"So, what do you think of Cornwalk so far?" asked Liam as he smiled and he snapped out of his thoughts, he was sure that he was just overreacting about something he was not supposed to overreact about.
"Well I have been here many times before, and it is truly beautiful and peaceful" said Wura as she smiled.
"Compared to the Capital?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Well every area has its own Charm, Cornwalk is peaceful and simple, while the capital, had the official feel, it is always busy, with many people around, and well it will forever be my home, I was born there" said Wura as she smiled.
"I do agree with you on that" said Liam as he smiled.
"Your highness, have you ever been here in the summer?" asked Wura as she looked away from the window and she turned to look at Liam with a smile.
"Well yes I have, three times, as a child" said Liam as he smiled, he had come here with his Father at that time, back when his father was still very young and agile, he used to go everywhere with him, and Liam loved those times when they were always together.
"My father and I used to go around the Kingdom together, and Cornwalk was always his favourite part of the Kingdom" said Liam as he smiled.
"I see" said Wura as she smiled, now it was no wonder why Alaric had decided that they come here.
"Wura… about the matter with you being with child" said Liam as he smiled.
"Ahh umm…" said Wura as she was embarrassed, she did not want to talk about this now, it was just too much.
"Your highness, I do not think that this is the time for us to discuss that" said Wura as she smiled sheepishly, this was not the best place, or time for them to discuss that delicate matter, she herself still just felt so embarrassed every time she recalled that situation.
"You are right, forgive me if I caused you any discomfort" said Liam as he smiled, he was truly being insensitive, she was right, this was not the type of place or the right time to discuss that matter.
"No, it is alright your highness, it Is fine" said Wura she smiled and the carriage came to a halt as Liam opened the door and he helped her down from the carriage, as Duke Cornwalk helped his wife down as well.
Wura sighed, this was going to be a long day, and she and Liam had to pretend, she was not looking forward to this at all.
…
After Duke and Duchess Cornwalk along with Wura and Liam had finished at the Church, they then proceeded to the school, and after that, they went to the farms.
In Liam's eyes thing were going good, but they could be better, Wura was truly tired of all the walking around, she had not had to do this before, this was the first time for her.
Wura now knew that being a royal was much more than just waving, or making new rules or destroying old ones, it was much more than that, it was serving the people rather than them serving you.
Wura was honestly sad, she wished that she had come here in the summer, because it would just be too beautiful to handle, it was just so serene and peaceful, the winter seemed to take away the beauty from Cornwalk, even though it was still there.
Liam had decided to invite Duke and Duchess Cornwalk for dinner, to which they fully agreed, they considered it an honour and Wura just smiled, she truly still could not believe that they had spent the entire day looking at Cornwalk, and now that the sun was setting is was simply unbelievable.
Wura smiled as she looked out the carriage window, she saw little children in their little coats, smiling and playing in the snow together, it truly warmed her heart, and Liam noticed that she was smiling very happily as he looked out the window to check what made her smile so.
"You are happy to see them playing are you not?" asked Liam as he looked at her and he smiled.
"Of course I am, they are all just so cute and little" said Wura as she smiled and she turned to look at Liam.
"You surely must have played with snow when you were their age" said Liam as he smiled.
"Ahhh well no… No I did not play with snow when I was their age" said Wura as she looked sad.
"How come?" asked Liam as this took his by surprise, he knew that Wura was very adventurous, so it did not make sense to him that she had never played with snow.
"Well my mother never let me play with snow, she did not want to risk me getting ill" said Wura.
"So while others were playing outside, I was always stuck inside, and I could not disobey my mother, she is very strict" said Wura as she smiled sadly.
"That does not seem fair" said Liam.
"Well I can never argue with my mother, in the end she is always right" said Wura.
"And what about you?" asked Wura.
"Did you play with snow while you younger your highness?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Ahh well I did… I would often throw balls of snow at the guards who guarded me so diligently" said Liam as he laughed.
"And the poor good men, they would never make a sound, or complain, they would just stand there, taking all the balls of snow that I threw at them" said Liam as he laughed and Wura started laughing, she found this just too funny.
"What is so funny?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Well your highness, I never took you for the mischievous type as well" said Wura as she laughed.
"You really were brutal to those poor guards who were only doing their duty" said Wura as she laughed, she never thought that Liam could be such a troublemaker, his gentle featured really could fool you.
"Well I do feel bad to say that I have done much more worse" said Liam as he laughed, he did agree with Wura, he had a wild side to him, one that he rarely showed since he had come back from war.
"One day, my father was having a meeting with one of the Lords, and well I happened to be on above them as they were speaking" said Liam.
"I do not know what came over me, but I decided to be a bit... ill-mannered" said Liam as he laughed.
"I took a handful of snow, and I dropped it straight on the Lord, and I dropped one as well on my father" said Liam as he laughed.
"Oh no" said Wura as she covered her mouth with her hands and she shook her head, she could not believe this at all, Liam was just too much.
"Oh well yes, I am not proud of what I did now, but I have to admit that it truly was amusing" said Liam as he shook his head and Wura began to laugh, she just could not contain herself, this was just too funny, and Liam began to laugh.
"You really did misbehave" said Wura as she laughed and she shook her head.
"My father was furious, he demanded that whoever threw snow on him and his guest come out soon, and when I did, he truly was not happy with me at all" said Liam as he laughed.
"I do not blame him at all, I agree with him" said Wura as she laughed.
"I was forced to apologize to the Lord, and well he told me that he would speak to me later" said Liam as he laughed.
"The young me dreaded when my father would come to speak to me, I was forced to stay in my room till dinner time" said Liam as he laughed.
"And what did his Majesty do?" asked Wura as she laughed.
"Well just as he had said, he did come to speak to me, first he spoke about how what I did was impolite, and I was a prince and I should act like one, with good manners, and perfect attitude, and he went on and on" said Liam.
"Until finally, he admitted that he laughed a bit when the snow fell on the Lords head, but his laughter was cut short when snow landed on his head as well" said Liam as he laughed.
"His Majesty really is something else" said Wura as she laughed.
"If I was the one who did such a thing, I would be scolded severely by my mother, and well my father would be disappointed in me at first, and then later on we would laugh about the matter" said Wura as she laughed.
"Well I was quite the player when I was younger" said Liam as he laughed.
