"My Princess, the records office is just behind this door, you may go in, I am sure that your father should be there" said Nora.
"I must be taking my leave now my princess, we maids are not allowed in the records office" said Nora as she shook her head.
"Well that is alright Nora" said Wura.
"But what if my father is not in there?" asked Wura.
"Well my princess, if he does not happen to be there, you may just go out and ask the records guards, they stand guard right outside, and they might be able to assist you" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Oh alright then Nora, Thank you" said Wura as she smiled at Nora.
"It is my duty my princess" said Nora as she bowed and she walked away as she closed the door behind her leaving Wura standing in front of a mighty door.
"Alright then" said Wura as she sighed and she opened the door and she walked into one of the records office.
The office had many desks and there were a few shelves with what seemed to be official documents, Wura walked deeper into the office as she could not see anyone here at all.
"Father… Father are you here??" asked Wura as she called out for her father.
"Father" called out Wura once again as she stopped at a wooden shelf and she touched one of he documents that were set on the shelf.
"Ahh my dear, what are you doing here??" came Lawrence voice as he asked as he saw Wura's back turned to him, he had just gone to the back of the office to search for a particular, special record, and as he had returned he had heard the voice of his sweet daughter calling out to him.
"Well I was looking for you of course father" said Wura a she turned to face him with a smile.
"I am very glad that you decided to surprise me" said Lawrence as he smiled and Wura walked to him and she hugged him.
"Father may I speak to you about some things?" asked Wura as she was still hugging her father and she looked up at him, she only reached up to his shoulders, her father was rather a very tall man, and she was still shorter than him.
"Oh course my dear, you know that you can speak to me about anything" said Lawrence as he gave her a kiss on her forehead, which she loved and she smiled at him.
"Yes father I know" said Wura as she smiled, her father was her main source of courage and support he was always there for her, and he always will, and that was why she loved him very much, she could not imagine her life without him.
"Alright my dear, first let us sit" said Lawrence as he smiled and Wura let go of him as he sat down on one of the couches and Wura sat down right beside him.
"Father what are you doing here??" asked Wura as she looked around the office.
"Well my dear, his Majesty had asked me to search for some important records that happened during the early time of his reign, and I happen to be more suited to search for these records, seeing as they took place when I first became Duke" said Lawrence as he explained as he put down the records in his hand on a little table by his side.
He still had some time, and he could continue to search later, but for now, his daughter needed him.
"Oh, I see" said Wura as she smiled, if there was someone dedicated to their duty, it would be her father, he was a very diligent man, and Wura had always admired that about him.
"So is that all you and his Majesty spoke about?" asked Wura as she was curious to what her father and his Majesty would speak about, it certainly would not only be about the official affairs of the Kingdom.
"Well not quite my dear" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"But I am sure that you did not come here to speak to me about his Majesty" said Lawrence as he laughed.
"Alright father, you are right" said Wura as she laughed.
"Father, I actually wanted to speak to you about something very important" said Wura as she looked at her father.
"Well what is it my dear?" asked Lawrence.
"I have a question father" said Wura.
"And you know what I always say about questions" said Lawrence as he laughed.
"A question is only a question when you do not ask" said Wura and Lawrence at the same time as they began to laugh.
"You see, so ask away my dear, so we can get your question answered" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"Alright father" said Wura as she smiled, she missed their quality time talks and laughs so much.
"*Sigh*" said Wura as she sighed.
"Father…" said Wura as she hesitated.
"Father, how would you know when you are in love?" asked Wura as she decided to just come out with what was bothering her already.
"Ahhh my dear" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"Never did I imagine the day that you would ask me such a question" said Lawrence.
"You have always seemed to be uninterested in the topic love" said Lawrence as he laughed.
"Well that is not true Father, I love you, and mother, and Aunt Tessa, and Uncle Richard" said Wura as she laughed.
"Well of course you do my dear, that is a kind of family love, but you never had interest for the romantic type of love" said Lawrence as he laughed, he remembered when Wura had first turned thirteen, he had thought that maybe she would have started to have in interest in boys, it would be no surprise seeing as almost have of the Duke children were already engaged to another by that age, but his Wura was not like that, she would rather paint, or draw or sew, or go adventuring outside.
"Well father, that was then, but now I want to know more about the romantic type of love" said Wura as she smiled.
"How does it feel like to fall in love father?" asked Wura as she smiled at him.
"Ahhh my dear, well love…" said Lawrence as he started.
"Love is much more than the pattering of your heart" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"It is much more than the kisses and hugs you exchange with each other" said Lawrence as he looked at Wura.
"Love is a commitment" he said.
"Love is more than a feeling you get, it is you promising your unyielding affection and adoration to someone" said Lawrence.
"Whether they give you back that same affection or not" said Lawrence.
"Love is esteeming someone better than yourself, accepting them with all their faults, and not minding them at all regardless, it is overlooking all their shortcomings and supporting them either way" said Lawrence.
"Love is a wonderful thing, it is being unable to imagine your life with that one person by your side" said Lawrence.
"Just like I do with your mother, the love of my life" said Lawrence as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.
"Love is loving someone, even if the times are not easy at all, being with them in the good times and bad times, in adversary and in peace" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"It is being a strong tower to the person you love, you both being there for each other, and supporting each other" said Lawrence.
"Do you now know what love is my dear?" asked Lawrence as he smiled at Wura.
"Yes I do father" said Wura as she smiled.
"But how do I know if you are in love with someone?" asked Wura.
"Well my dear, no one can tell you that except for you yourself" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"But what if I myself am not sure of if I am in love?" asked Wura.
"My dear, when you are In love, you will know" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"How will I father?" asked Wura as she was uncertain.
"You will know when you feel it in here" said Lawrence as he smiled and he pointed to his heart.
"In here??" asked Wura as she pointed to her own heart.
"Yes my dear, when you are in love, your heart will tell you" said Lawrence as he smiled.
"I see" said Wura as she seemed to be thinking, her father had given her a lot to think about.
"So does that answer your question my dear?" asked Lawrence as he smiled.
"Yes father, it does, it really does" said Wura as she smiled.
"Thank you father" said Wura as she smiled and she hugged her father's side.
"You are welcome my dear" said Lawrence as he smiled at her, he would always be here for her, no matter what.
