Wura looked at Liam and Liam looked back at Wura, Wura was looking at him because she had no idea at all of how the wedding preparations were going at all, she thought that Liam was the one that was handling them, so why was he looking at her then??
"*Ahem*" said Liam as he cleared his throat and he stopped looking at Wura.
"The wedding preparations are well underway" said Liam as he turned to look at his father.
"The invitations are almost done and ready to be sent out to every family in the Kingdom" said Liam.
"Alright" said Alaric as the wedding was in less than four days, which meant in less than four days he would have a new daughter, and his mind would finally be at ease once Liam had a wife by his side.
"Everything thing else is settles except for…" said Liam.
"Except for what??" asked Alaric.
"Except for Lady Diwura's wedding dress" said Liam.
Wura looked up, she really was not serious, she had forgotten the fact that weddings involved wedding dresses, and she had not thought about that at all.
"Oh really??" asked Alaric.
"Yes father, but the Seamstress shall come to the Castle today for her measurements, which is why I require her to come to my office with me after breakfast for her to choose the style of wedding dress that she wants" said Liam.
"Oh well alright then, it seems that you have everything under control my boy" said Alaric as he smiled.
"Yes I do father" said Liam.
"So my dear, what do you envision for your wedding dress??" asked Alaric as he turned to look at Wura.
"Because, you will of course be the most beautiful bride in the Kingdom" said Alaric as he smiled.
"I am flattered your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled.
"But I truly do not have an idea of what I envision" said Wura.
"Not to worry, the seamstress has provided some designs that you may choose from" said Liam as he spoke up.
"Oh alright" said Wura as she was relieved at least now she did not have to worry of giving her preferences to the seamstress.
"I believe that I will have an idea once I see the designs" said Wura as she smiled at Alaric.
"Alright my dear" said Alaric as he smiled.
"I truly cannot wait for the wedding" said Alaric as he smiled, he was excited, because the sooner Liam and Wura got married the sooner he could have Grandchildren.
"Father you seem too excited for this" said Liam as he turned to look at his Father, who he was still upset with.
"Of course I am, here I was believing that I would be long gone before you finally got married" said Alaric.
"But my dear Diwura just had to come into the picture and raise my hopes once more" said Alaric as he smiled and Wura smiled.
"Well father, you should thank Lady Diwura for thinking that I am a womanizing Scoundrel for marrying me" said Liam as he scoffed to himself.
"You see my dear, this one can be very wild" said Alaric.
"Oh?? Is that so??" asked Wura as she laughed.
"I always thought that he looked rather gentle" said Wura as she laughed, she truly did think that Liam looked like a gentle man, and not a gentleman.
"Oh well my dear he only looks and acts like that now, but he can be rather wild if he desires to be" said Alaric as he laughed.
Liam sighed, how did this turn into the both of them talking about him?? It seemed like his father had being waiting for someone else to talk with besides him, which made Liam upset, was he that boring to be around for his own father to feel rejuvenated while talking with someone else for a change?
"In a way I can believe you your Majesty" said Wura as she laughed, after all she could not believe that Liam was a womanizer not until with his horrible display of treating women like objects the first she had met him, which reminded her that she had been nice to him, which was a mistake.
"Oh, my dear" said Alaric as he laughed.
Breakfast went by smoothly with Alaric and Wura talking about Liam, and Liam was just silently eating and watching the two of them talk about him.
"Well breakfast was livelier with you my dear, but I must be going now" said Alaric as he smiled.
"Alright your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled.
"Father you say it as if you have been confined to a single space all this time" said Liam as he looked at his father and he shook his head.
"Oh my boy you sound jealous" said Alaric as he stood up and he laughed and patted Liam on his back.
"I am not" said Liam and Wura laughed.
"Regardless I will leave the two of you alone now, my boy see me in my office later in the day, and my dear please enjoy your day" said Alaric.
"And the same to you your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled and Alaric smiled at her as he walked his way, leaving the two of them alone in the Dining room.
"I think that your father likes me" said Wura as she smiled.
"More than I would like" said Liam to himself.
"That is just how he is" said Liam as he cleared his throat and he wiped his mouth with a napkin.
"Are you done eating??" asked Liam as he turned to look at Wura.
"Well, yes" said Wura
"Alright then" said Liam.
"Let us go to my office, for you to choose your wedding dress design" said Liam as he stood up.
"Alright" said Wura as she pushed out her chair and she stood up and she followed after Liam as they walked out of the dining room into the hall.
It seemed that for these past days all Wura had been doing was following after Liam, and she did not like the fact that she always had to wait for him to guide her like some sort of child, she was independent and she did not need him at all.
Wura followed Liam as he led her to a part of the Castle she had never been to before, not like she even knew how big the Castle actually was, every time she was here she saw something different.
Liam walked through a corridor to a path of stairs that led up and Wura was behind him, Wura concluded that they were walking through one of the many towers of the Castle.
Once Liam reached the end of the stairs it was not long before they walked a while more and he opened a door to a particular room, and he opened the door for Wura to pass by before he did, and he closed the door behind them.
"Please sit" said Liam as he gestured that Wura sit down and she sat down across his desk and he sat down across her.
"These are the designs that the seamstress was able to come up with, you can just choose one that best suits you" said Liam as he brought out a parchment that was covered with a cloth from his drawer and he handed it to Wura.
"Alright" said Wura as she collected the parchment and she removed the cloth from it, Liam had covered it because he did not want to see the designs, he wanted to be surprised on that day.
"Do you see one that you like?" asked Liam.
"Well… Well it is hard to choose; these all seem like my preferences said Wura as she looked up at Liam.
"How did you know my preferences??" asked Wura as she eyed Liam suspiciously, these designs were too oddly specific for her, as if he knew her taste.
"Sadly I do not" said Liam.
"I asked for the help of your mother to narrow down the designs to just three for you to choose from" said Liam.
"You did??" asked Wura as she was shocked, she did not know that Liam could have done something like that?? Asking her mother to help with her preferences.
"Thank you" said Wura as that was all she could say, she never thought that Liam could have gone that far just for her to be comfortable.
"You are welcome, so have you decided on one yet?" asked Liam.
"Ahhh, yes" said Wura as she looked back down.
"I have chosen one" said Wura.
"Well alright then, the Seamstress will be here soon, and you can show her the design you chose" said Liam as he sighed.
"Alright I will" said Wura, her heart was beating quickly, never did she imagine the day that she would be choosing her wedding dress, and also in the weirdest possible way, since she and Liam obviously had a weird atmosphere between them, due to what Alaric had said earlier.
