Trish glanced at Doctor Alex.
“I’ll wait on the carriage,” Doctor Alex handed Odette a bag he had been holding.
“These are the medicines the king needs,” he said, then turned away and left after the queen received the medicines.
“So?” Odette looked back at Trish after Doctor Alex left. She waited for the knight to tell her.
A commotion from inside the house distracted Trish for a moment. “Is he okay?”
“Don’t change the subject,” Odette exclaimed in annoyance. “Lucifer must be banging things out of frustration,” she added briefly.
“You already understand him that well,” commented Trish.
“How do you feel? Do you still think of Anwen as a little sister?” Odette didn’t let Trish get away so easily.
Her eyes were fixed on Trish. “Answer my question. Do you still think of her as a little sister? Yes or no?”
Somehow, Trish felt like he was a thief being interrogated. Now he understood why Rion was afraid of Odette. This girl had a certain aura that intimidated him.
