"Lacey, uhm..." Charles said, he didn't know what to say. It was 9pm, they have already had dinner and they were now in their room. Charles spent a lot of time battling with his thoughts, he didn't know whether he should tell Lacey the whole truth now or if he should wait some more. He knows that not telling her what he is hiding is hurting her, but telling her the truth would actually hurt her even more, so he didn't know which option to choose, but maybe he should choose the option that would hurt her less and that was not telling her, for now. Lacey sat down next to him. "It's okay, you don't have to say anything now. You tell me when the time is right, I can't force you to tell me.... And I am sorry for overreacting earlier today, I shouldn't have done that and it made you say some hurtful words, I am really sorry." Lacey said, she really meant it. She thought about what Ian had told her and she decided to put her self in Charles' situation, and she realized that Ian might have a point, maybe the truth was something she couldn't handle that is why he was unable to tell her now, so she decided to wait for him to tell her and not force him to. "Lacey you shouldn't apologize, I am also at fault here...i am sorry too, Lacey for hiding something from you for all this time, but don't worry I will tell you, just give me some time to think." Charles said, and Lacey instantly nodded her head and they both hugged each other, if there is one thing that they didn't want was to separate from each other.
A week later
" OH, my sweethearts I can't believe that you are leaving so soon" Valentina said as she hugged both Amara and Ian. Today was the day that they left, Ian refused to get married here in columbia, he told Valentina that they would get married but not now. She wanted to try and convince him but she knew how Ian was, a no mean no, not the other way around. "Can you guys at least stay for a little while longer." Valentina said with her puppy dog eyes, hoping that their hearts would melt and they would stay for a few months. "I am really sorry grandma, but we can't stay. There is a lot of things that we need to do, I am really sorry. But we will visit you again. Your birthday is in two months so we will come and we will stay fir a long time, so just don't worry okay." Ian said. "Okay fine. But you have to make sure to call me every day okay? Oh and please I want to see my great-grandchild before death comes for me, so please make sure to start making one okay?" Valentina said. "Don't worry we've already started grandma." Ian said looking at Amara, who didn't even care to react to what he had just said. "oh, Sabrina honey, come give me a big hug for the last time." Valentina said and Amara walked towards her and they both hugged tightly. "Okay, okay that's enough we have to go." Charles said coming downstairs, to where the others were. "OH shoosh, I just want to say goodbye to my grand babies properly." Valentina said. "Aren't you going to hug your son too, mother?" Charles asked. "No, I will not hug you, I will only hug my grand babies you don't deserve my hug." Valentina said jokingly. "Ouch, oh my poor heart, it has been broken by my mother, my lovely mother broke my precious fragile heart, oh I am deeply hurt." Charles said dramatically. "Stop it, come hug mommy." Valentina said extending her arms out for Charles to hug her, and he ran to her and he hugged her tightly. Charles liked how his relationship was with his mother, it was like they were best friends instead of mother and son. "Okay you guys go now, too bad your father had to go to a meeting early today. But don't worry all you have to do is call him as soon as you land." Valentina said. "Okay time to go." Charles said, and they all said their final goodbyes and the exited the house, got into their cars and the drove to the airport.
"Why are you staring at me like that?"Amara asked Ian. They were now seating in Ian's private jet and waiting for it to take off, Lacey and Charles had used their own private jet, they didn't want to 'disturb' the couple since they did not want to be 'disturbed' themselves. Ian had been staring at Amara the whole time, she tried to ignore it but it was so hard to do so, because she could literally feel his eyes on her. "What makes you think that I was staring at you?" Ian asked. "OH I don't know, maybe it's because I could feel your eyes on me." Amara said. "Okay fine I admit it." He said. "Then tell me, whay were you staring at me like I owe you something." Amara asked. "Well yes of course you do owe me something." Ian said. "And what could that possibly be?" Amara asked. "A child, well children." Ian said. "Me? No. I don't owe you any child." Amara said. "Yes of course, if we don't have children, then who is going to take over my compinies? I don't want some stranger to take care of it, so yes, you OWE me children." Ian said. Amara didn't care to answer, how on earth would she want to have a child with a guy that abused and still abuses her emotionally and physically, there is no way she would want that, but she didn't have a choice because she didn't have access to any prevention pills. "so, as soon as we get home we are going to start making babies okay?" Ian said. Still Amara was quiet. Him talking like this reminded her of her unborn child that died because of him, because of his cold and stone heart. But she just told herself that everything happens for a reason, so she shouldn't let the pain hold her down, she had to take revenge on those who ruined her life.
