"Yes four children" said Liam as he turned to look at Wura.
"My dear, how many children do you want to have?" asked Alaric as he smiled and he turned to look at Wura.
"Ahh well…" said Wura.
"I have always wanted two children" said Wura as Liam looked at her.
"One boy and one girl, so if the boy is lonely he can play with his sister, and if the girl is lonely she can play with her brother" said Wura as she explained and she smiled.
"I always admired the relationship that my Father and Aunt have" said Wura as she smiled.
"What a good choice my dear, it is a very good choice, a family is complete with a boy and girl" said Alaric as he smiled, Wura had a good way of thinking.
"Thank you your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled at Alaric.
"What about you your highness??" asked Wura as she turned to look Liam.
"Why do you want to have four children?" asked Wura as she was truly curious, she did not think that he looked like a man who would want many children.
"Well because my father also wanted to have four children" said Liam as he replied simply.
"Ahh my boy, you truly are my son" said Alaric as he smiled at Liam.
"Oh I see" said Wura as she smiled, she wanted to ask why his Majesty only had Liam and not four children like he wanted, but then she remembered that maybe it was because her Majesty died during childbirth, and she did not want to open that topic right now.
"Was I not your son before Father?" asked Liam as he laughed.
"Oh yes you were my boy, but now you truly are" said Alaric as he laughed and Liam shook his head as he laughed, he could not believe his father sometimes.
"So how many children do the both of you want?" asked Alaric as he looked at Wura and then Liam.
Wura looked at Liam, she wondered how things came to this? When they did start talking about children.
"Ah well… we do not know yet your Majesty" said Wura, because quite frankly, she did not want children at all.
"Did not the both of your discuss this matter before you got married?" asked Alaric as he smiled.
"Well not exactly father, we did not have time to" said Liam as he turned to look at his father.
"Oh alright my boy, I do understand" said Alaric as he smiled.
"But how many grandchildren are you willing to give me?" asked Alaric as he smiled and Wura almost coughed once again, it seemed that Alaric really wanted Grandchildren.
"As Wura wants, and if she wants two children, then that will be alright by me" said Liam as he turned to look at Wura and he smiled at her, and she smiled at him as she looked down.
"Oh my boy, alright, I see you speak for your wife" said Alaric as he laughed, he was right, them spending some alone time together would do them some good, they seemed closer.
"I do apologize my dear if I seem intruding" said Alaric as he looked at Wura and he smiled.
"At my age, you only ever look forward to two things, grandchildren, and death" said Alaric as he laughed.
"Father please do not say that, you will not die anytime soon" said Liam as he looked at his father and he shook his head.
"Yes your Majesty, your health is our main concern, and you will live very long" said Wura as she looked at Alaric as she smiled, she did not want him to die, he was too sweet.
"Ahh my dears, we all will die someday, and when the old die, it is not a curse but a blessing" said Alaric as he laughed.
"Yes father, it is true that we all will die someday, but you will not die anytime soon" said Liam as he looked at his father.
"Alright my boy, whatever you say" said Alaric as he smiled and Wura smiled at him, he really was a man that was simple.
"But I will need to go sooner or later" said Alaric as he smiled.
"And it would be later rather than sooner" said Liam as Wura laughed, the father and son were arguing about death, and she just could not help herself, but she stopped laughing once she saw the way Liam looked at her and Alaric as well.
"Oh umm… I am sorry if I was impolite" said Wura as she cleared her throat.
"No you were not impolite at all my dear, you can laugh if you want to" said Alaric as he smiled.
"You seem to be in a very good mood this evening" said Liam as he looked at her.
"Well I do not know what you mean, I am always in a good mood always" said Wura as she smiled.
"Hmm I beg to differ with that, you can be somewhat moody" said Liam as he smiled.
"Moody??" asked Wura as she could not believe this.
"If there is anyone that is truly moody, that would be you, you are very moody all the time, one moment you smile and the next you frown" said Wura as she shook her head at him.
"Oh is that so?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Yes, it is so" said Wura as she nodded her head.
"Father, am I moody?" asked Liam as he turned to look at his father.
"Well my boy, your wife speaks the truth, you can be a bit moody at times" said Alaric as he laughed.
"So much for you being on my side father" said Liam as he shook his head, his wife and father had decided to go up against him.
"I am on the side of my daughter in law in this" said Alaric as he laughed.
"Thank you your Majesty" said Wura as she laughed as she looked at Alaric, It was good to know that someone was on her side, and it made her smile, she loved when they spoke like this during dinner, it was simply so lively.
…
The next day.
"My Lady, you called for me?" asked Dawn as she walked into a room.
"Yes Dawn, please sit" said Lady Marli as she was sitting on an armchair, and Dawn sat across her in the other armchair.
"As you may have heard by now, I will be leaving the Castle for a while" said Lady Marli.
"Yes my lady, I have heard so" said Dawn as she nodded her head.
"And as I will be leaving, someone will need to take over my duties" said Lady Marli.
"Someone devoted, someone trustworthy, someone who truly deserves to be in charge, someone good who will run the Castle in my stead" said Lady Marli.
"And I have given it much thought, and I have chosen who will do so" said Lady Marli as Dawn looked up at her as she spoke and she waited for her to finish speaking, she wondered why Lady Marli had called her here this early in the morning.
"I trust your decision will be the best my lady" said Dawn as she smiled.
"Yes it will be" said Lady Marli.
"Because the person I have chosen to replace me is you Dawn" said Lady Marli.
"Me??" asked Dawn in surprise as she could not believe what she was hearing.
"Yes you Dawn, you have been a very devoted maid in the Castle, you are nice to others, you have a good sense of responsibility" said Lady Marli.
"Oh thank you, thank you my lady, thank you" said Dawn as she was excited, she even forgot that she was speaking to Lady Marli and she jumped out of her chair and she hugged Lady Marli tightly.
"Dawn, what have I said about emotions getting the better of you?" asked Lady Marli.
"Oh, I am so sorry my Lady, thank you" said Dawn as she smiled, she could not believe this, this just made her so happy.
"It is alright Dawn" said Lady Marli as she smiled, she knew that she was making the right decision by choosing Dawn to replace her, the girl was just right for the job.
"My Lady, we truly will miss you, all of us will" said Dawn as she went back to sit down and she smiled.
"And I will miss you all as well, but I will return soon" said Lady Marli as she smiled.
"I really hope that you enjoy your break my lady" said Dawn as she smiled.
"I will Dawn, I will, thank you" said Lady Marli as she smiled and Dawn smiled at her, she had always admired Lady Marli, and now she was finally going to have the chance to be like her, but nicer of course, she was going to smile more, which was something Lady Marli rarely did.
"You are welcome my Lady" said Dawn while smiling.
