Bai Liyue woke from a deep sleep to the familiar sounds of the ringing of her phone. Half-conscious, she wriggled her arm free and slapped at her bedside table, searching for her phone, wanting to shut it off.
However, to her dismay, her hands couldn't reach her phone. She was about to open her eyes when the phone went silent on its own. Bai Liyue's eyebrows loosened and she went back to sleep again.
With a small sigh, she cradled a pillow to her chest. The sun was beaming through her blinds causing her to stir. Usually, waking up was a simple task for her; as she was a morning person after all. Yet today, she didn't want to get up from her bed. Last night, she had one of the best sleep she had in months.
