The space of two days had passed, and they were the most happy two days of her life, she spent time with her father and mother before they had to leave back to the plains, Wura was sad, but she was happy that they had at least come to visit her, and she was still so thankful to Liam.
After two more days, it was time for Wura and Liam to start their own departure from Cornwalk, they were done with their stay in Cornwalk and it was time for them to return to the Capital.
But Wura could not lie she had had, the best moments of her life in this Castle as well as her saddest, and her most awkward, but they were all good memories, memories that she and Liam shared.
"Oh Goodbye my princess, we will miss you" said one of the maids as she smiled.
"And so will I" said Wura as she smiled.
"Believe me I will, please take care all of you… and thank you all for treating me so well" said Wura as she smiled, all her bags were already packed and loaded into the carriage and all that was left was for her to say her goodbyes as it was already time to leave.
"It is our pleasure my princess" said the maids as they smiled and Wura smiled at them.
"Shall we go now?" asked Liam as he walked into Wura's room with a smile, he was happy that he was finally going to see his father soon, he had missed him, although he had enjoyed his time here in Cornwalk with Wura.
"Ahh yes your highness" said Wura as she smiled and she walked towards Liam as he smiled at her and they walked together out of the Castle and to the Carriage.
"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled as Liam helped her into the carriage and Liam smiled as he entered after her and he sat across her.
Wura sighed as she looked out the window, she was going to miss this very beautiful Castle that was always so peaceful.
"What are you thinking about?" asked Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura.
"Ahh well your highness, I am thinking of how much I am going to miss this place" said Wura as she turned to look at Liam as she sighed and she smiled at him.
"Well you do not need to, we can always come back whenever you want to" said Liam as he smiled at her.
"Really your highness?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Of course" said Liam as he smiled, she could do whatever she wanted to do, she had the same power as he did.
"Thank you your highness" said Wura as she smiled, she was really appreciative of him and how nice he treated her and Liam smiled at her as the carriage began to move.
Wura had decided that she was not going to sleep this time around, she did not want to end up embarrassing herself, so she was going to keep her eyes wide open.
"You know… I have a question for you" said Liam as he smiled.
"You do?" asked Wura as she was surprised, she was always the one that had questions for him and not the other way around.
"Yes I do" said Liam as he smiled.
"Well ask away your highness" said Wura as she smiled.
"What did you like most about being in Cornwalk?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Ahh… I see" said Wura as she felt a bit disappointed, just what did she think that he was going to ask her?? She really was not serious at all.
"Well your highness, I loved the quietness, the simplicity, the markets, the snowballs fights" said Wura as she laughed and Liam laughed as well, she mentioned things that made him laugh, they had experienced good things together in the short time they had spent in Cornwalk.
"And most of all, I thank you very much… for inviting my parents to come and visit, even though it was a very short time… but still thank you" said Wura as she smiled at Liam sincerely, he had been so honest with her and so caring with her, and she really liked that.
"You were very happy about that" said Liam as he laughed.
"Oh I still am your highness" said Wura as she smiled.
"In fact, you were so happy that you kissed and hugged me" said Liam as he laughed and the smile on Wura's face dropped as she realized what she had done was true, she had hugged and kissed him??? How could she have done that?? She was lost in the moment of her happiness that she disregarded all of her reservations slip.
"Ahh…" said Wura as she did not know what to say while Liam just smiled at her cheekily, oh how she wanted to remove that smile from his face, he look too happy for her liking.
"*Ahem*, Well for the record your highness, it was a brief hug, and a kiss on the cheek, and nothing more" said Wura as she cleared her throat and she tried to explain.
"I see" said Liam as he just laughed and that annoyed Liam.
"Yes your highness… just consider it as a token of my appreciation" said Wura as she smiled at him in annoyance, she just hoped that he would not hold that singular action of hers over her head, because if he did, that would be so unfair, so very unfair, she would have to be more careful around him from now on.
"Alright, I will, because you tell me to" said Liam as he smiled and Wura scoffed at him, she could not believe that he was still thinking about that, that had happened almost four days ago, and yet he never spoke of it, which made her wonder if he wanted to bring up the topic while they were in a confined space where she could not have possibly escaped.
"Yes, yes your highness" said Wura as she was annoyed and she scoffed as she turned to look at the window, she was going to ignore him, because she took back what she thought about him, he was not sweet at all, quite the opposite he was just so annoying.
…
Wura had succeeded in her plan not to fall asleep, but she was just so tired, she had just passed the time looking at Liam as he worked on some things and he occasionally glanced at her to see if she was still staring at him, and he smiled whenever he saw her still looking at him, which made Wura scoff as she looked away and she looked out the window to pass the time, she wondered why he was just so childish, and how she was childish as well, but that was only because of him.
But finally, sweet freedom, they had finally arrived at the Capital and Wura could not wait to get down from the carriage and go and see Nora, and see Alaric and sleep in her own room once again, and she would be able to avoid Liam.
The Carriage finally came to a halt as it had entered the Castle gates and Wura looked excited as Liam smiled and he opened the Carriage door as he saw that Wura could not wait any longer.
"Oh finally we have arrived" said Wura as she sighed in relief and she smiled at Liam as he helped her down the Carriage as she took a look around… it was cold as always, but she loved it… she was back home… she did not realize that to her, the Castle had now become her home, and she did not even know it.
"Yes we have" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura as the coachman carried their bags into the Castle, Liam was happy he was finally back.
"Oh my prince, my princes you have returned" came the voice of a guard as he rushed to Liam and Wura and he sounded very panicked.
"Yes we have, what is the matter?" asked Liam as he raised an eyebrow at the guard as Wura as looked at him in confusion, just what was going on??
"My Prince… his Majesty" said the guard as he could not calm himself down, he needed to speak well, but he just could not, the matter was very. Very delicate.
"What happened to my father?" asked Liam as he suddenly had a bad feeling, the way the guard was behaving did not sound promising at all.
"His Majesty… his Majesty is seriously ill" said the guard as he panted.
