"My princess…" said Nora as she did know what to say at all, Wura had left her completely tongue tied.
"You do not have to say anything at all Nora" said Wura as she smiled at Nora sweetly.
"You have a right too, so I will not force you, you can go now" said Wura.
Nora was relieved, she was put in a tough spot by Wura, and she wondered why Wura was like this, not that it was a bad thing at all, but it only made her feel a bit uncomfortable that was all, she was not used to being treated equal like this with anyone, and especially with the princess.
"Thank you my princess" said Nora as she sighed a sigh of relief, as she was relieved that she did not have to say anything more.
"You are welcome Nora" said Wura as she smiled at her.
"I will see you tomorrow, so have a goodnight, and sweet dreams" said Wura as she smiled.
"Thank you my princess" said Nora a she stood up and she bowed briefly and she left the room.
Wura sighed, she was back to being alone… once again, and was it just her, or was her room even hotter than before??
She felt as if she was being roasted like a chicken in the oven, she was sure that the temperature was increased in her room, and she did not know why.
Oh wait, she knew why, that prince must have not listened to her at all, and he must have ordered that the heat to her room be increased, well that was just great, now she would sweat, what sort of Prince was he, gosh, Wura was so annoyed right now.
Wura sighed as she got off her bed and she walked to the window in her room, she looked down, and she could see the vast forest that was not totally covered with snow as it began to snow once again.
Wura was tired of all the snow and the cold, but they still had a long while to go before spring came along, and as much as she was tired of the winter, she was ready to wait for when all the snow would finally melt, and the sun would shine, and the flowers would begin to blossom.
Wura looked down out of the window, she could see some guards moving and she closed the window with the curtain and she went back to her bed, she laid in her bed and she sighed, she remembered that the wedding invitations were sent out already.
She was sure that her family had already received their own invitation, she was sure that her Aunt Tessa would already be planning on making new dresses and clothes for everyone, and her main excuse would be
that her clothes no longer fit her, and that they needed to all look good on that day.
And believe Wura, she knew Tessa well, Tessa had used that same excuse on her before, and Wura found it funny how her Aunt could use the same excuse over and over again, and still thinking that It would work.
Wura smiled as she closed her eyes, memories of her family would keep her sane, as she was very lonely in this place, in fact she was only looking forward to the wedding, because she would finally be able to see her family again.
…
Liam sighed as he closed some documents, after dinner he had decided to work a bit on some important matters, and so he was went to his office to work, while he made sure that his father had gone to bed early.
Liam yawned, he was really busy today, with the wedding preparations and all, and on top of that he was secretly investigating what was going on in the north and east respectively, because quite frankly, you could never truly trust those who you thought you could trust.
"I wonder if they will give me any feedback" said Liam to himself as he sighed and he rubbed his eyes and then he remembered someone in particular that made him smile.
"And I also wonder if she likes the heat in her room" said Liam to himself as he laughed, he was sure that there was no way that Wura would fight him for innocently ordering that the heat in her room be increased, just in case she feels cold and wears her coat inside her room again.
Although Liam could not understand himself, he considered himself being very childish, since when would he of all people decide to play with a maiden like a child, because that was what he was doing right now with Wura was nothing other than childish.
In fact they got on each other's nerves like children, they liked to do that, and Liam did not know why, he loved to see an annoyed expression on her face, and he was sure that she felt the same about him too, although she still did think that he was a womanizing scoundrel.
Liam found that very funny, it seemed that he and Elihu had switched places, he was sure that Wura should have met Elihu first, and then her judgment would be right, and she could be as angry with Elihu as she wanted to be.
"Enter" said Liam as he heard a knock on his office door.
"Good Evening Liam" said Mero as he walked into Liam's office.
"Ahhh Good Evening Mero" said Liam as he smiled as he looked at Mero.
"What brings you here this fine evening??" asked Liam as he gestured that Mero sit down, and Mero did sit down.
"Well I was in this part of the Castle, and I wanted to check if you were still here" said Mero.
"I did not expect you to still be here at this time of the night" said Mero.
"Well Mero, I had some things to take care of" said Liam as he smiled and he stood up from his desk and he walked to the couch and Mero followed after him.
"I received my invitation earlier today" said Mero as he sat down after Liam sat down.
"Oh, well that is good, it means that everyone else in the kingdom has received their invitation too" said Liam as he sighed.
"Mhmm" said Liam as he looked around.
"Are you really sure that you want to go on with this??" asked Mero as he looked at Liam carefully.
"Mero, you sound like you do not know me" said Liam as he laughed.
"Well I do know you Liam, I know you well" said Mero as that was a fact, he knew Liam and the both of them were as close s brothers.
"And do I look like I am not sure??" asked Liam.
"Well…" said Mero as he hesitated to speak.
"Come on Mero, speak up" said Liam.
"Have I ever not been sure of a single move that I have made in my entire life" said Liam.
"Well, No" said Mero as he finally replied.
"You see, so you already have the answer to what you are asking me" said Liam.
"Of course I am sure of what I am doing, I am more than sure" said Liam as he laughed.
"Liam you know that I do not doubt you, I never doubt you at all" said Mero.
"But think of your future, are you willing and ready to spend the rest of your life with a woman that you do not love, and does not love you back?" asked Mero as he spoke to Liam with all seriousness, he did not want his brother to fall into a problem because he did not think things through.
"Mero, I am not getting married out of Love at all" said Liam.
"Then what are you getting married for??" asked Mero as he could not understand.
"I am getting married out of duty, duty to my father, and duty to the Kingdom as the Prince and future King, the Kingdom needs a queen, and Wura is the most suitable woman" said Liam, he had never for once decided to get married to any woman out of Love, he felt like Love was a burden and not a blessing.
"Liam I am sure that if your father knew the true reason you are marrying Wura, he would not approve" said Mero.
"And the only reason he would know, is if someone tells him, and we both know who that someone is" said Liam as he looked at Mero and he smiled.
"And that someone only has loyalty to you" said Mero as he looked at Liam.
"But he also wants to make sure that you are aware of what you are getting yourself into, you would not only harm yourself, but also Lady Diwura too" said Mero.
"I do not plan to harm anyone, believe me, I am aware of what I am getting myself into" said Liam.
"Alright then Liam, if you say so" said Mero as he sighed, he had done his part, and the rest was left up to Liam to decide on his next course of action.
