"Nora" called Lady Marli as she turned to look at Nora.
"Yes my lady?" asked Nora as she bowed her head and she stood in front of Lady Marli.
"How was the Princess this morning?" asked Lady Marli.
"Well she was alright" said Nora.
"Be more specific Nora" said Lady Marli.
"Well my lady, she complained of being tired, I could sense that she had minor body aches, and most of all she was wearing the Prince's favourite coat" said Nora as she reported her observations.
"Good observations Nora, good" said Lady Marli as she smiled, all those clues were pointing to the fact that the Prince and the Princess had consummated their marriage, which was a good sign.
"And how have you been taking care of the Princess?" asked Lady Marli.
"I have been doing my best My lady" said Nora as she nodded her head.
"You may ask the Princess herself what she thinks of my service my lady" said Nora as she raised her head and she looked at lady Marli.
"No, there is no need for that" said Lady Marli.
"If you did not serve her well, I would have already been aware" said Lady Marli.
"Well I congratulate you for taking good care of our princess" said Lady Marli.
"Thank you my Lady" said Nora as she smiled.
"But make sure not to dally, it is your responsibility to cater for the needs of the princess, and you must do so well, with all your heart" said Lady Marli.
"Yes My Lady, I shall do so" said Nora as she nodded her head and she smiled and Lady Marli smiled at her.
"So what did the Princess say about moving to the prince's quarters?" asked Lady Marli.
"Well my lady, I did ask her if she wanted to move" said Nora.
"And??" asked Lady Marli.
"And she refused, she said that she had developed a liking to the room she was currently residing in" said Nora.
"Well that is understandable" said Lady Marli, she respected Wura, she had never once heard that Wura had a problem or a misunderstanding with one of the servants, and well Lady Marli had seen Wura herself during the wedding, and she could truly say that Wura was a very beautiful woman.
"She does have as much right as his highness to choose where is it In the Castle that she would prefer to reside in" said Lady Marli.
"Although I would prefer it if she was closer to her husband" said Lady Marli.
"Well please forgive me for saying this my lady" said Dawn as she looked at Lady Marli and Lady Marli turned to look at her.
"But there would have been no need for the Princess to have to move if you had allowed her stay in the Prince's quarters the first time she arrived at the Castle" said Dawn as she smiled.
"And just who asked you to join this conversation Dawn?" asked Lady Marli as she frowned at Dawn.
"I am sorry my lady" said Dawn as she stifled a laugh and she bowed her head.
"Get back to cleaning the walls" said Lady Marli as she sounded very angry.
"Right away my lady" said Dawn as she went back to cleaning the walls, she really had annoyed Lady Marli this time, but what could she say? She was only telling the truth after all, and the truth could not be hid.
"Anyway as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted" said Lady Marli as she eyed Dawn in particular.
"You have done a good service to the Princess Nora, so you may go now" said Lady Marli as she turned back to look at Nora.
"Thank you my lady" said Nora as she bowed and she walked away.
"That wall is not getting any cleaner, scrub harder Dawn" said Lady Marli as she turned to look at Dawn who was scrubbing the walls.
"Yes my lady" said Dawn as she applied more pressure, and she scolded herself for opening her big mouth, why could she not have just been quiet??
…
"Well now Liam is a married man" said Zuph as he laughed as he sat on the wall.
"Yes, which means it is your turn now Zechariah, you need a wife" said Luc as he turned to look at Zechariah and he laughed.
"Well I am still looking for the right maiden" said Zechariah as he laughed.
"What about you Mero?" asked Luc as he turned to look at Mero who was walking towards them.
"What about me?" asked Mero as he did not understand what Luc was talking about.
"Since you and Liam are very close, are you not going to follow in his footsteps and get married as well?" asked Luc as he laughed.
"Well no, I am not getting married, and I never will" replied Mero non-chalantly.
"Aww but why not?" asked Zuph.
"Well because I am not Liam" said Mero.
"Well alright then" said Zuph as he laughed.
"Good to know that we will both remain the same Mero" said Elihu as he laughed and he looked at Mero as he walked to him and he put his hand over Mero's shoulder.
"Well no, we are not the same" said Mero as he removed Elihu's hand from his shoulder.
"I am not getting married based on choice" said Mero.
"While you on the other hand… well I doubt any woman would want to marry you" said Mero with a straight face.
"Ooooh that was a low blow Mero" said Zuph as he laughed.
"Good one Mero" said Zechariah as he could not help but laugh.
"That one must have hurt" said Luc as he laughed, Mero was being very mean this fine morning.
"*Ahem*" said Elihu as he cleared his throat, he was not expecting Mero to say such to him, Mero usually just remained quiet, but it seemed that he had annoyed him today.
"Well just for the record, I may get married if I wish to do so" said Elihu as he laughed and he concealed his annoyance as he smiled.
"I am of course Charming, handsome, and brave after all, and any maiden would be lucky to have me" said Elihu as he smiled smugly as if he was the most handsome man alive.
"More like unlucky" said Luc as he rolled his eyes and the other laughed all except for Mero.
"Oh Luc is right, I truly pity the woman who would dare marry you" said Zuph as he laughed.
"And you shut up" said Elihu as he was now angry.
"Whatever you say" said Zechariah as he shook his head.
"Mero, are you travelling down to the east?" asked Zechariah as he turned to look at Mero.
"Well I am not sure yet, but I will surely go to the east" said Mero.
"I just need to speak to Liam first" said Mero.
"Well alright" said Zechariah.
"Which reminds me that I must go and speak with him now" said Mero.
"I shall see you all later, and please do mind yourselves" said Mero as he turned to look at every single one of them.
"You should tell that to Elihu" said Luc as he laughed.
"Mhmm" said Mero as he shrugged them off and he walked away.
"Well I must say, in all honesty I truly am worried" said Elihu as he turned back to look at the others once Mero was nowhere in sight.
"What worries you?" asked Luc as he raised an eyebrow at Elihu.
"Well all through out yesterday during the celebration, I was unable to get a single maiden" said Elihu and the rest started laughing.
"Do not laugh, this is a very serious matter" said Elihu.
"All my charms did not work at all" said Elihu.
"You really are not serious at all Elihu" said Zechariah as he laughed.
"I truly thought that it would be something important and not something that concerns your nonsense" said Luc as he laughed.
"Believe me, this is very important, I am concerned" said Elihu.
"I believe that woman had placed a curse of me, that is why I am not able to use my charms at all" said Elihu as he shook his head.
"I truly do think that you have better things to do, than to accuse our princess of something she never did" said Zechariah as he sighed and he shook his head.
"Yes, do you not have to train some of the troops today?" asked Luc as he looked at Elihu.
"Well yes… but I would do so at a later time in the day" said Elihu as he smiled.
"But it is true, even that beautiful maiden in the midnight blue dress did not accept my offer to dance at all" said Elihu as he sighed.
"You truly are not serious at all Elihu" said Zuph as he shook his head.
"Of course you already know that, so you have nothing against me at all" said Elihu and all the men sighed.
