Chapter 261 - Not just any woman

"Oh that is wonderful news my dear" said Nigel as he could not help but smile, he just felt so relieved, he was so grateful that his nephew was not dead at all, it made him relieved.

"Yes Uncle it is" said Wura as she could not help but smile as well, she knew that Nigel would react like this, and it made her happy to know that he was happy.

"So where is he?" asked Nigel.

"Well Uncle, the diviner, whose name is Elysia, she told me that Liam was safe and healthy, and that he was well, only that he was lost and that is why he cannot come back home" said Wura as she explained.

"Oh thank the heavens" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Yes Uncle" said Wura as she smiled.

"Where is he then? So we can find him" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Well the thing is uncle…" said Wura as she took a pause.

"Elysia told me that he is in the Yonder Realm…" said Wura as she paused.

"The Yonder Realm?" asked Nigel in confusion.

"Yes Uncle" said Wura as she knew that she had that exact same reaction when she heard that.

"How did he get all the way there?" asked Nigel.

"From what I know, it is impossible to move between realms" said Nigel.

"I know that Uncle, but Elysia told me that he fell through a portal when the barrier broke, and that was why he moved through the Realm" said Wura as she explained, she herself still could not believe it, it sounded like some sort of dream, or a make believe story.

"Oh my" said Nigel as now he started to feel worse, just how were they supposed to find Liam when he was in another Realm, and a dangerous one at that.

"Please calm down Uncle" said Wura.

"But how are we supposed to find him if he is in the Yonder Realm?" asked Nigel in worry.

"Uncle, Elysia told me that there is a gate to the Yonder Realm in the Waterfalls, even though I do not know where that is, but Mero says that he knows, right Mero?" asked Wura as she looked at Mero.

"Yes my Queen" replied Mero as he nodded his head.

"But this does not look promising at all, what makes us so sure that we will be able to find him?" asked Nigel.

"Well Elysia gave me a map, she said that once I reached the Yonder Realm, it would lead me straight to Liam" said Wura.

"Are you sure about that my dear" said Nigel.

"Well yes Uncle, I believe what Elysia said" said Wura.

"And the map, what does it look like?" asked Nigel.

"Well when I opened it to check, it was blank, but I believe that just as Elysia said, it will lead us to Liam" said Wura as Nigel did not seem to like the idea at all, it was still uncertain.

"Uncle I know it is hard to believe, but everything I have seen and heard, and I want to take a chance Uncle, what if this is the only way that we can find Liam, bit because of our unbelief, we do not take a chance, then what?" asked Wura as Nigel kept quiet, he knew that she was right.

"Uncle, all I want is to find Liam" said Wura.

"And so do I my dear, so do I" said Nigel as he sighed.

"Alright my dear, I believe all you have said" said Nigel as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.

"Thank you uncle" said Wura as she smiled.

"So what is the next course of action?" asked Nigel as he looked at Mero.

"Well Royal Duke, the next course of action is to be on our way to find Liam" said Mero.

"We have discussed among ourselves and we will leave to the Yonder Realm as soon as possible" said Mero.

"And when will that be?" asked Nigel.

"Tomorrow latest, we just have to gather what we need to be prepared" said Mero.

"Wait a moment" said Wura as Nigel and Mero and everyone else turned to look at her.

"When did you make all these plans?" asked Wura.

"Last night my Queen, we have already decided that we will go and look for Liam in the Yonder Realm" said Mero as he replied.

"Well I am going along with you" said Wura as Mero narrowed his eyes at her as Nigel and everyone else were surprised by what she said.

"My Queen?" asked Mero.

"You heard me right, I am going with you" said Wura.

"My Queen, you cannot possibly go along with us, we do not know what dangers lie in the Yonder Realm, if we will be able to get there or not, it is to dangerous for you to com with us, it is better that you stay here" said Mero.

"Well no, I am not staying here, I am going, how do you expect me to stay put while you all are out there looking for Liam while I do nothing? It is not fair, he is my husband, I have every right to go looking for him as you all do" said Wura.

"My Queen, this is no play, this is a serious matter" said Mero.

"Who says that I do not know that it is a serious matter? I know that it is, which is why I insist on going" said Wura as she looked at Mero.

"My Queen, this is serious, the Yonder Realm is unfamiliar territory, it is dangerous, and it is no place for a woman" said Mero as he knew that he sounded rude right now, but he needed to let Wura know that this was a very important matter, and everything was uncertain it was dangerous.

"Excuse me" said Wura as she stood up and she looked at Mero.

"My dear, please take a pause" said Nigel as he could see that this was taking a turn for the worse.

"No Uncle, wait, please stay out of this" said Wura as she kept eye contact with Mero.

"What did you say Mero? If you dare repeat it again" said Wura.

"I am sorry to say your Majesty, but I stand my ground, where we are going, is no place for a woman" said Mero as he repeated it again, he and Wura had been disagreeing a lot as of late, and he was just tired, he was to protect her, but she was making it so hard for him to do so.

"Might I remind you that I am just not any woman" said Wura as she felt so offended right now by his words, what did her being a woman have to do with the matter on ground? She had expected more from him, not to be like those other men who looked down on women just because they were woman.

"I am Liam's wife, the Queen" said Wura as she felt like she needed to use her authority in this moment, maybe Mero had forgotten who he was speaking to.

"I am the Queen, and I have the same power Liam does, which is why, you will do nothing without informing me first" said Wura as she took a pause.

"I want to be… no I will be involved in whatever concerns Liam, because if there is someone who deserves to know what concerns him, that is me" said Wura.

"So I do not want to hear nonsense about me being a woman, about danger, because quite frankly I do not care, because if you were in my shoes, you would behave the exact same way that I do" said Wura.

"You will make no moves until you discuss it with me, and I am coming along with you whether you like it or not, are we clear?" asked Wura as she felt so good to finally tell what was on her mind to Mero.

Elihu, Zuph, Luc and Zechariah all looked at Wura in surprise, no one had ever spoken to Mero that way, not even Liam himself, so for her to say such to Mero, they were all scared.

"Are we clear?" asked Wura once again as Mero did not reply.

"We are clear my Queen" said Mero as he did not say anything more.

"Good" said Wura.

"Now, we are going to leave tomorrow, we will go to the waterfalls, and then from there to the Yonder Realm" said Wura as her voice was very commanding with no room for refusal at all, Nigel was worried by the way things were going.

"Alright my Queen, as you say" said Mero as he was not going to argue with her, it was clear that she did not trust him.

"Wait my dear, I think that you are going too far with this" said Nigel as Wura turned to look at him and she sighed as she had forgotten about him, she had been so angry with Mero that she forgot that Nigel was still here, and he would not support her going along with them.

"Everyone, can you please leave us" said Wura.

"Yes my Queen" said Zechariah as he walked out and the others followed after him as Nora closed the door behind her and Wura turned to look at Nigel.

"Look my dear, if you ask my opinion honestly, I will tell you that I do not agree with you going along with them" said Nigel.

"Let Mero and the others handle this, they are the ones who know what to do, they are trained and skilled to handle matters such as these" said Nigel in honesty of what he really thought.
