"When is she going out?" Jerrod mumbled. He tapped his toes as he became more impatient with waiting. He stared at the convenience store without blinking his eyes, thinking he would miss Larissa if he let his eyes off the door even for a second.
Jerrod doubted Larissa would know where his car was, so he wanted to make sure he could run into her right away once she appeared at the door. He doesn't want Larissa to change her mind once she can't find him right away.
"There she is!"
Immediately, Jerrod jumped out of his car and ran toward Larissa. He smiled brightly, as he was proud that he had succeeded in not losing her.
"Why is he peppy?" Larissa thought internally. From her point of view, Jerrod acted as if he was a house dog who had been waiting for its owner to come home, as she could imagine dog ears perking up from Jerrod's head and a furry tail wagging out of excitement.
