"I have tried to stop them, but they insist on seeing you" said the maid as she bowed her head and she panicked, she did not want to reprimanded this early in the nice morning.
"That is alright, let them in" said Liam as he turned to look at the maid with a smile, and the maid was surprised, but she quickly composed herself as she raised her head.
"Alright your highness" said the maid as she nodded her head and she quickly rushed out of the dining room, she considered herself lucky that she was not blamed for anything.
"I wonder who would want to see you this early" said Wura out loud as she thought she was talking to herself, she could not think of anyone that would want to see Liam in such a rush, and it seemed very urgent with the way the maid spoke.
"You mean see us" said Liam as he smiled and Wura looked away from him as she heard the sound of footsteps at the entrance to the dining room, she was not in the mood for any of his nonsense right now.
"My prince, my princess, Duke and Duchess Cornwalk are here to see you" said another maid as she walked into the dining room and she introduced the people who were here to see Liam and Wura this early in the morning.
"Let them in" said Liam as he smiled and the maid nodded her head as she walked out the dining room and a few seconds later a dark-haired man with brown eyes and a blonde haired woman with blue eyes walked into the dining room hand in hand.
"Ahh Duke and Duchess Cornwalk, what a surprise this is this fine morning" said Liam as he smiled.
"Please accept my apologies my prince, we were not aware that you were in the middle of breakfast" said the Duke as he smiled.
"Yes my princes please forgive us" said the Duchess as she smiled.
Duke Richmond Cornwalk, and his wife Duchess Amina Cornwalk, they were one of the seven Duke and Duchess families in Wyverdale, their Dukedom was the region of Cornwalk, and they oversaw after that area, the flower of their Dukedom was the cornflower, as it grew well in this area.
"You do not need any forgiveness, I am not upset at all" said Liam as he smiled.
"Thank you your highness" said Duke Cornwalk as he smiled.
"Ahh Diwura, oh I mean my princess, it has been a while" said Duchess Amina Cornwalk as she smiled and she turned to look at Wura who smiled.
"Oh please Duchess Cornwalk, I prefer Diwura, and yes quite a while it has been" said Wura as she smiled, her family and the Cornwalk family were somewhat close, and she often spent time with them whenever her family came to Cornwalk.
"Oh still as humble as ever my princess" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled, out of all the other Duke and Duchesses children, Wura was always the most polite, sweet, nice and kind.
"I do try" said Wura as he smiled.
"How is Esmond?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Ahh well he is doing well My princess, thank you for asking" said Duke Cornwalk as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.
"Your highnesses, his Majesty has been asking about how things have been faring here, and well we have given him a sincere report of mostly good things, and he had always expressed his wish to come down here and see things for himself, the way he used to do in the past, but were very surprised when we were informed of your arrival, and so we just quickly had to come and see for ourselves" said Duke Cornwalk as he laughed.
"Well with the ways thing look, it would seem that my father has been planning this journey for us for a long while now" said Liam as he laughed and he looked at Wura as she smiled at him.
"Oh his Majesty is always so crafty" said Duchess Cornwalk as she laughed and they all laughed along with her, it was true, Alaric was very crafty, in a good way, he could think of many things that no one else could think about.
"Would you like to join us for breakfast?" asked Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled as she stayed quiet and she let Liam handle everything, she was not sure exactly of what the royal duties she was supposed to carry here were.
"Ahh yes your highness, you are so generous" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled, Liam was always a fine young man, he was very polite, and Duchess Cornwalk was sure that Liam was going to be a great king, just like his father.
"Please join us" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled as Duke and Duchess Cornwalk walked to the dining table as they took a seat beside each other.
"Thank you your highness" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled.
"Please prepare breakfast for Duke and Duchess Cornwalk" said Liam as he smiled and he turned to look at the maid who was standing in the corner in case they were in need of anything.
"Yes your highness" said the maid as she nodded her head and she walked away.
"Ahh my dear, you looked so beautiful on your wedding say, I could not even believe that It was you" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled and she looked at Wura.
"Oh your flatter my Duchess Cornwalk" said Wura as she laughed, she was sure that she did not look that beautiful, she was just herself, and she was sure that Duchess Cornwalk was exaggerating a bit.
"No my dear, I do not, I am sure his highness is glad to have you as his wife" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled and she looked at Liam.
"I really am" said Liam as he smiled and he turned to look at Wura and she subtly rolled her eyes at him, he was very good at pretending, and she did not know if that was a bad thing or a good thing.
"Oh my dear, please forgive me, I have been speaking quite a lot, and I did not even ask after your mother" said Duchess Cornwalk as she laughed in embarrassment.
"That is alright Duchess Cornwalk, my mother Is doing well" said Wura as she smiled.
"Oh that is very good dear, and how about your father?" asked Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled.
"He is doing good as well" said Wura as she smiled, and the maid walked into the dining room with two more plates of food as she placed them in front of Duke and Duchess Cornwalk as they smiled.
"I truly must thank you both on behalf of my father, he really is grateful on how diligent you are in overseeing Cornwalk for him" said Liam as he smiled, if there was one Duke family his father really trusted it was Duke and Duchess Cornwalk, they were very honest people.
"You do not have to thank us at all your highness" said Duke Cornwalk as he smiled.
"We are of course your humble servants" said Duke Cornwalk as he smiled.
"And we will forever serve the Kingdom" said Duchess Cornwalk as she added and she smiled.
"Your service is well appreciated" said Liam as he smiled.
"Oh thank you your highness" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled.
"My prince, the main reason we came to see you is because some official duties need to be carried out in this part of the Kingdom" said Duke Cornwalk as he spoke up.
"Yes, I am aware, my father has informed me" said Liam as he smiled.
"Yes your highness, there are still some issues that we require your approval on" said Duke Cornwalk.
"I believe it would be advisable if you take a look around Cornwalk" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled and Wura just sat there in silence as she ate her food, she did not understand what they were talking about at all, she just felt out of place, so she stayed in her place.
"Yes, that is advisable, we have nothing doing here at the moment, so you can gladly show us around" said Liam as he smiled, he knew Cornwalk well already, but Duke and Duchess Cornwalk were being very good hosts and he could not turn them down.
"We??" asked Wura to herself, but she realized that was a stupid question, she was princess now, and well that meant that she had new duties and responsibilities.
"We would be glad to do so your highness" said Duchess Cornwalk as she smiled and Liam smiled at her as she turned to look at Wura and Wura smiled as well, she knew that this was not going to be an easy task at all, now she would have to spend the entire day with Liam, oh how unlucky she was.
