"So where exactly are we going to meet up with Mero and the others?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam and he stopped the horse as he helped her down from the horse and she looked at him.
"According to the map, it is a town not too far from here" said Liam as he looked at the map and Wura looked up at the sky, it was starting to get dark.
"Well I think that we should get going then, it is starting to get dark" said Wura as it started to get cold and she was shivering a bit.
"No, I think that we should stay the night here, just in case someone is following us, and we can continue on in the morning" said Liam as he kept the map back where he got it from.
"Well okay then" said Wura as she agreed, it was true, but she did not even consider that anyone could be following them, after all, the entire day, she had not heard any more giants.
"You do not think that it is a good idea?" asked Liam as he looked at Wura.
"No, it Is fine, I just did not consider that someone could be following us, I have no heard any giants all day" said Wura.
"Well just to be safe" said Liam.
"Alright then" said Wura.
"Are you cold?" asked Liam as he noticed that Wura looked a bit uncomfortable.
"Ahh no, I am fine" said Wura as she smiled, she was fine.
"Alright" said Liam as he smiled at her.
"Are you hungry?" asked Liam as he walked to the horse.
"No, I am fine, I am not hungry" said Wura as eating was the last thing on her mind right now, what she wanted was to finally feel safe again, and finally see Mero and the rest, she missed them, and she would only really feel safe once they were all together again.
"And what about you?" are you hungry?" asked Wura.
"No, I am fine as well" said Liam as he looked at Liam and he smiled.
Liam looked around, he was sure that this would be a perfect place for them to spend the night, and he doubted that any giants would find them here, they were on open ground.
Liam brought out some blankets from a leather sack attached to the horse as he laid them on the ground, he petted the horse as he walked to a rock, and he tied the horse's reins on the rock as he smiled at the good boy.
Wura smiled as she watched Liam, it reminded her of how gentle Liam was whenever he was with Nolan, he loved him so much, and that made her love Nolan so much, Nolan was such a good boy.
"You really love horses do you not?" asked Wura as she smiled and Liam looked at her as he walked to lay the blanket properly on the ground.
"I do love them, they are wonderful beings, and what about you?" asked Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura.
"I love horses as well, I have one horse" said Wura as she smiled and she helped Liam set up the blankets.
"You do?" asked Liam in surprise.
"Well yes, actually I have two, Ayo and the other is Nolan" said Wura as she watched Liam's reaction closely when she mentioned Nolan's name, she was looking for some sort of recognition in his eyes.
"Well those sound like wonderful names" said Liam as he smiled.
"Yes…" said Wura as she sighed internally, he did not seem to remember Nolan's name at all.
"They are very good boys" said Wura as she smiled.
"So who taught you how to ride a horse?" asked Liam out of curiosity as he smiled.
"Ahh well, the best teacher in the world" said Wura as she smiled.
"He is the best, he was so patient with me, even though I knew that he was struggling with my rude behaviour, and still yet, when he needed to, he saved me" said Wura as she smiled.
"My husband is the best teacher I know" said Wura as she smiled and she looked at Liam.
"He must be a very worthy man" said Liam as he smiled.
"Oh he is… and I love him so much" said Wura as she smiled, she was looking at him right now, but she could not tell him that, she just felt so tired.
"Well I guess that we should go to sleep now" said Liam as he smiled.
"Yes" said Wura as she nodded and she laid down on the blanket as Liam did the same, but he put a reasonable gap of space between them as they both looked up at the sky.
"I wonder how Mero, Nora and the rest are doing?" asked Wura as she sighed.
"I am sure that they are doing alright" said Liam.
"I hope so" said Wura.
"You know, Nora was very worried about you" said Liam as Wura smiled.
"I knew that she would be, I miss her as well, I cannot wait to see her" said Wura as she smiled and Liam smiled and there was silence.
"Do you sometimes look up into the sky, and wonder if your lover is looking up at the same sky?" asked Liam as Wura turned to look at him.
"I do…" said Wura as Liam looked at her, they were both looking at the same sky right now where they not?
"Sometimes, you wonder if it is really worth it to hold on, to keep on fighting" said Wura.
"But you realize that it is, the love you feel for your other will not allow you to stop fighting" said Liam as he looked at Wura.
"But fighting… hoping… it does nothing but cause you heartache" said Wura.
"It may cause you heartache, but you would break your own heart if you stopped fighting" said Liam as Wura sighed internally, he was right, so right, she did not want to give up on him, she did not want to stop hoping that someday somehow, he would remember her, and she would remember the love that he feels for her.
"You wonder if letting go, would be doing them good" said Wura.
"You wonder if you actually deserve their love, because it is your fault… your fault that they are the way that they are right now" said Wura.
"But giving up, would not be the best option, if you do give up, what love would you be fighting for?" asked Liam as Wura sighed.
"You are right" said Wura as she sighed.
"You miss your wife do you not?" asked Wura.
"I do, and you miss your husband as well, am I right?" asked Liam as he smiled and Wura nodded.
"I guess that we are alike in more ways than we think" said Liam.
"I guess so as well" said Wura as she smiled at Liam.
"Goodnight Liam" said Wura as she smiled.
"Goodnight Lily" said Liam as he smiled at her.
…
"We are no longer being followed" said Darla as she got down from her horse and Elihu did the same.
"Just to be safe, we cannot go to the town now, in case we are still being followed" said Elihu.
"Whatever you say" said Darla.
"I am sure that Malcom, Dothan and Zuph have already reached the town by now" said Darla.
"Oh don't tell me that you suddenly have a heart and you worry about them" said Elihu as he scoffed.
"Of course I worry about them, they are my brothers, the only family that I have, unlike you, you must be alone, that is why you care for no one but yourself" said Darla.
"Watch your mouth woman, I still remember that you spit on me, and I will hold that on you for as long as I am going to be stuck with you" said Elihu.
"What do you want to do? Hit me??! Well then do it, it would only prove that you are barbaric" said Darla as she scoffed.
"If there is anyone barbaric it is you!" said Elihu as he shouted back at her.
"You are one to speak!" said Elihu.
"I would hit you if you were a man" said Elihu.
"Be my guest" said Darla as she scoffed.
"*Ugh* you know what, sort yourself out, I am not going to do this" said Elihu as he scoffed and he walked away, he was not going to stay anywhere near her, she could obviously take care of herself, she was very annoying.
"If anything happens to me, it will be on you" said Darla as she shouted as Elihu walked far away from her.
"Oh no it will not, you are very vile to anything that dares try to harm you" said Elihu as Darla scoffed, she was so tired of all of this she did not deserve this at all, this was all Lily's fault, if only she had never showed up at all.
