Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Descending of Angels On Earth

"All of you! Make a line!" shouted The Father of the kingdom of heaven.

Simultaneously the winged angels lined up neatly. The girls made their own line, as well as the boys.

They didn't line up on the floor they walked on. Rather they soar with the help of their wings as angels should soar in the kingdoms of heaven.

The Father of the heavenly kingdom was carrying a large book facing him. His two fiery blue eyes stared at all his angels.

"Nice lineup! Well, as you all know... that you who are here are those of you who were chosen to carry out your mission to earth according to what I have decreed!" said The Father of the heavenly kingdom was clear.

"My assistant, Gabriel, will call your names one by one and you will get a book containing your work. And you have one day to study it. You can bring that book to earth as a reminder too. But if you learn fast, you can be down to earth today," He added.

"If you have any questions after you understand the contents of the book, please come directly to me or to Gabriel and Ivoria."

All the angels nodded in understanding. Then Gabriel immediately carried out his duties by summoning the angels one by one according to a predetermined list.

"Please study it and you are free to study it anywhere as long as it remains within the realm of the kingdom," said The Father as the angels advanced one by one.

And they immediately opened the gold-colored book in a place that made them feel calm.

"Huh? A boy?" asked Aleya, looking confused. Her brow furrowed, grabbing the attention of Ivoria, one of the female angel guides.

"Is there anything that confuses you, Aleya?" Ivoria asked, approaching her.

Aleya was a bit startled because she was approached by a female angel guide. She tried to smile, but it seemed forced.

"Are we assigned tasks according to the opposite sex?" asked Aleya.

"Right."

That short answer should be clear enough. But Aleya did not know why The Father chose the opposite sex.

"Why?" asked Aleya curiously.

Ivoria looked around her. "I can't tell you, Aleya. You'd better study it. The sooner, the better. And if you finish sooner, you can go home quickly too."

Aleya mumbled. "Sounds like an easy theory, Ivoria. But I'm not sure it's going to be easy in practice either. Usually, something that sounds easy is going to be hard when you get to it. Well, vice versa."

Ivory smiled. She patted Alya's shoulder. "Just do your job, okay?" She then flew away from Aleya to go to the other female angel.

Aleya began to study it again with reverence. She was smart enough to understand and learn everything so fast. Besides, this was her first time doing her job as a new angel as she just died a year ago due to a serious illness.

Swallowing her saliva, Aleya even reminisced about her life as a human on earth. During her life, she always felt the pain of her illness. And during that time she also did a lot of good things until when she died, she has crowned a new angel which in her lifetime, she did many positive things.

Aleya cried. Her tears fell and she quickly wiped them away. She immediately stood up when she finished studying everything.

"Gabriel, when will I come down to earth?" asked Aleya, looking very ready and full of confidence.

Gabriel immediately looked at The Father. They both nodded their heads then Gabriel looked back at Aleya.

"Are you sure you're really ready?" Gabriel asked.

"I am very sure."

"Well, tonight, you, Ivoria, and I will accompany you down to earth. Maybe with some other angels who are ready too. Later, I'll let you know when we're going down, okay?"

Aleya nodded and then turned to fly to her room to pack up her belongings.

***

Only five angels were ready to come down to earth. Others still wanted to study their material first. Meanwhile, Aleya was ready. Just waiting for instructions.

"Listen! You will come down to earth when the humans are resting or sleeping. There are Gabriel and Ivoria who will accompany you for a few days so you can adapt first," said The Father

"I hope you don't do anything that is self-defeating or burdensome to your mentor. And if you don't understand, ask them. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Father!" they answered in unison.

The Father then nodded at Gabriel and Ivoria. But before that, they pray first before actually descending to earth.

"Let's pray!" cried The Father. He began to lead prayers with a voice that resounded and shook the kingdom of heaven. Then when the prayer was finished, The Father said, "My blessing is with you, My children."

Gabriel took the lead to fly while Ivoria was behind to guard them. And the five new angels followed Gabriel down.

Aleya did not know that if she descended to earth, it would take so much time. It was as if she couldn't fly, but fell to the ground.

"Ouch!" she groaned as the sound of her fall could be heard by all of them.

Ivoria immediately helped her. "Are you?" Ivoria asked.

Aleya nodded, but she looked at her wings and saw some of her wings falling. "Is that normal?" asked Aleya.

"It is. But you have to take your wings and keep them, Aleya. If you don't notice your fallen wings, that's fine. But if you do realize, take them and collect them until you return to the kingdom," explained Ivoria.

Aleya followed Ivoria's instructions. She grabbed it and put it in her small bag.

"Follow me and don't let anyone get separated," Gabriel said.

They nodded and followed him in a line. Aleya looked to her right and left. It was dark, she thought. She still did not think that she was on earth.

She rested on The earth.

Aleya also saw that the houses here didn't look too much. It was as if Gabriel had chosen it so as not to arouse suspicion among the earthlings.

"This is our home on earth," Gabriel said as he stopped in front of a magnificent white-painted house.

"Please come in and read the instructions inside," Gabriel said.

Aleya didn't want to ask much. And indeed as far as she knew, there was no question in her mind yet. She entered her earthly home and looked around.

Her green eyes seemed to shine and were mesmerized by the luxury of the earth house. She would stay in the house until her job was done. And she was sure she would finish the task quickly, and that was her hope.
