"Oh well no, no, he should let you carry on your duties" said Wura as she shook her head.
"I am perfectly fine without you" said Wura quickly.
"Are you sure about that?" asked Liam as he smiled.
"Of course I am" said Wura as she nodded her head.
"I was perfectly fine before I met you, and of course I would still be the same without you" said Wura as she was very sure of her statement.
"Well those are very strong words from you" said Liam as he smiled.
"I am not one to place my life in the hands of others" said Wura.
"We came to this world alone, and alone we will go" said Wura as she smiled.
"Your philosophies are very interesting" said Liam as he smiled, he felt like he could listen to her talk all day, and he would never get bored.
"Do you not think at least in one's life, you would need someone to lean on?" asked Liam as he wanted to hear her opinion.
"Of course, everyone deserves a chance at love, and for me family is the most important thing in this life" said Wura as she smiled.
"Have you even been in love before?" asked Liam.
"Well no, of course not" said Wura as she replied quickly and she shook her head.
"And what about you? Have you ever been in love before??" asked Wura as she threw the question back to him, and she eyed him suspiciously, she did not know why, but she felt like they were speaking more naturally to each other, and in all honesty she liked it when they communicated more easily with each other.
"Well same as you, I have never" said Liam as he replied and he smiled.
"But I have no reservations against falling in love" said Liam as he smiled at Wura.
"*Ahem*" said Wura as she cleared her throat, he knew that he was referring to their relationship, and well Wura did not want that at all, she had just married him out of her duty to her family and the Kingdom, she had no agenda to fall in love at all.
"Oh yes before I forget" said Wura as she changed the subject, things were getting too much for her, their conversation was going too deep.
"My mother would like to prepare something for desert for dinner this evening" said Wura as she looked at Liam.
"Would she be allowed to do that?" asked Wura.
"Well of course, she is more than welcome to, I am sure my father would be eager to taste one of her deserts" said Liam as he smiled.
"Your mother makes the best deserts" said Liam as he smiled.
"I can still remember the taste of that Carrot Cake she prepared last time" said Liam as he smiled, he was not one who really liked sweet deserts, but Ireti's deserts were just the best.
"Haha I am glad that you think so" said Wura as she laughed, she could not blame him at all, her mother did make the best deserts, and they were the best part of her childhood as well.
"I still do not know how much mother's deserts are always so delicious" said Wura as she laughed, she herself had watched how her mother prepared her deserts, and yet when she made deserts by herself, it would never be as delicious as her mother's.
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that her mother prepared it with love, Wura grew up with her mother always cooking for her, which was why in her mind, there was no better cook than her mother.
"I would gladly steal her recipes from her" said Liam as he laughed.
"Oh I doubt that would do any good at all" said Wura.
"Believe me, I have followed her recipes very carefully, and yet for some reason, my desert would still turn out less delicious than the one of my mother's" said Wura as she laughed.
"Then does that mean she uses magic in her recipes?" asked Liam as he laughed.
"I also doubt that too, she is just a very good cook" said Wura as she smiled.
"So what is she making for desert?" asked Liam as he smiled, he was curious.
"I have no idea at all" said Wura as she smiled.
"My mother refused to tell us anything at all" said Wura as she laughed.
"Well I look forward to what she prepares" said Liam as he smiled.
"Yes, I do too" said Wura as she smiled and the room went quiet.
"*Ahem*…" said Wura as she cleared her throat, they had run out of what to talk about, and now the atmosphere in the room was somewhat awkward.
"Well… that was all I came here for" said Wura as she stood up, she decided that it was time she took her leave, she and Liam had nothing else to discuss.
"I will be taking my leave now" said Wura.
"Well alright then Wura, I shall see you later" said Liam as he smiled at her.
"And so will I your highness" said Wura as she smiled briefly at him before she walked out of his office and she closed the door behind.
"This is the first time she has not glared at me while we are having a conversation" said Liam to himself as he smiled, he found Wura good company to be around… well that was at least when she was nice to him.
"My princess, I am here" said Nora as she called out from the other side of the hall, as she saw that Wura had come out of Liam's office and she seemed to be looking for her.
"Oh Nora" said Wura as she turned to look at Nora and she smiled at her.
"My princess, have you finished what you wanted to discuss with his highness?" asked Nora.
"Yes, I have, thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled.
"You are welcome my princess" said Nora as she smiled.
"What were you doing over there Nora?" asked Wura as she looked at Nora.
"Well my princess, I was helping one of the maids, as she had to carry some buckets from the kitchen outside" said Nora.
"Oh, that is very nice of you" said Wura as she smiled and Nora bowed her head to the ground slightly.
"And are you done helping her?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Yes I am my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Alright then, shall we go now?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Yes my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Where would you like to go my princess?" asked Nora.
"Well to my room" said Wura.
"Alright my princess, right this way" said Nora as she led the way.
…
"Nora?" called Wura as she looked at Nora as Nora was cleaning her room while she sat on her bed.
"Yes my princess??" asked Nora as she stopped sweeping and she turned to look at Wura.
"Can you please return his highness's coat to him, I am sure that he would need it" said Wura as she remembered that Liam's coat was still in her possession.
"Alright my princess, I shall do so" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"Oh and Nora, can you please find my mother, I want to speak to her" said Wura.
"And my Aunt Tessa as well" said Wura.
"Alright my princess, I shall do so at once" said Nora as she nodded her head and she rested the broom on the wall.
"My princess, which would you prefer me to do first?" asked Nora.
"Shall I return his highness's coat first, or shall I call your mother and Aunt first?" asked Nora as she looked at Wura.
"Well return his highness's coat first, and then you may call my mother and Aunt" said Wura.
"Alright my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head and Wura smiled, Nora was a very organised person.
"My princess, I shall return soon" said Nora as she walked to Wura's closet and she removed Liam's coat that she had neatly hung there so it would not be ruffled.
"Alright Nora, thank you" said Wura as she smiled.
"You are welcome my princess" said Nora as she smiled at Wura before she left her room.
Wura stood up from her bed, she was tired of doing nothing at all and being lazy, Nora would not let her do anything at all, so now that Nora was not here, Wura would clean her room herself, back home she used to do that a lot, since her mother did not want her to be a lazy child, and she loved to work and be busy.
Wura walked to the wall where Nora had left the broom, and she held the broom in her hand as she began to sweep her room.
"Now this feels much better" said Wura as she smiled to herself.
It felt good for her to finally do something for herself after such a long time.
