She will go out today and buy the clothes that she wanted.
Slacks, jeans, shirts, blouses and jackets.
Yes, Heather was not the dress type of girl.
She'd rather use clothes where she can move freely.
Sometimes she would even wear T shirts that are two sizes bigger than her size, together with some big jackets or hoodies.
"The freedom from my stupid thoughts. I will surely savor it now."
Then she looked at her hair, it was black.
The lower half was straight and the upper half was a bit wavy, close to having the big curls.
During this time, she really has so little money to continue having her hair straightened.
She only has money for coloring it to black.
Since she was acting as Susan, she even went and had her wavy platinum blond hair colored to black and straightened out.
There were even some contact lenses to cover her gray eyes.
"I really did put a lot of effort into this. But thinking back, why did I presume that he fell for her black and straight hair?"
With a shake of her head, she took all the contact lenses and threw them away.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, whose gray eyes are the most beautiful of them all," she joked looking at her reflection.
She blinked at the mirror before laughing, "Ursula surely is a weird octopus, always asking the mirror when the answer had always been obvious that Ariel was the fairest."
She started humming as she continued cleaning up her vanity table, she really was in a good mood now.
Minutes later she stopped her movements and a curious frown appeared on her beautiful face.
"Was the mirror a part of the little mermaid?"
Thinking about it for a minute, she shrugged before she continued humming, throwing makeup after make-up on the trash bag.
At the same time, throwing the mirror, Ursula and Ariel out of her mind.
Looking at the make ups piling up on the trash bag she shook her head in amazement towards her first life self.
Since teenage years, powder and lip gloss were the only things she placed on her face.
Other than that, there was none.
She can do it if she wanted to but she was too lazy to really try.
At the same time, applying makeup will make her face itchy after a few hours of it being left in her face.
Might be because she was not used to it but at the same time, she really has no liking towards it.
On the other hand, even though Susan was a simple lady, she was still fond of using light make ups.
Because of this simple reason, Heather chose to buy make ups and apply them from time to time.
Yet up to the day of her death, she didn't fall in love with it. She still chose to have her face bare whenever she goes out.
She once again shook her head after she threw the last bottle of makeup.
Then she looked up in the mirror.
Seeing as the wavy part of her hair has already reached below her shoulder, she knew where to go first upon going out.
She was humming happily as she went down.
The villa was a three floor building. The second floor was where Cyrus' room and study room are located while her's was on the third floor.
Obviously Cyrus wouldn't like to stay in one room or even on the same floor as her and so their current arrangement.
She glanced at the second floor before shrugging, it looked like a ghost floor for Cyrus barely stayed there.
In the span of one year of their marriage, he only stayed there for about thirty days.
And those thirty days were not consecutive.
After giving it a look she continued walking down with light steps.
Thankfully, in her wardrobe, she found some leggings and a long blue blouse, which reached her thigh, matching it with canvas white shoes.
This was better than wearing a maxi dress.
"Good morning aunt Amelia," she greeted the one and only maid in this place.
After her "mother-in-law" found out that she was still disowned, she had pulled out most of the maids and left only one.
Amelia was a fifty year old lady, she was single and had no plans on having a family of her own.
She does most of the work but from time to time, Heather chose to cook as well.
Though that was before she returned, as for this time, if she felt like it then she will try but she won't deliberately make things difficult for herself anymore.
All the effort she placed on this, she could still clearly remember them. Just because she wanted to cook something for Cyrus once he gets home.
But nope, Cyrus never tasted it.
He comes home very late and leaves very early when he does have the chance to return.
Most of the time, he would eat and sleep outside of this forsaken villa.
Forsaken for it does not have the feeling of being a home.
Even though it stood at Everlasting Park, where the most expensive villas stood, the place was gloomy and cold.
Expensive indeed but there was no life to it at all. A place you wouldn't dare call home.
Amelia was shocked to hear a different cheerful greeting from her.
Heather had always greeted her with gentleness and a lady-like tone. At first she could tell that it was not a greeting that Heather was used to but very slowly this lady-like tone of hers started becoming pleasant to her ears.
This showed that despite being disowned, Heather was a pure blooded noble lady where she can easily learn the do's and don'ts of a lady if she really tried.
But this time, it seems like it was a cheerful and free one.
She didn't feel that it didn't match Heather at all but instead no matter how she got used to the lady-like tone, this current tone suited her voice even more.
And when she looked up, she was shocked to see that even the way she dresses was different.
She was even stunned to the point where she couldn't get her eyes away from Heather's appearance.
Heather was a beauty that is the truth.
It was not the heaven defying one where most people would want to fall for her but instead it was the beauty that one wouldn't feel tired of looking at.
As compared to the beauties that one will see and be mesmerized with but would eventually get tired of, Heather's beauty would allow one to feel calm and at peace.
"Good morning aunt Amelia," Heather greeted again, seeing as the auntie was staring at her blankly.
"G- Good morning my lady. I- It seems you woke up differently today," Amelia replied, finally snapping out of her shock.
Heather stretched her arms upward before flashing a beautiful smile, showing even her white teeth. Then she walked over the dining table where the food was already prepared.
"Let's just say, I really did wake up differently."
The smile she showed left Amelia in another daze only snapping out when she was already sitting by the table.
The smile she flashed made Amelia feel that the sun had shone down on her.
Looking at her face without the acting she had been doing will make one feel calm.
Then when she smiled in such a way, the gloominess in one's heart would dissipate. That was what Amelia felt just now.
The changes in Heather surely brought not a negative vibe but a super positive one instead, making Amelia think that she'd rather face this person than the one who was like a doll in the past year.
Heather started eating and as compared to her usual demure eating, she was eating without a care of her look.
As she ate, she started thinking about the things that happened during this time.
She can remember that she had pestered him in coming home for some celebration for their first year anniversary.
She chuckled bitterly, he hated her but she still wished to celebrate with him? What kind of wishful thinking was that?
Heather was sure of one thing, her confidence is truly at a terrifying level that she can request those things despite knowing what he thinks of her and what he feels about her.
"Oh and by the way, I have placed clothes on a plastic bag in my room. If you have people you know of, who have the same size as me, you can give it to them. If there is none then you can donate them. I won't be using them anymore," she informed the still wondering Amelia.
Though confused, Amelia agreed.
The two of them weren't close.
Nope not in the eight years that she was married to Cyrus.
They were simply coexisting in this cold villa doing their work for the day.
But Heather knew Amelia was a kind soul, so this time, she plans on befriending her.
