"You care for your husband so much, it does warm my heart" said Elvira with a smile, she almost felt bad for what was going on right now.
"Look you woman, stop talking and answer me, what did you do to him!?" asked Wura in anger as she looked at Elvira.
"Be calm Queen Wura, no harm will come to him, he is just in a trance" said Elvira.
"A trance of what?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam who had a blank and pale expression on her face.
"Of the truth, I am Elvira my Queen, it is nice to finally meet you" said Elvira.
"Elvira, wake Liam up from the trance then, he does not look well, wake him up" said Wura as she looked at Elvira, she did not like what was going on at all, she did not know what to think, why her? Why she and Liam all the time.
"You are wondering why you have to go through all this suffering my Queen" said Elvira with a smile.
"If you can tell what I am thinking, then you should know that all I want you to do is make Liam normal again" said Wura as she looked at Elvira.
"But you do deserve an explanation for why this happened, why your husband fell in the crack and entered the Yonder Realm, why he forgot you, why all of this is happening to you and him" said Elvira as Wura did not know what to think right now.
"Then what do you want? Do you have an explanation for me or what?" asked Wura.
"I do" said Elvira with a smile.
"I do not care for any explanation, I only want Liam to go back to normal" said Wura.
"If you listen to why all this is happening, then Liam will return back tot normal" said Elvira.
"Do you promise me that?" asked Wura as she knew that by now, when she dealt with people like Elvira, she had to be specific and make sure to know what she was doing, or else, she would be tricked like with Elysia.
"I give you my word" said Elvira as she nodded.
"Then tell me, tell me why all this is happening" said Wura.
"It is simple my Queen, your husband if suffering the repercussions of his parents actions, more specifically his father's" said Elvira.
"What do you mean repercussions?" asked Wura as this made no sense to you.
"You see, in the young days of the late King Alaric, he was what we called a ladies man, he captured many hearts of many women" said Elvira.
"And he courted some of them, but there was one woman in particular that he courted for a long while, he promised to marry her, and the woman herself was naïve to think so" said Elvira.
"Well knowing the affairs of the heart and how feeble humans feelings are, Alaric fell in love with another woman, a beautiful, quiet woman, whom he chased after" said Elvira.
"He forgot all the sweet words and promises that he had told the first woman, he forgot that he had told her that she was the only one in his heart and there was no other" said Elvira.
"The first woman came to know of the betrayal, she found out about the wedding of Alaric and his new lover, It pained her deeply, so much so that she confronted him, to which he replied with apologies for he had seen the errors of his ways" said Elvira.
"But this is never enough is it? There will always be a consequence for every action, whether good or bad" said Elvira.
"The woman in all rage and anger, placed a curse on him on that day that he and his wife will forever be barren, they would have no children, and she added that even if they had a child, he would never find love, and even if he did, he and his lover would never find peace together" said Elvira as Wura was thinking.
"What are you saying Elvira? That everything happening to Liam and I is because of a curse?" asked Wura in confusion.
"Yes exactly like that my Queen, you really are intelligent" said Elvira with a smile.
"But this makes no sense at all, why should I believe you?" asked Wura.
"You can choose to believe me or not, but the truth remains" said Elvira.
"That is unfair, it is unfair for Liam to have to suffer because of a curse placed on his father, he has done nothing wrong, I have done nothing wrong, we do not have to suffer because of that curse" said Wura.
"That is what you would think my Queen, but curses are not easily broken, and Alaric offended a very dangerous woman, her words did not fall to the ground" said Elvira.
"Alaric never took it seriously, but the curse placed on him was working, for years, he and his wife were unable to have children, year by year past, and still no child, until finally Liam came along, but even then, from his first day on the earth, he has been filled with suffering, his mother passed away before she could even hold him in her arms" said Elvira.
"And still then, Alaric doubted the curse, Liam grew into the fine young man that he is, and it was about then that Alaric started to take the curse seriously, it urged him to make sure his son got married before he died, he thought that he could cheat fate, and yet, here we are" said Elvira with a smile.
"But this Is not fair, children do not have to suffer for the mistakes of their parents, and especially when their hands are clean" said Wura.
"So for Liam and I to have to suffer because of a curse that was not placed on us, but his father is unfair" said Wura in anger.
"Well sorry to say my Queen, but you are" said Elvira.
"So is that why this all is happening? Why Liam forgot me, why he cannot remember me? Because you, you want to keep us apart for something that we did not do?" asked Wura as she got up and she walked to Elvira, she could not believe this.
All this while, she had wondered who she had offended, what she had done to deserve this, but it turned out that she had done nothing, Liam had done nothing, they had both done nothing, nothing at all to deserve this.
"I can see that you are angry" said Elvira with a smile.
"Angry?? Angry?? Angry is not what I am, I am furious, can you imagine being worried sick about your husband because he sacrificed himself for you, can you imagine wondering where he is, if he is alright or not? Can you imagine looking everywhere for him, only to find him and not have him remember you?" asked Wura.
"Can you imagine being torn by your head and your heart?? And to think that all this happened because of a stupid curse that we know nothing about?" asked Wura with anger within her.
"If that is not maddening enough, then I do not know what is Elvira" said Wura.
"Have you no compassion? Have you no feelings to look and see how much pain, suffering and wickedness this has caused us?" asked Wura.
"I can do nothing about this my Queen, I am only a messenger, fate must be fulfilled" said Elvira.
"Fate my foot, there is no fate, no fate at all, it all matters on what we all decide to do and not do" said Wura.
"This is nothing but sheer wickedness" said Wura as she sighed.
"Alright Elvira, I have stood here, listening to what you have to say, now do your part and make Liam himself again" said Wura as in the same moment Wura dropped to the ground as he started to cough violently and Wura turned around and rushed to him in horror.
"Liam, Liam, what is wrong? Please wake up my love, wake up I beg you" said Wura as she was panicking and then suddenly Liam stopped coughing as he closed his eyes, it looked as if he had passed out.
"Liam, Liam , what happened? Please wake up, I beg you" said Wura.
"What happened to him??" asked Wura as she turned to look at Elvira who was just standing with a plain expression on her face, as if none of this affected her, which it did not.
"Nothing, he will be fine once he wakes up" said Elvira.
"And when will he wake up?" asked Wura as she looked at Elvira, she hated that she had to talk to this woman, but she seemed to be the only one with the answers to her questions right now.
"Soon, but you have to be gone when he does" said Elvira as Wura narrowed her eyes at her.
"And why is that?" asked Wura in nothing but irritation.
