"Mother??" asked Wura as she turned to look at the door of her room and she could not believe who she was seeing right now.
"Good Morrow Wura" said Ireti as she smiled and she walked closer to where Wura was sitting at her dressing table while shocked.
"Good Morrow Mother" said Wura as she smiled, she had missed her mother, she had only not seen her for four days, and yet it felt like years.
If she could Wura would have stood up and went straight to hug her mother, even though her mother did not like hugs at all.
"My dear, you look very beautiful" said Ireti as she smiled at Wura, and the two other maids bowed at Ireti and they left the room while Nora stayed in place.
"Thank you Mother" said Wura as she smiled.
"Good Morrow my lady" said Nora as she smiled and she bowed at Ireti.
"Good Morrow" said Ireti as she smiled at Nora.
"Ah, Mother, this is Nora my personal maid, and Nora that is my mother" said Wura as she smiled and she turned to look at Nora.
"It is an honour to meet you my lady" said Nora as she bowed and she smiled.
"The honour is all mine" said Ireti as she smiled at Nora, she was very appreciative of Nora, Wura was looking very radiant and well, and Ireti was happy about that.
"Mother, what are you doing here?" asked Wura as she remained in her seat as she looked at her mother's reflection in the mirror.
Her Mother looked as beautiful as ever, she was really dressed for the occasion, Ireti wore a emerald green dress that swept the floor as she moved, there was another silver mesh lining on the neckline and hem of her dress, and on her chest, there was a little embroidery that was the crest of their dukedom.
Each Duke and Duchess family had an official crest that was used to identify them, the crest was often a flower, and the crest of the Scots was a little, which was why they could also be often replied to as the House of the Lilly.
Ireti had a little silver white Lilly embroidered on the chest of her dress.
Nora was on awe, no wonder Wura was a very pretty woman, she of course had a very beautiful mother, and she was just as nice and polite as Wura was, it was no wonder why Wura was so nice, when her mother was the same way too.
"Well Wura, I came here to see you before the wedding" said Ireti, she knew that she would not have had any personal time with her daughter during the wedding, due to all the celebration that would take place.
"Oh…" said Wura.
"And where is Father?? Did he not come with you?" asked Wura as she looked at her mother's reflection in the mirror.
"Oh my dear, you know your father, he refused to come, saying that less he begin to cry before he see you" said Ireti as she rolled her eyes at her husband's behaviour, he was always too soft when it came to things that concerned Wura.
"Yes, that does sound like father" said Wura as she laughed and she shook her head, this was the first time she had laughed this morning, but she could not blame him, if she saw her father cry, then she would begin to cry as well, so it was a good thing that her father stayed behind.
"So, he will meet you at the Church" said Ireti.
"Alright then" said Wura as she smiled.
"And Aunt Tessa?" asked Wura.
"Well Wura, you know your Aunt Tessa, she insisted to come along with me" said Ireti as she smiled and she shook her head.
"But your Uncle was afraid that she would create a scene, and with her condition now, so he convinced her for them to go along with your Father and they will see you at the Church" said Ireti.
"Alright then" said Wura as she smiled, if she was going to name the strong people in her house, number one would be her mother, because nothing seemed to shake her, in fact Wura could promise you that she had never once seen her mother cry, not for anything at all, and well her father, he was the complete opposite.
And the second person would be her Uncle Richard, he was always very cold and serious, and he never spoke too much, he was a man full of wisdom, and also the only other man alive other than her father that could handle Tessa's behaviour.
"How are things at home mother?" asked Wura.
"And how are Alessia, Beatrice, and the others?" asked Wura.
"Well everything is fine" said Ireti.
"And they are all doing well, they say that they all miss you terribly" said Ireti as she smiled.
"And so do I" said Wura as she smiled.
"Well my dear, are you ready?" asked Ireti as she stepped over to where Wura was sitting and she adjusted her hair as Nora stepped back.
"Yes Mother I am" said Wura as she smiled, because what else could she say? She was speaking to her mother, and her mother was a very stern woman, which was why as much as she loved her mother, Wura just could not tell her some things that were on her mind, the things that were bothering her, because she knew that her mother's answer for everything would be ' A woman had to be strong'.
"ohun gbogbo yoo dara" said Ireti as she smiled and she adjusted Wura's hair once again.
"Everything will be alright"
"Mo, mo Mother" said Wura as she smiled
"I know Mother"
"Umm my princess, May I go and change now?" asked Nora as she looked at Wura, she had just been standing there all the while, and then Ireti and Wura changed to some strange language that she had never heard before.
"Of course you may Nora" said Wura as she smiled.
"Thank you my princess" said Nora as she bowed.
"My lady" said Nora as she bowed at Ireti and Ireti smiled and Nora left the room.
"She is a very nice girl" said Ireti as she smiled.
"Yes mother, she is, and I am very fond of her" said Wura as she smiled.
…
"Oh today is going to be the best day we have had in a while" said Luc as he smiled.
"Oh please rethink your statement Luc, because you forget that we will not be able to enjoy like the guests shall, seeing as we are put on making sure everywhere is secure, and Mero is in charge of that" said Zuph as he sighed and he shook his head, they were not going to enjoy or be merry at all with Mero being the one in charge.
"Zuph is right" said Zechariah.
"I just hate the fact that Liam is going on with this sham of a wedding" said Elihu as he grunted and he shook his head.
"You have no say here Elihu, as long as you want to wish the couple bad, It is best that you remain quiet" said Zechariah as he turned to look at Elihu who was frowning and he shook his head.
"Zechariah is right Elihu, you better not even dare think of ruining this day for Liam and for Lady Diwura" said Zuph as he gave Elihu a stern warning.
"Do you take me for some sort of tyrant?" asked Elihu as he shook his head and the rest of the men did not reply at all.
"Oh well alright, you are correct for thinking that" said Elihu and Luc shook his head and glared at him.
"But no need to worry, I will do nothing of that sort today" said Elihu.
"I will leave the couple be, if Liam wants to sell his life to a witch, then I will let him be" said Elihu as he shrugged.
"Do not let Mero catch you saying such nonsense, because he will surely punish you" said Luc.
"How can you call our future queen a witch?" asked Zuph.
"It is treason to say such against the princess" said Zechariah as he shook his head.
"Well it is whatever you think of it" said Elihu as he did not seem to care at all.
"Ugh" said Luc as he rolled his eyes, he could not believe Elihu right now.
"Well anyway, has anyone seen Liam??" asked Zuph.
"I believe that he and his Majesty have left for the Church already" said Zechariah.
"Then in that case we must move to the Church as well" said Zuph.
"No Zuph, you forget Mero's orders, we are ordered to stay here and follow behind the Princess's Carriage" said Luc.
"Oh yes, I did forget" said Zuph.
"I wonder what is taking the princess so long?" asked Zuph.
"Well I do not know, she is the bride after all" said Luc.
…
"Well Wura, I will be on my way now, I need to get to the Church and see your father before the service commences" said Ireti.
"Alright Mother" said Wura as she smiled.
"I shall see you soon my dear" said Ireti as she smiled.
"See you mother" said Wura as she smiled and Ireti left the room.
A few minutes Later Nora walked back into Wura's room.
"My princess" said Nora as she walked behind Wura and Wura's eyes lit up as she saw Nora's reflection behind her.
"Nora, you look very beautiful, Lillia really did make this dress well" said Wura as she smiled.
"You flatter me my princess" said Nora as she bowed her head down due to embarrassment.
Nora wore a midnight blue dress with long puffy sleeves and a short slit in the gown, Nora's hair was nightly packed into a bun, with a few strands of her hair purposely left to fall gently on the side of her face, Nora simply looked radiant, and her natural beauty showed.
"Of course I do, because you deserve it" said Wura as she smiled, Nora looked very beautiful.
"You look very beautiful Nora" said Wura as she smiled.
"Thank you my princess" said Nora.
"And I just want to say thank you again for making me this dress my princess" said Nora as she smiled.
"You are welcome Nora, you deserve it after you have been so nice to me" said Wura as she smiled.
"But my princess, I have a question" said Nora as she looked up.
"You may ask it" said Wura as she smiled.
"My princess, how did you know my measurements?" asked Nora as she was curious, the dress fit her perfectly, and as far as she knew Wura had not measured her.
"Ahh, well my dear Nora, I figured that we had about the same measurements, so I just asked Lilia to use my own measurements" said Wura as she smiled, she could also sew, so she had an idea of people's measurements.
"Oh, that makes sense my princess" said Nora as she smiled, this question had been bothering her for a while now.
"Yes" said Wura as she laughed at the relieved expression on Nora's face, she laughed because Nora probably thought that she was a witch, but Wura would not dare say that, because it might make Nora feel scared once again.
"My princess, shall we get going to the Church now?" asked Nora.
"Oh, well ye Nora, let us go" said Wura as she sighed internally.
"Alright my princess" said Nora as she bowed and she smiled.
