"Good, it seems that the ingredients were already brought over," she said as she checked the contents of the kitchen.
Every thursday, a helper would come to clean and restock the place.
And then by Saturday or Sunday, if they chose to stay for the night, another helper will come to clean and get the left overs.
Sometimes they would call for the helper on Monday since they stayed for the weekend.
With that she begun her preparation.
Some seafood soup.
Some marinated meat.
Some noodles.
It was a variety of food that she learned to cook all through out the years of being married.
Admittedly she can cook in the past but it was to the bare minimum that most of the cooking were left to them.
This time she was happy she could actually cook for them.
At 5 minutes before 7 pm, she heard a car arriving.
"Good thing I am done with some and almost done with the rest."
Even the fruits were already peeled and sliced.
She really did prepare everything by herself.
"Alexander? Dexter? Is it you guys?"
She was in the kitchen and she heard someone call.
With only two names being called, she knew two of them have arrived together.
And those two are none other than Aldger and Hunter.
And yes, the people she wants to meet tonight were her brothers.
As for being disowned?
It was obviously a lie.
For the back story? Maybe some other time.
For now, she will enjoy the feeling of meeting the people whom she cut off completely in her first life, when they loved her so much.
"Woah you have already cooked quite a lot," one called out, his voice has a tinge of playfulness.
"What has gotten into you? Didn't we agree that it will be us who will cook?" another spoke with a tinge of seriousness.
"Can't I cook once in a while for my dear brothers?"
She finally stepped out of the kitchen and spoke.
One was on his way to the door while another just pinched on the still warm meat.
The two of them looked at her and shock was registered on both their eyes.
The one pinching on the meat has medium length wavy hair that was a bit messy due to the wind.
He was on his white shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbow, with two buttons on top unbuttoned.
He obviously came from the office.
The one on his way to the kitchen has medium length hair on top while the sides were shaved with a clean look.
He was on his black shirt tucked in his blue jeans.
The two of them have the same platinum blond hair as her but their eyes have a darker shade of gray.
More like black gray.
The two of them have a bit of similarities in their faces but their bodies were the one that tells them comepletely apart.
The one on black shirt was bulkier than the one on office attire.
One has tanned skin while the other has fairer skin.
Heather smiled at them, she still didn't know how to approach them for it has been so long since she had seen them.
For her at the very least, since it was just a year for them when she told them not to meet with her for the time being.
She looked at the one closest to her, "Hunter?"
Then the one on the dinning table, "Aldger?"
Indeed, the two of them are none other than Hunter Relish and Aldger Relish, the twins of the Relish Family that is reigning over the wine industry in the country.
One of the best businesses out there that they are among the top families of the country.
Hunter Relish being the first born among the two has a cold demeanor outside the family, he was one of the best marksman of the police force of the country.
Aldger Relish being the second born and the youngest among the brothers, was the one who inherited the company. Receiving the talent of the tongue that could distinguish a wine with just a sip.
Both of them are now 25 years of age, two years older than Heather.
"Am I seeing things Hunter?" Aldger asked his twin.
"Then am I seeing things as well?" Hunter asked in his serious tone.
"Uhmmm I think you guys are not seeing things. I really am here, am I no longer allowed?" Heather asked.
"NO WAY!!!"
Aldger shouted before rushing to hug her tightly.
"Why did you only come now? We followed your wishes but a year was still a year. After marriage you just decided that we should stop all contact. Why? Do you know how worried we were? Have you any idea just how much we mmpphphhh."
"Let her breath, you're squishing her."
Heather finally got the chance to breath when Hunter stepped in and covered Aldger's mouth before pulling him away.
Something he so easily did because of their body built.
Heather looked at Hunter.
He looked at her and sighed before walking over and giving her a hug as well.
"You really worried us a lot," he said patting her head.
They stepped away from one another and smiled.
"I'm really-"
Before she could finish her sentence, she was pulled into another hug.
"I really am not seeing things, my baby sister is here. She has come."
It was Dexter Relish, a lawyer at the age of 26.
One of the top with 90 percent of his case being won by him.
90 percent because he included the none official loses he had against his granduncle who was known to be the best lawyer of the century, winning all of his cases.
But in reality, Dexter never lost a case outside of the so called battles with his grand uncle.
Cold and harsh within court but as playful as Aldger outside of court.
His hair was medium length styled with wax, his eyeglasses still being on his face meaning he just came out of court.
Whenever he was outside, he would leave his hair in its messy cool look and would wear contacts instead of glasses.
"Yes, I have Dexter, you are just like Aldger, I can't breath."
"I am amazed you still know how to come here," another voice butted in.
He has the same medium length hair as Hunter, with the sides shaved off.
Alexander Relish.
He was a renowned doctor despite only being 28, saving lives left and right to the point of being called a godly doctor.
His hands were fast and could determine the illness with just a glance to the test results, with even the slightest deviation from the right numbers.
Something not most doctors could do.
He could even determine some illness with just a look on the physical appearance of the patient.
Heather looked at him with a little pout.
Alexander smiled gently, something rarely seen outside before he walked over and gave her a hug.
"Welcome home," he said.
The other three smiled and walked over to have a group hug.
This was the truth of the matter.
Heather Relish, thought to be disowned was never disowned.
Her staying away and being disowned was something she herself had asked her family.
They were completely against it but she was determined to live a life outside of their family.
Outside of the Relish name.
The reality was that she was still the beloved princess of Relish Family.
Feeling their warmth she once again couldn't stop her tears.
It has been so long, very very long since she got the chance to hug them all.
The brothers who would do anything just to protect her.
Gaining reputation of their respective fields just so no one would bully her no matter what.
But she chose to forgo everything and to live differently.
Even pushing them away with the thought that she wouldn't be accepted even more by her husband if she has such a powerful backing.
Because Amanda Porter chose her as the wife due to the fact that she had the thought that she was no longer disowned back then.
It was the truth behind the scenes because she was never disowned but during that time they were still keeping up the act that Heather Relish was disowned.
When Amanda found out that that was still the case, she stopped bothering with Heather but she didn't allow divorce.
Heather knew the reason behind it.
Because the heart is stronger than the mind.
A fact that will never change.
"You have become thinner."
While on tears, they let her go and Alexander cupped her cheek.
"I can gain the fats back," she replied.
She hugged him again, "I missed you guys, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for everything. I have nothing else to say than to apologize for being so willful over and over again."
The second time that she cried so much in a day.
It took their everything to calm her down again.
"You cooked all this?" Alexander asked looking at the table filled with food.
They were placed in a self reheating plate allowing it to stay warm despite the time that passed.
Heather nodded, "I though I should cook as my apology."
She just came out of the kitchen with the rest of the dishes she had cooked.
"There are even fruits," Alexander chuckled.
Among the five of them, he was the one who really loves every fruit out there.
"And there's cake," Dexter came out of the kitchen with the cake on his hand.
It was a mango flavored one, his favorite.
Aldger and Hunter smiled when they saw the seafood.
Their favorite was the different types of seafood.
She had bought all of their favorites and she never forgot.
