broke their hug.
"I just have to tell you everything because I… I still cannot believe it myself, everything that I was told, the gravely unfair choice I was left to make" said Wura as she sniffed.
"I will be here my Queen, and I will listen" said Nora as she smiled and Wura sat down on her bed as she urged Nora to sit down beside her and Nora did as she was told as she sat down beside Wura.
