"Ugh" said Wura as she groaned and she tossed and turned in bed, she just could not go to sleep, every time she closed her eyes all she did was remember the conversation she and Liam had, she could not help but smile, how could she not when he was always so nice to her, he always complimented her.
"Stop behaving like a child Wura" said Wura to herself as she sighed and she smiled, she did not know why Liam had such an effect on her, maybe because he was the first man she was every close with like they were, but whenever she was around him, she felt like she was a child, they both liked to tease each other and play with each other.
"I just hope that he will keep his word… or else, I do not know what I would do" said Wura as she sighed and she turned as she buried her face in her pillow, she did not know what she was feeling, was it relief, happiness, or something else that she did not know how to explain??
"Calm down Wura…" said Wura to herself as she turned back upright and she laid on her back as she looked up at the celling, tomorrow was another day, and who knew what it might hold? But all Wura wanted to do was enjoy the good days… while they lasted.
Early the next morning.
Wura yawned as she opened her eyes, it was already morning, but for some reason she felt tired, but she did not usually like to go back to sleep once she had woken up, so she just got out of bed, she walked to the windows as she pulled back the drapes, the ground had been blessed with another layer of fresh snow, which made her wonder just when the winter would end? It would seem that it had been winter for such a long time now.
Wura walked into the bathing room, there was a huge wooden bath full of water, Wura bent down and touched the water, it was lukewarm, neither hot or cold, so she decided to just take a bath in it, since the maids were not around to boil hot water, and quite frankly, she was to lazy to boil the how water herself.
Wura got a spare towel and she wrapped her hair in it, she did not want to get it wet, Wura sighed, getting ready in the morning was always such a hassle.
…
"Good Morrow Wura" said Liam as he caught site of Wura coming out of her room as he was coming out of his.
"Oh… Good Morrow your highness" said Wura as she turned to smile at him, she did not know why, but she felt odd, speaking to him now, after their discussion last night, she felt very odd, she did not know if Liam felt it as well, but judging from his smile and the way he looked, she doubted that he did.
"How was your night?" asked Liam as he smiled, he did not know if he was seeing things, but Wura looked much more happier, which meant that his father was right, honesty and sincerity was what mattered most when apologizing.
"Well it was good your highness, thank you for asking" said Wura as she smiled, she was not going to tell him that she fell asleep thinking about him, well not exactly thinking about him, but about his actions, there was a huge difference there.
"And how was your night your highness?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Well it was much more better once you were no longer upset with me" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled.
"Shall we proceed to the dining room?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Ahh.. of course" said Wura as she smiled and Liam smiled as he walked ahead of her and she followed after him.
"Hmm this is odd" said Liam as he walked into the dining room.
"What is odd your highness?" asked Wura as she was behind Liam.
"I thought that the dining table would be a mess, we did leave it in a mess last night" said Liam as he looked at the tidied dining table, and all their dishes from last night were already cleared.
"Oh, ahh, I was the one that cleaned the dining table, I did so before I went to bed, we could not possibly leave it like that" said Wura as she explained and Liam turned to look at her, before she had went to bed last night she had decided to clean up, because it was the right thing to do.
"I see" said Liam as he was surprised, was there anything Wura could not do? She could bake, cook, and she cleaned, she could do much more than she said.
"Thank you" said Liam as he smiled.
"You do not need to thank me your highness, that was just the right thing to do" said Wura as she smiled.
"But not many ladies would do that, and believe me, I know" said Liam as he laughed.
"Ah…" said Wura as she did not know why, but him mentioning another woman made her feel a bit.. uncomfortable.
Liam was busy in his own thoughts, it was right about now that he just realized that his plan had backfired at him, he had sent all the maids and servants home for him and Wura to be alone and talk, but now he realized that they had a huge problem on their hands, who would cook for them?? Here they were for breakfast and there was no breakfast.
Liam could not believe this, he usually always thought of everything, but it seemed that was not the case now.
Wura could sense that Liam was thinking on something important, because he had furrowed his eyebrows.
"Your highness, is something the matter?" asked Wura as Liam turned to look at her.
"Well yes, something is the matter" said Liam as he looked at her.
"What is it?" asked Wura.
"Well I just realized that we have no one to cook for us" said Liam as he shook his head, he really did not think through this plan of his, even though it had worked and he and Wura sat down and spoke honestly to one and another.
"Your highness, you really are silly" said Wura as she laughed, she could not believe what she was hearing from him right now.
"How many days did you send off the maids for?" asked Wura as she laughed.
"Well three days" said Liam, what??could you blame him? He thought that it would take Wura a while to forgive him, he did not think that she could forgive him so easily.
"Your highness, you sent them off for three days??" asked Wura as she laughed, she wondered just what he was thinking, he did not even consider that they were alone in everything now.
"Could you blame me, I thought it would take you a while to forgive me" said Liam as he laughed at his own silliness, he really messed up this time, and he had gave the maids a stern warning not to return until the space of three days had passed.
"You know what your highness, you really are silly" said Wura as she laughed.
"Not to worry, I can prepare something for breakfast" said Wura as she laughed, she was not going to let them starve just because Liam did not think this through.
"Would you really do so?" asked Liam in surprise.
"Well of course, why not, either that or we starve for three days" said Wura as she laughed.
"I believe that you are right" said Liam as he laughed.
"Thank you" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled at him as she turned around and she walked to the direction of the kitchen, luckily for her, unlike the Castle back in the capital, the kitchen was no too far, which made it very easy to find.
Wura opened the door to the kitchen as she saw that the kitchen was left very neat, she would have to make a fire for her to be able to cook, luckily her mother had taught her to do so.
Wura walked into the pantry and she brought out a basket of eggs, and some other ingredients as well, while Liam just stood there watching her do what she did.
"Your highness, I have just checked the pantry, and well these are all the ingredients we have left" said Wura as she looked at Liam.
"That is bad news" said Liam, because now they were out of ingredients.
"Oh your highness, it only means that we need to go to the market, except you just want to wait for the maids to return" said Wura as she laughed.
"No, or course not" said Liam as he laughed, next time, he would consider more options before he made a decision such as this.
"But are you sure that you want to go to the market?" asked Liam.
"Of course, why not?" asked Wura as she brought out a pan.
"I used to go to the market all the time" said Wura as she laughed.
"I see" said Liam as he smiled, there was still so much he did not know about Wura yet.
