"I have returned Nora" said Wura as she smiled and she walked into her room as Nora looked up and she smiled.
"Welcome back my Queen" said Nora as she smiled.
"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she sighed and she sat down at her dining table as she saw that Nora was still busy cleaning her room.
"My Queen, did you find the answer to what you were looking for?" asked Nora as she smiled.
"Yes I did Nora, his Majesty answered my question" said Wura.
"That is great my Queen" said Nora as she smiled.
"Hmm" replied Wura as she continued reading the text.
"My Queen, you do not look happy" said Nora as she could sense that Wura was upset.
"Hmm, is it that obvious Nora?" asked Wura as she turned to look at Nora and Nora nodded her head.
"*Sigh*" said Wura as she sighed, she really had to work on hiding her emotions, she found it annoying that she was too easy to read.
"My Queen, did something happen that made you upset?" asked Nora as she was worried, Wura was perfectly fine before she went to see his Majesty, and now she returned looking very upset.
"Is it not his Majesty, he always annoys me" said Wura as she sighed.
"My Queen… did he do something to upset you?" asked Nora.
"He did more than that, his actions… his thoughts… his everything annoys me" said Wura as she sighed and Nora could notice that Wura was very really, really upset.
"My Queen, please do not be upset" said Nora.
"It is not good for you to be upset" said Nora.
"How can I not be upset, his Majesty is just too much sometimes" said Wura.
"Nora, can you believe that his Majesty got upset with me, over something so small, I still do not understand why" said Wura as she was seriously upset.
"What did he do to make you so upset my Queen?" asked Nora.
"When I went to meet his Majesty, Sir Mero just happened to be there, and he greeted me and I greeted him as we exchanged pleasantries" said Wura as she explained.
"Then he said that he had to leave, and I and his Majesty spoke, and he answered my question on the Royal Law of year three, everything was fine until…" said Wura as she paused.
"Until what my Queen? asked Nora as she looked at Wura.
"Until he suddenly got upset and he asked me since when Mero and I had become close" said Wura.
"My Queen, I do not think that, that is something to get upset about" said Nora.
"I tell you Nora, apparently he seemed upset that I called Mero by his name, and even though I clearly explained that Mero had asked me to he became even more upset" said Wura as she expressed her frustration.
"I clearly told him that we did not have the same relationship, but nothing I said could change his mind, I do not see what the big deal is with me calling Mero by his name? am I not allowed to address people the way I want to?" asked Wura as she sighed, she felt so much better now that she had voiced out all her anger.
"My Queen… have you considered that maybe his Majesty may be jealous?" asked Nora.
"Jealous??" asked Wura in disbelief as she looked at Nora, and Nora nodded her head.
"Ha… his Majesty… jealous?" asked Wura as she burst into laughter, this was so funny to her.
"My Queen… what is so funny?" asked Nora as she did not find anything funny with what she said.
"Sorry, Nora, but I do not believe that his Majesty is jealous" said Wura as she stopped laughing.
"He does not strike me as a jealous man" said Wura.
"And besides, who is he jealous of?? Mero??? Isn't he one of his most trusted men, I doubt his Majesty is jealous" said Wura as she laughed once again, she could not imagine Liam being jealous, for what? It was not like she was with another man, and besides even if she was, they were not together so he had no reason to be jealous at all.
"My Queen, you never know…" said Nora as her voice trailed off.
"My mother says that men are always jealous and possessive of what belongs to them" said Nora as she looked at Wura.
"Well that is the problem, I am not his possession, I am my own person, I am not some prize to be won, so his Majesty should keep his jealousy to himself, it really is not necessary at all" said Wura as she was annoyed now, that was the problem with men, being possessive and treating women like items.
"Maybe he feels frustrated my Queen?" asked Nora.
"Frustrated about what?" asked Wura.
"He knows the type of relationship that we have, it is strictly out of duty and nothing more, I am not obligated to please him, I have my own rights as well" said Wura.
"My Queen, maybe he wants to change your relationship?" asked Nora.
"Why would he want to do that? There is no reason for that at all Nora, I am perfectly fine with the way things are now" said Wura.
"And besides Nora, whose side are you on anyway?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora.
"Ah… well my Queen, I am on no one's side" said Nora.
"But it feels like you are defending his Majesty" said Wura.
"I am not defending his Majesty my Queen" said Nora as she shook her head.
"But my Queen, there are always two sides to a story, and sometimes, the people who both tell the story, have different views on the same matter" said Nora as Wura was quiet, Nora was right… but she could think of why Liam would be jealous.
"*Sigh*, You are right Nora" said Wura as she sighed.
"Forgive me if I sounded offensive Nora, I did not mean to put you on the spot" said Wura.
"My Queen, I was not offended at all, you were upset, and I understand that" said Nora.
"Oh Nora, you are always so nice to me" said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled at her.
"Nora, maybe his Majesty really is jealous" said Wura.
"But if he is, there is no need for that, I have no eyes for any other man, I know that I am married to him, and that is how things are, I will never involve myself with another man, but he should not pressure me, or expect something from me that I cannot give him" said Wura as she sighed.
"My Queen, maybe you should speak to his Majesty about how you feel" said Nora.
"You are right Nora, and I will, but that will not be now, I do not want to be at the receiving end of his bad mood" said Wura.
"Alright my Queen, I am sure that you will do what is best" said Nora as she smiled.
"Thank you for your trust in me Nora" said Wura as she smiled.
"You are welcome my Queen" said Nora as she smiled and she bowed her head.
"Well let me resume cleaning my Queen" said Nora as she smiled.
"Alright Nora, I will finish what I was doing as well" said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled as she went back to cleaning and Wura went back to looking through the texts.
"His Majesty… jealous?" asked Wura to herself as she laughed internally, she did not know why, but the thought put a smile on her face, he was jealous of her?
"Of all the things" said Wura to herself as she laughed.
…
Later that Evening.
"Good Evening Wura" said Liam as he walked into the dining room and he smiled as he saw Wura already seated in her spot.
"Hmm, good evening your Majesty" said Wura as she did not smile at him at all as he sat down beside her.
"Are you upset?" asked Liam as she looked at Wura.
"I do not think that I am? But then of course, you may have your own opinion of if I am upset of not" replied Wura curtly as she narrowed her eyes at Liam.
"Hmm, I see" said Liam as it was obvious that she was upset, and he knew why, it was because of his earlier attitude towards her when he asked why she called Mero by his name, now he had calmed down, and now that he thought about it, he really was being unreasonable.
"Yes your Majesty" said Wura as she replied.
"I am sorry Wura, please forgive me for my display earlier, you are right, you have every right to do as you please, and it was insensitive of me to demand that you do something that you are not comfortable with, and for that I am sorry" said Liam honestly.
"Hmm…" said Wura, how could she remain upset with him when he apologized so quickly.
"Will you please find a place in your heart to forgive me?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Well your Majesty, what if I did not have a heart, would I still need to find a place in it to forgive you?" asked Wura as Liam felt like laughing, of all the things that she could have said, he had to be so silly, of course she had a heart, she was too kind not to have one.
"Well if you did not have a heart, the you would have not been offended" said Liam as she could not help but laugh.
"Let me just make it clear your Majesty that you, or no one else, can influence what I can, or cannot do, it is up to me to decide if I want to address someone by their first name, or last name, or by whatever title that they bear, is that clear your Majesty?" asked Wura as she did not even care that she was talking to the King right now in such a rude manner.
"Very clear" replied Liam as he smiled and Wura was surprised that he agreed so easily, and he was even smiling, but she quickly concealed her surprise.
"Is that all?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"No, another thing your Majesty, is that I ask that you please do not make requests that I cannot grant, you and I know the sort of relationship we have, and I am happy with it staying like that" said Wura.
"As you wish" replied Liam as he smiled as Wura wondered if her was truly alright to agree to everything that she had asked him, she wondered if he had a fever, but he looked alright.
"Is that all?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"That is all your Majesty" replied Wura as she nodded her head.
"Then will you forgive me now?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"You are forgiven your Majesty" said Wura as she looked away from Liam as he smiled brightly at her.
"Thank you" said Liam as he smiled, and then he laughed, he found this very funny, Wura was the only person in the Kingdom that he would ask forgiveness from, and she was the only one who could act so rudely towards him and all he could do was to smile at her.
"Ahhh Liam, Wura, you both are already here" said Nigel as he smiled and he walked into the dining room.
"Good Evening Uncle Nigel" said Wura as she smiled.
"Good Evening Uncle" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Nigel as Nigel sat down at his spot on the dining table.
"I can see that young love is wonderful" said Nigel as he smiled and Liam laughed as Wura just smiled.
"Well Uncle, I would not say that it is young love" said Liam as he laughed and Wura turned to look at him.
"Oh then, what it is?" asked Nigel as he laughed.
"Well Uncle, I will leave that for you to decide" said Liam as he smiled and Nigel just smiled.
"How was your meeting with Duke and Duchess Williams?" asked Liam as she smiled and Wura looked at Nigel.
"Well it was good Liam, they were very hospitable" said Nigel as he smiled.
"I see, I am glad then Uncle" said Liam as he smiled.
"Yes" said Nigel as he smiled.
"Wura, if I am correct, your parents are not around at this point in time?" asked Nigel as he looked at Liam and he smiled.
"Yes Uncle, they are not around, they are in the plains" said Wura as she smiled.
"Ahh, I see, what a shame, I would have loved to meet them" said Nigel as he smiled.
"I cannot recall every meeting them officially" said Nigel as he smiled.
"I am sure that when they return, they will be more than happy to meet you" said Wura as she smiled and Nigel smiled.
"Since when were you and Wura so close Uncle?" asked Liam as he smiled, he wondered when his wife and Uncle got so close.
"Well just this morning, your wife is very lovely Liam" said Nigel as he smiled at Wura.
"Oh you flatter me Uncle" said Wura as she laughed.
"I know that she is very lovely" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura as she cleared her throat.
"Well I believe that we should eat now" said Wura as she smiled and she changed the subject, she did not need Liam's happy smile at this moment in time.
"Ahh you are right my dear" said Nigel as he smiled and Wura smiled.
"Shall we?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Of course" said Wura as she smiled.
