"Stand down Mero" said Wura as Mero brought out his sword.
"My Queen, she Is a witch, we do not tolerate witchcraft" said Mero as he was not going to let go of his sword.
"She might be a witch, but we need her help right now, she knows where Liam is, stand down Mero, please" said Wura as she pleaded with Mero as he sighed and he put his sword back in its sheath as he did not trust this woman at all, but for Wura's sake, he would do as she asked.
"Thank you for your kindness my Queen" said the woman as she kept her head bowed.
"I am Elysia my Queen, and I am at your service" said the woman as she smiled and she raised her head.
"I am Diwura Lily Sco… Wyverdale" said Wura as she corrected herself.
"There is no need to introduce yourself my Queen, I know you well" said Elysia as she smiled, she had brown hair and glowing brown eyes, she had a sweet voice, and gentle delicate features, if you were walking past her, you would not think that she was a diviner at all.
"And you Merodachbaladan, son of Baladan, I salute you, for guarding our precious Queen here, with all your heart" said Elysia as she smiled at Mero and he just looked at her, he was weary of her, he felt an unsettling feeling.
"Elysia, we are here because we…" said Wura as she was cut off.
"No need to explain my Queen, I know why you are here, I have been expecting you" said Elysia as she looked at Wura and she smiled.
"You do?" asked Wura.
"I know all and nothing" replied Elysia as she smiled.
"Oh silly me, how could I not offer my guests anything to drink, how rude of me, my Queen, please forgive me, I am not usually this absent minded, please it" said Elysia as she smiled and in the same moment two chairs moved on their own accord to where Mero and Wura were standing.
Wura looked at Mero as Mero looked at her, he did not trust this woman at all, was she not supposed to be a diviner alone? And yet she was displaying witchcraft.
"No need to worry my Queen, like I said, I will not harm you, there is nothing poisonous on the chairs, please sit, It is not good for you to stand a long while, you are still recovering after all" said Elysia as she smiled and Wura looked at Mero as she sat down, she was actually tired of standing.
"That is better my Queen, Mero, mighty man of valour, I am sure that you can take standing up" said Elysia as she smiled and Mero said nothing at all, if this woman made one dangerous move, it would be off with her head.
"How do you know so much about me?... about us?" asked Wura as she looked at Elysia and Elysia looked at her as a chair moved to where she was and she sat on it.
"Well my Queen, because I watch you, I watch many people actually, it gets rather boring being here all alone" said Elysia as she smiled at Wura, and Wura did not like the sound of being watched, quite frankly she felt like this woman was crazy, and she was very strange, she obviously was not a normal person.
Mero looked around as suddenly the fire place lit itself, which made him narrow his eyes as he looked at Elysia.
"My Queen, would you like some tea?" asked Elysia as she smiled and Mero looked at Wura, he did not advise her to take anything from this woman.
"No, I am fine thank you" said Wura as she shook her head, she was not stupid, how could she take food from a stranger, besides, she was not here for that, she was here for something far more important.
"Oh alright then, and I know that Mero does not like eating from the hands of strangers" said Elysia as she smiled at Mero and he just looked at her.
"You said that you know why I am here?" asked Wura as Elysia turned to look at her.
"Ahh yes I do" replied Elysia.
"You are here in search of your lover, your husband, King of Wyverdale, how sad, true lovers separated… by fate… a shame really" said Elysia as she sighed and she smiled.
"What do you mean separated by fate?" asked Wura.
"Well what does it mean to you my Queen?" asked Elysia as she smiled.
"Elysia, do you know where my husband is… is he alive?" asked Wura as she went straight to the point.
"I do not need to answer that question for you my Queen, because you already know the answer" said Elysia as she smiled and she poured herself some tea.
"So he is alive?" asked Wura.
"Yes my Queen, as much as you believed so" said Elysia as she smiled.
"Oh thank God he is" said Wura as she sighed in relief, she felt like a huge weight had been lifted off her chest, Liam was alive, he was alive, she felt so relieved so happy.
"Are you not a diviner?" asked Mero as Elysia looked at him.
"I am" replied Elysia as she smiled.
"Then how come you practice witchcraft as well?" asked Mero.
"I do not practice it per say, but some are gifted, and some are not, what can I say?" asked Elysia as she smiled.
"Elysia please… please can you tell me where Liam is… we have been looking for him to no avail, can you please tell me where he is?" asked Wura as she pleaded with Elysia, she believed all her words.
"My Queen, I will gladly tell you, but first, I need something from you" said Elysia as she smiled.
"Something from me?" asked Wura in surprise.
"Yes my Queen" said Elysia.
"Something like what?" asked Wura in carefulness as Mero looked at Elysia.
"Not something too big my Queen, something little" said Elysia as she smiled.
"You see, I would love to help you and answer all your questions, but this world does not work like that, you need something and I get something in return, nothing is ever free of charge" said Elysia as she smiled and Wura understood her words, right now, she was ready to do whatever she asked as long as she told her where Liam was.
"Well what do you want from me, I will give it to you" said Wura.
"My Queen" said Mero as he did not like where this was going, diviners and witches, they were both the same, their words were never straight, they always had crooked ways of twisting and sucking out the hope and desperation from people.
"Mero stay out of this" said Wura in a commanding tone, she was not a child, she knew what she was doing.
Mero just kept quiet as he did not want to upset her, but as for him, he did not want her giving anything to this witch.
"Elysia, what do you want from me?" asked Wura.
"Well usually in cases such as these, we want blood in exchange" said Elysia as she smiled, but as soon as Wura heard the word blood, her resolved faltered, what did they need her blood for, she was not stupid, blood was the connection, if they had her blood, then they could do anything, she was taught that as a child.
Mero knew this was where this was going, of course it was blood, well he was not going to let Wura give a drop of her blood to anyone.
"But since you are the Queen, I possibly cannot ask for your blood" said Elysia as she smiled.
"So what do you want instead?" asked Wura as she felt better now.
"A strand of your hair will do my Queen" said Elysia as she smiled.
"My hair?" asked Wura as she was confused.
"Yes my Queen, a strand of your delicate hair will do" said Elysia as she smiled.
"So If I give you a strand of my hair, you will answer all my questions?" asked Wura as she wanted to be sure before she did anything drastic.
"Yes my Queen, as you say, so shall it be" said Elysia as she smiled.
"Alright then, I will give you a strand of my hair" said Wura.
"My Queen" said Mero as he could not believe this.
"Stay out of this Mero" said Wura as she was not going to let anyone stop her, especially when they were so close to finding out the truth.
"I will give you my hair" said Wura as Mero kept quiet and Wura quickly plucked out a strand of her hair quickly from her head.
"Here" said Wura as she handed the long strand of her hair to Elysia.
"A strong, brave, determined woman, It is an honour to be of help to you my Queen" said Elysia as she smiled and she took the strand of hair from Wura.
