Then next morning, Amara woke up to the sound of the heavy rain outside, the thunder and lightning. It was a little scary for her, she was a little afraid of thunder and lightning especially the terrifying sound of thunder, it made her feel uncomfortable and scared. She at the right side of the bed and it was empty, it seemed like Ian had already woken up. She saw a small paper on the bed where Ian was sleeping. She took it and she read it. It was from Ian it said that he would be gone for two days, something salient came up. She got up from her bed and she looked at the clock on the walk and it was only 5am. She stood up, she stretched herself, and she went downstairs to the kitchen to get some water.
As she was walking she noticed how quiet the mansion was, it seemed as though every body else was still sleeping. The only sounds she could hear was the sound of herself walking, the loud thunder and the heavy rain outside. She entered the kitchen and she went to the refrigerator and she opened it and she took out a bottle of water and she exited the kitchen. As she was heading upstairs she saw Emma walking down. "OH, it's you." Emma said rolling her eyes. Amara didn't understand what it was that made Emma treat her that way, maybe she was expecting Ian to get married to someone of her choice or someone that was not like her. She chose to ignore her and she continued walking." Are you seriously ignoring me! Didn't your parents teach you any manners." Emma said raising her voice a little. "I don't want to argue with you, so please can you just do me a favour and leave me alone because I didn't do anything to you to make you treat me like this.i seriously don't know why you do not like me and I don't care either." She said. "How dare you talk to me like that!? First of all you are just a woman who doesn't have anything, you only rely on Ian's money. I don't get how you seduced and convinced him to marry you but honey I will not let you keep living off Ian's hard work." Emma said. "Look, if you knew where I come from and why I am who I am today then you would keep your mouth shut." Amara said walking back to Ian's room. She couldn't wait to leave this place, actually she couldn't wait to become Amara again, to be free, to be happy. She wanted her freedom back but that was not at all easy. She just had to be patient and accept her situation now. She sat down on the bed sighing heavily, she could feel the hot tears running down her cheeks, she wiped them, but they just kept coming, she did not want to cry, she did not want to look weak, she did not want to look weak, she did not want to give up at all. She still had to avenge her parents' deaths and make those people that took her everything suffer, she wanted to toture them mercilessly, she had already thought of ways to toture them, one of the ways was frying them while the are alive, she wanted to watch them cry and scream in agony and pain, she wanted them to beg her for mercy, she wanted them to tell her how 'sorry' they were, but she knew that she would never stop even if they apologized a million times, even if the bowed down to her, even if they worshiped her she would never forgive them. She wiped the tears from her face and eyes, she took a deep breath.
It was now noon, the heavy rain had stopped, Amara was sitting in the living room just flipping through the channels, there was nothing good to watch for her. She was getting bored by the second. "Sabrina honey, are you free?" Lacey asked walking into the living. "Yes, why?" Amara asked looking at Lacey as she walked ans sat next to her, Lacey was wearing a blue blouse, white jeans and blue high heels, she didn't apply any make up today. Lacey looked beautiful no matter what, that is just how she was. "Well, do you want to go out with me, I am a little bored and I feel suffocated staying here, my husband and Ian will be gone for two days and I don't know what to do now." Lacey said. "Well, where do you want us to go." Amara asked. "Well, we could go to my favorite restaurant it is not far from here it is called cola's restaurant" Lacey said. "Well since it is your favorite then it must be great." She said and the two women stood up, just as they were about to exit the house the saw Emma walking in, and the both knew that, she was not going to say nice things to them, but lacy was always ready for her, she always knew what to say to her. "And where do you two think you are going." Emma said approaching them. "There is a mosquito that can't seem to shut up, can you hear it Sabrina I am sure you can, come on let's go maybe if we ignore it it won't bother us anymore." Lacey said and the both continued walking ignoring Emma, they could hear her cursing and asking them how they could call her a mosquito.
After a while they both finally arrived at the restaurant it was Located in a lovingly restored 1930's RC Cola bottling plant, Cola's is a "casual" fine dining bar/restaurant specializing in seafood, steaks and other culinary creations influenced by a broad range of ethnic cooking. There is an emphasis on fresh ingredients and locally grown food where possible. Weather permitting, two garage doors open up the restaurant to views of the Statehouse and allow our guests to enjoy the bustle of downtown Columbia. Cola's boast a 40 foot long bar, equipped with a rolling ladder to access our extensive wine selection. They sat down, ordering spice rubbed grilled chicken and Mollydooker Two Left Feet Blend. It was a great experience for Amara, it had been a while since she had gone out to a restaurant with someone that made her feel safe and welcomed this was a great feeling for her, she hoped that it would last forever and that no one and nothing would take this from her.
