Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Briana woke up feeling exhausted(maybe it was because she's been calling Her daughter Amara last night a million times wanting to know how her date went and if the did 'the deed'), she looked at the time and it was already 11am, she's been waiting for her daughter to call her back but she hasn't. She got up from her round comfortable bed and she looked at her self in the mirror and she smiled, she liked how she was and who she was. Briana described herself as a classy , sexy good looking mother. A mother that anyone could ever ask for She's someone who holds her head high and is assertive without being rude! Though she may not always feel confident, that feeling makes a difference in everything, whether it's the clothes she wears or the topic she's speaking about, she was married to Johnathan Smith, a well known man(mostly known by women since they all had a dream of being his with back when they were teenagers some are jealous of Briana because she got to be his wife instead of one of them.) he was rich, he owned a fashion company called VENUS that was left by his father. It was a really successful company, he made billions of dollars every month,he spilt his wife and daughter a lot(maybe a lot more than he should) he gave them everything they could ever want, a mansion, money, expensive clothes, fancy shoes and handbags. He treated his wife like a queen and his daughter like a princess, having one child made their lives easier because it is less stressful for them and that they wouldn't have to worry about diving their attention if they had more that one child.

Briana was a housewife, but she did not need to take care of the house because they had maids and servants, the only thing that she would do is checking of the work is done properly, other than that she would just, gather around with other classy and rich housewives for morning or afternoon tea just to gossip about whatever it is that was happening in town, one of the housewives Ember Kennedy who was married to the famous actor Richard George Kennedy always tried to compete with how Briana lived her life and the clothes she would wear, she would always try to outshine Briana, if Briana wears something fancy today, Ember would wear something fancier but Briana didn't care because if she wants to show off then she would do it her own way instead of competing with someone whom she'd never even reach their level. She dragged herself to the kitchen which had dark brown cabinets with two double doors. These cabinets were filled with dishes, cups and bowls on one side and spices along with a box of assorted celestial seasons tea and two boxes of assorted individual packs of oatmeal on the other. To the right, below the cabinet doors is the sink, there are generally dirty dishes in the sink just begging to be washed(she was busy texting and calling her daughter instead of washing the dishes, some might ask why she doesn't use the dish washing machine even though she has it, well she just loves using her hands) . The sink is surrounded by a forlorn stove to the left and a dish rack to the right. The frequently used white refrigerator is located about 10 inches in front of the dish rack and stands next to the microwave rack, which houses a black microwave and a biscuit colored convectional oven. Right in front of the rack is a six chair, black dining room table with gold trimmings. She walked to the refrigerator she opened it and took out a vegetable salad that she made last night. She was really strict about eating healthy, she'd only eat meat when they have a family barbecue. Her door bell rang she walked out of the kitchen passed the living room that she had decorated herself, it had neutral tones that dominated the walls and floor surfaces. Apart from the Ultra Marin lightweight curtains which covers the full length of the window, from ceiling to floor and a striking feature wall. Different sized mirrors arranged in an abstract manner, Small amounts of negative space between each mirror

It 's sleek and compact design, married with 2 jazzy scatterer cushions inject vibrant bursts of colour into this trendy living room. A variety of high impact tones are featured on a smaller scale on each cushion and humble accessories help to balance these colours throughout the space.

A small fleck of blue near the corner of the rug matches the colour scheme used on the curtains, however this design feels a little unfinished leaving her unsure of its pattern and purpose of the rug in this room. The glass TV stand positioned which is positioned on the same flecked edge of rug. The material of this non intrusive piece of furniture compliments the mirrored wall on the opposite side of the room and blends in nicely to the overall look and feel.

The wooden working desk in the corner by the window suggests that this space is desired to have a multi functional purpose. The intense blue shade which is repeated throughout this colourful space is replicated on a cute stool and although appears to be proportionally balanced she does not feel this chair is quite fit for purpose at a writing desk. A chair that supports the back would be deemed as being more comfortable and appropriate enhancing this room functionality. She opened the front door and it was her daughter that she'd been trying to get ahold for ages. "What the hell is wrong with you, I've been calling and texting you but you were just ignoring me, oh my god I even thought that you were kidnapped or dead(even though all she wanted was to know about her date and if they had done something interesting) ..... Oh you made me so worried." she said in a dramatic tone." Really mom, just let me in it's a little chilly outside. " she said rolling her eyes." OH shoosh..... Alright come in, come in. You better have a good reason for ignoring my call and my texts young lady. " she said making her was to the kitchen with Amara following her." Mom I was on a date, how was I supposed to give him attention if I keep on answering your text messages and phone calls..... You should know better, I mean it's not like you've never been on a date with dad and ignored my text completely." she said. "Don't think of comparing our relationship with yours honey, me and your dad have been together for almost three decades and you've only known Cole for less than 48 hours, so it's only right for me to call and check on my little kitten." she said. "Mom I thought I told you not to call me your little kitten, I'm 25 years old you know I'm not a 'little kitten' anymore."She said a little 'annoyed'" if you were a grown up then you would be married a and be having a child at your age..... When I was your age I was married and 2 months pregnant, my parents were so happy for me. " she said, while chewing her salad." Mom this isn't you or dad it is me, I'm going to settle down when I feel like the time is right okay so don't worry." she said." fine, so hoe did your date go, did you guys.... you know do something interesting." she said wiggling her eyebrows. "Eew mom, we can't just do that on our firs date.... Like you said I've only known him for less than 48 hours, did you do it with dad without knowing him yet." she asked trying to get on her mother's nerves. "OH wait I forgot.... Yours started with a one night stand." Amara said giggling, she knew that her mother was pissed off. "look, if you're trying to get on my nerves then you already did.... If you don't want to tell me then don't tell me, I'll ask Cole then..bye bye." she said exiting the kitchen. Amara forget to tell Cole that he should tell her mother anything. But it was too late now because her mother was on the phone with him. " God this woman. " That's all she could say. She would never hear the end of it from her mom.
