"*Yawn*" said Wura as she yawned.
"Good Lord my dear, this is the fourth time you have yawned this morning alone, are you alright my dear???" asked Tessa as she looked at Wura in worry.
"Oh Aunt, I am sorry" said Wura as she yawned again as she was setting the dining table for breakfast, she looked very tired.
"My dear, you look very tired, why do you not let me set the table??" asked Tessa.
"No no Aunt, I can do it" said Wura as she tapped her cheeks lightly as she placed the plate on the table, in an attempt to keep herself awake.
"I had arrived very late yesterday Aunt" said Wura, she came back home late, and on top of that, she could promise you that she spent more than thirty minutes trying to get herself out of that dress alone, and it did not help that she was very tired.
"The Prince ended up taking me on a journey across the entire kingdom" said Wura as she yawned once again as she set her father's place at the table.
"Good Lord Wura, that sounds tedious" said Tessa as she looked alarmed.
"Oh it was Aunt, it was" said Wura.
"And on top of that, I had dinner with his Majesty" said Wura.
"*Gasp*You did??" asked Tessa as she gasped, she never expected this, this was the last thing she wanted to hear, and not because it was a bad thing, but because it was unbelievable, and at this point, Wura was basically the Prince's wife already.
"Yes Aunt I did" said Wura as she set the glasses on the table.
"My dear, so how was dinner with his Majesty??" asked Tessa.
"Was it scary??? Was he scary, did you feel uncomfortable??" asked Tessa as she began to bombard Wura with questions.
Being the daughter of a duke, she had been privileged enough to have dinner with the King at least once or twice in her lifetime and she had thought of the King as a simple man, who loved his people, and they loved him back too.
However, Tessa was sure that his son was far from that, well with the report Wura had given her about the Prince's attitude, and him being a scoundrelous womanizer.
"Well Aunt, I did not feel any of the above" said Wura.
"His Majesty was very polite, and kind, and easy going, he never once made be feel uncomfortable or scared, and he was always smiling" said Wura as she smiled.
"To be honest Aunt, it felt more like I was talking with father, rather than the King" said Wura.
"Oh my dear, that is a very good thing, it is best you are comfortable with him" said Tessa.
"He is going to be your father in law soon" said Tessa as she smiled.
"Father in law???" said Wura to herself, that word scared Wura, her mind had not thought that deep, but in the end Tessa was speaking the truth.
"Yes Aunt, I guess as much" said Wura.
"So my dear, tell me, what are your thoughts on the Prince?" asked Tessa as regardless of what Wura said, she stood up and she picked up the cutlery and she began to set them on the table as she wanted to help Wura.
"What do you mean Aunt?" asked Wura as she looked up at Tessa.
"I mean what do you think of him now, have your thoughts towards him changed??" asked Tessa.
"Have my thoughts changed???" asked Wura to herself, to tell the truth she did not know at all, one moment she despised him, and the next she was starting to like him just a little bit.
She had found out that he was an unpredictable man, his actions spoke louder than his words, he loved horses, and so did Wura, and most of all, he was a man had had great respect for his father, he had a bright smile, and his men were very loyal to him... all except for Elihu which Wura did not like at all.
But regardless of all these semi good qualities that Wura knew of him, she was not sure of him at all, after all her first meeting of him painted him as a womanizer.
Even though now that Wura thought about it, he had never forced himself on her, she was in a carriage, which was a confined space, with him for almost an entire day and he had never once overstepped his boundaries, and try to move closer to her.
In fact he had always sat across her in order not to make her feel uncomfortable, and then came the question, did her thoughts change towards him??
"No... No Aunt" said Wura.
"My thoughts have not changed at all" she said.
"In fact they remain the same" she said.
"Aww my dear, I thought that by now you would have started to get along with the Prince" said Tessa.
"No Aunt..." said Wura
"Besides, I expect nothing less or nothing more from him, I have already accepted my fate, and nothing can change my mind" said Wura.
"My dear, you are too stubborn" said Tessa as she sighed and Wura just smiled.
"Good Morrow Wura, Tessa" said Lawrence as he walked into the dining room.
"Good Morrow Father" said Wura as she smiled.
"Good Morrow brother" said Tessa as she smiled.
"What is for breakfast today??" asked Lawrence as he sat down at the head of the dining table.
"Well Mother decided to prepare breakfast today" said Wura as she laughed.
"Ahh my dear, I hope that your mother's cooking will not be the death of me" said Lawrence as he laughed.
"Oh brother, if that was so, I would have died along with you a long time ago" said Tessa as she laughed and Wura and Lawrence laughed.
"Breakfast is served" said Ireti as she entered the dining room with a dish, and Beatrice followed behind her with another dish, and at that same time Richard entered the dining room.
"Oh finally Reti, I was starving already" said Tessa as she at back down, and Richard sat next to her.
"You would not die from some waitng Tessa" said Ireti as she laughed.
"Oh believe me Reti, I would" said Tessa as she laughed.
Wura began to dish the food for everyone all except for Tessa, since Richard had took it upon himself to dish all her meals ever since she got pregnant, when Wura was done serving the food, she sat down on her seat.
"This looks delicious my dear" said Lawrence as he smiled and looked at Ireti.
"Thank you" said Ireti as she smiled and Wura yawned.
