"I'm not going to fire you, Bailey." Chase was tired. His head hurt, and he didn't like feeling as if he was backed into a corner.
This attack on The Happy Homemaker was a malicious, organized attempt to hurt the organization. The reason didn't matter as much as the bottom line. The bottom line meant more than money to Chase. He also considered the anxiety Bailey was experiencing now. He shared her pain whether she believed it or not.
