Chapter 246 - Move away

"Are you happy now?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora.

"Yes my Queen, I am happy now" said Nora as she nodded her head and she smiled and Wura just shook her head, Nora was just too much.

"I am full now, I cannot eat anymore" said Wura as she felt like if she was going to try to force herself to eat more, she would end up throwing up, and she did not want Nora to have to end up cleaning again.

"Alright my Queen, that Is alright, as long as you ate, even if it was only a little" said Nora as she smiled and she took the tray away from Wura as she placed it on the dining table, she would have to go and take it to the kitchen.

"My Queen, would you like to rest now?" asked Nora as she smiled.

"No Nora, I am no tired" said Wura as she stood up.

"My Queen, where are you going?" asked Nora in surprise as she saw Wura get out of her bed.

"I am going to Liam's study" said Wura as she was going to get that book that Nigel spoke about, she wanted to read about it for herself, because she felt like that would be the only way that she would be able to fully believe this herself.

"Alright my Queen, I can accompany you" said Nora as Wura shook her head.

"No Nora, I want to go alone, you can go to the kitchen, I will be back soon" said Wura as she did not even wait for Nora to reply, because she knew that she insisted on going everywhere with her, but she had to go alone now.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she felt a bit sad that Wura was pushing her away, but at least she had finally decided to move around and get out of bed, because she had been in bed for too long, just sleeping, waking up, crying sometimes, and it pained Nora to see Wura like that, so if she felt better now, then she was happy about that.

"I will be back soon" said Wura as she walked out of her room.

"Alright my Queen…" said Nora but Wura was already gone.

"My Queen" greeted a guard as Wura passed by and she did not say anything, she just kept on walking until she reached Liam's office and she sighed, but she was surprised when she saw two guards standing in front of Liam's office, they usually never did that.

"Greetings my Queen" said the two guards as they caught sight of Wura.

"Greetings" said Wura.

"Why are you guarding this place?" asked Wura in confusion.

"Orders from Royal Duke Nigel, no one is allowed to enter his Majesty's office, till further notice" said one of the guards as Wura nodded her head, that did make sense.

"Please move away, I would like to get something from his Majesty's office" said Wura as the two guards looked at her and then at each other, they did not know whether to allow her enter or not.

"I am sorry my Queen, but we were given a stern warning not to let anyone into this office" said the other guard as Wura looked at him, she had to commend them for their obedience and loyalty.

"But I am just not anybody, as you said yourself I am the Queen, so please let me pass through" said Wura.

"I am sorry my Queen, but we have orders" said the other guard as Wura looked a him.

"Look, I understand that you do, and I commend you for your loyalty, but Uncle Nigel already allowed me to go into his Majesty's office, you can ask him yourself, but for now, please let me pass, there is something very important that I have to get in there" said Wura as the guards looked at each other, and then they finally gave way for her to go through.

"Thank you" said Wura as she walked and she opened the door as she closed it behind her.

Wura looked around, it had been such a long time since she had entered Liam's office, they had mostly spent time in his study.

Wura fought to hold back her tears as this place just brought back so many memories of Liam… she just felt like crying right here right now, she missed him so much.

Wura decided that now was not the time to break down here and cry, so she walked to Liam's desk as she saw that there were many documents scattered over his desk.

Subconsciously, she decided to tidy up his desk for him, for when he would return, and when she was done with that, Wura proceeded to check in the right drawer of Liam's desk, and just like Uncle Nigel had told her, she found what looked like a leather journal as she reached out and she picked it up as she closed the drawer.

Wura opened the latch of the journal and right there on the first page, she could recognize Liam's handwriting almost instantly, she knew his handwriting, because she had always admired it, she thought that he wrote beautifully, only that she never told him so, and she regretted that.

Wura closed the latch of the journal as she was took one last look around and she sighed as she walked out the door.

"Thank you for letting me pass" said Wura as she looked at the guards.

"Anything for you your Majesty" said the guard as he nodded his head and Wura just nodded her head as she walked back to her room.

Wura opened the door of her room as she expected for Nora to have returned already, but she did not see her anywhere at all.

Wura walked to her bed as she sat up straight in her bed, and she opened the journal, she was waiting for Nora, but she decided that it would be nice to start reading, so she would understand what exactly was going on a little bit better.

"Nora, are you alright? You do not look so good" said Dawn as she took the tray of unfinished food from Nora, they happened to be the only ones in the kitchen at this time of day, before preparations for dinner would start to be made.

"I am not alright…" said Nora as she looked at Dawn.

"Why is that?" asked Dawn in worry.

"It's her Majesty… she's… she's pushing me away" said Nora as she felt sad.

"I feel like I am annoying to her, like I am bothering her, like a pest" said Nora as she looked down at the ground.

"No, do not say that Nora, I am sure her Majesty does not think that way, she will never say such" said Dawn as she turned to look at Nora.

"Of course she will never say such, because she is too nice to… but her behaviour towards me tell me that" said Nora.

"You think of the worst too quickly Nora" said Dawn as she shook her head.

"If there is someone that her Majesty is fond of, it would be you Nora, she is very close to you, and you are close to her as well" said Dawn.

"But she is pushing me away… she never did that before… and all I want is for her to get better" said Nora as she looked at Dawn.

"Time… give her time Nora… her husband is nowhere to be found, and we are all worried, so just imagine how she is feeling" said Dawn as Nora knew that she was right.

"I know… and I do not want to be selfish, but it hurts me seeing her push me away like that, being so reserved and cold" said Nora.

"Just give her time Nora, time heals… most of the time, but I am sure that very soon, she will warm up to you, and she will tell you what is really on her mind, because you care for her, and she knows that" said Dawn as she smiled and Nora could not smile.

"Alright then…" said Nora.

"Better, which reminds me, Lady Marli wanted to come and see her Majesty, but she feared that she would disturb her at this very delicate time" said Dawn.

"Will Lady Marli be allowed to come and see the Queen?" asked Dawn.

"Well her Majesty does feel better now, and she is going out more, I am sure that she will be happy to see Lady Marli" said Nora.

"Alright Nora, thank you, I will tell Lady Marli" said Dawn as she smiled.

"Alright then, let me go back now, I am sure her Majesty has returned already" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"See you later Nora" said Dawn as she smiled.

"Hmm see you" said Nora as she sighed and she walked out of the kitchen.
