"Veda, make sure to lock"
Aria warned her friend who was sitting on the couch with laptop on her lap. "I know" Veda replied. Focusing on the screen fully as her friend rolled her eyes along with an exhausted sigh. "Come lock the door from inside then. Both me and my mom aren't going to be at home"
Aria alerted. "All right! Take care of yourself and aunty!" Without even observing back at her friend, Veda replied. Annoying the young woman wholly. "This little bitch.." Aria mumbled out of vexation. "Come here right now or else I am fucking up your night!" She shouted.
Finally causing Veda to let out a sigh of exhaustion. "Coming!" She stood up from the couch. Heading to the door where her friend was at. "Listen carefully, do not even unlock the door unless me or my mom send the secret code" Aria warned. Making her friend let out a sigh.
"Got it, Miss Aria. Now, go enjoy your family time with your parents and grandparents. Don't concern about me even a bit. Stay there till you are pleased. I am fine with myself alone" Veda declared in independence. Revealing her courage to stand on her own.
Her words somehow made Aria want to hug her friend. But also at the same time, she required to taunt the young woman for bottling up and acting like she could do everything on her own without anyone. "Shut your fucking mouth. Make sure to call me every hour"
Aria ordered, authoritatively.
Managing to make Veda let out a chuckle. "Every hour is too much. I will call you before I go to sleep and once again when I wake up" The young woman rearranged. She could see the fact that her friend was not overreacting but was worried to leave her alone behind.
At last, Aria could do nothing. She nodded in approval helplessly. "Don't forget though. Or else I will come back right away just to beat your ass" With a serious expression on, she threatened her friend. Tickling Veda even more so that a giggle escaped between her lips.
"Take care of yourself and your mother on the trip. Notify me when you arrive there also" The young woman requested along with a tiny beam. Earning a nod back from her friend as understanding. "Will do" "Then see you" They two bid farewell. And the door shut.
Aria Scarlet decided to spend the holidays with her mother in hometown back. Since Aria's father worked at somewhere else far from her and her mother, they three would always gather at grandparents' house to meet on the holidays every seven months.
"I should change my name when she comes back" Veda mumbled after sitting back down on the couch. Aria had yet to help her with switching her identity because of some tough situations and issues. As the young woman settled down peacefully, the doorbell rang.
Echoing the house.
Out of blue sound surprised Veda. Causing her to flinch a bit since she did not expect it at all. She turned her back to stare at the door from afar. Who rang the doorbell? Veda frowned. If she was right, the place she was living in was safe and sound. No one could find out.
Thoughts commenced to send shivers down to the young woman's spine. She put the laptop back on the table from her lap. Once again, she headed to the door with full of awareness. "Tell the code to pass through the door!" In a tough copied tone, Veda commanded.
Attempting to trick the person. She purposely said the one from other side of door to speak the code to see if it was her friend, Aria Scarlet who came back to get something back since she could probably left behind. No response came up from the outside for nearly ten seconds.
Confusing Veda. Was she being haunted by ghost right now? Impossible! Or was it some random kids pranking her to have fun? Many conclusions were made up just in a split second. Quietly, the young woman waited for the notification to pop up on her phone screen.
Believing it was not her friend outside the door for sure. However, Veda's phone lighted up with a notification. The id clearly showed the name of Aria Scarlet. It was the moment Veda's eyes widened in surprise. She promptly opened the chat. Only to see secret code.
"Oh my, it is her"
Without any more doubt, the young woman decided to open the door in view of the fact that no one would send the correct secret code from exact same phone number of Aria Scarlet. Or so that's what Veda believed. She unlocked the door. Not knowing the future ahead.
As soon as the young woman swung open the door, the sight of two men in suits showed up. The guns inside their grasps were aiming at her already. Leaving her with no options but to freeze at the right spot in pure shock. She literally just picked the wrong decision.
She chose the worst choice ever in her life. "Fuck" Veda cursed under her breath as soon as one of the men pointed the gun right on her forehead while another man struck the side of her neck like a lightning before she could react even. Like that, Veda lost consciousness.
"We have captured the target" The man informed through earbud. Dragging the young woman onto car without anyone noticing since it was tranquil evening. They all headed to somewhere else which was far beyond the main city. The whole time, Veda was unconscious.
Having no clue about the road way nor no idea of where she had been taken to. "Boss ordered us to tie her up in the basement" One of the men declared when the young woman was being dragged out of the car. The location appeared like a household of wealthy person.
"Got it"
The men passed the young woman to others. Letting them do as their Boss's order. They brought Veda into basement hurriedly after notifying their Boss about Veda's arrival. They tied her with chains on each wrist from above to make it seem as if she was a punching bag.
"She looks pretty hot" One of the men who was tying the young woman, stated. Glancing up and down of Veda's body easily since she was wearing a dark blue nightgown. "Focus. Boss will murder you if you dare to touch his prey" Another man warned with a tightened frown.
Causing the man to roll his eyes. "I know. I am just saying fact about how this young woman looks sexy" He claimed. "Shut up already" Another man responded in annoyance. Finished setting up Veda in a position which their Boss required. "Let's get out then"
The two men walked out of the basement. Soon enough later, the man in all black suit stepped in. His appearance could not be seen because of the darkness inside the basement. His dark forest green eyes were the only thing that could recognize him at the moment.
"Gloves" His ruthless and cold voice echoed the basement. The burning gaze was on Veda only. "Here, Boss" The man with glasses beside him handed the gloves as he wished. "Awake her right now" The man ordered again. Causing the man in glasses to rush up instantly.
He splashed the bucket of water.
Just to wake the young woman up from being unconscious. Water commenced to flow into the nose of Veda since he splashed harshly in her face so that she coughed out loud after gasping. Attempting her best to breathe in and out to make sure she was still alive.
Thankfully, she was still breathing commonly. Her vision was still clear and so her hearing sense as well. Veda's mind was a chaos at the moment. She could not process anything because of mess. What was occurring right now? The first query crossed her mind finally.
As consciousness returned into her mind, Veda's eyes widened in surprise. She could feel her hands above. Her feet were not touching the ground also. "Fuck.." A curse escaped between her lips when she noticed she was being tied up right now like a human punching bag.
In hurry, Veda looked up at the two men in front of her. Right, she got tricked by those men and now she got dragged into some filthy basement. The only dim light existed in basement, landed on the young woman only. Making her could not see the man's face at all.
"Let me go" Through gritted teeth, Veda commanded furiously. Glaring into the dark forest eyes of the man since it was the only thing she could witness at the moment. "Why did you kill her?" A ruthless, harsh voice echoed once again. Sending shivers down to the young woman's spine.
"The fuck are you talking about?" Veda pretended to stay clueless. Causing a pair of dark forest colored eyes to blaze with flames. "Why did you kill her?" He repeated. But this time, irritation could be heard clearly in his tone. "I said I have no clue!" Veda retorted.
Hushing down the man for second.
"You chose your fate"
He voiced.
