Adeline tried to calm her, she could sense how nervous and anxious Emelie was, despite the barrier between them but it cannot stop her.
" Sis! Hear me carefully. Have you seen that news which was featured on the WT for like two minutes but then taken down? ", Emelie asked if Adeline remembered the news which was shown on WT six months ago.
" Which news are you talking about? And who features the news for like only two minutes? ".
Adeline is bewildered by what her younger sister is saying.
" About the medical experiment on people ", Said Amelie but her sister still didn't recall the incident.
" Sis! It's about a social experiment, the ban practice on humans. You might not remember it since you don't have much interest in this topic. It is shown in the news that due to some people, people were turning into undead ", Said Amelie.
Adeline creased her brows together and then looked at her phone as she started to search for that news.
" Baby Eme, are you sure? I mean, I still don't get what you are trying to convince me ", Said Adeline as everything was confusing to her.
" I am a hundred percent sure. When I went inside, I saw them chewing our head maid. And when I called them, they didn't recognise me but instead...they started approaching me with that bloodshed in their eyes and behaviour. I ran for my life ", She explained everything to her sister.
" Eme, it's not a small issue, are you sure what you saw was real? Or maybe mom and dad were teasing you and you ran away after getting scared...this can be a possibility right? ", Adeline still refused to believe that something like this could happen.
There is a high possibility that Emelie might be pranking and that's why she is not believing her.
Emelie is frustrated as Adeline keeps repeating the same question and not buying her. it is annoying and frustrating at the same time.
Emelie just couldn't stand straight and jumped in panic. " Sis! You have to believe me, I am serious. They are locked in the house, it was too difficult to exit when they were chasing after me. You don't know but I am scared, scared that I will turn into one...I have very little time left. I am going to turn into one soon ", Emelie starts crying as she explains to her.
Adeline became shocked again when Emelie said she is going to turn into one soon. And she was crying, Adeline knew that Emelie never cried but right now...

Emelie sigh! And looked at her arm.
" When I was running out, mom caught me, I tried to get away but she bite me. I was barely able to get away and when I went back, I realised that the wound is healing fast. Not only that but the veins around the wound are getting more and more blue and black. The veins are spreading on my whole body. I have been infected. I only have some hours left ", Emelie explained the whole situation.
" Never say anything like that again, nothing will happen to you ", Adeline is shocked to know this new fact, she doesn't want to believe it. But it's also true that Emelie will never joke around this topic and definitely not when it comes to her family members.
" Sis! I am sure this is big news and no one should know about this. But mom and dad, they have turned into undead, and locked inside by me. But if someone gets into our house, they will know about mom and dad, what should I do? Should I go back and cage them somewhere? And me...I am sure I will become one of them ", Emelie is in panic mode now.
" Shush! Don't talk nonsense. I will take care of this matter. You...stay silent and calm down. Never tell about this undead or zombie thing to anyone. I am taking this lightly because I am your sister but others will not do it, they will take you for a fool or maybe they will take you to the mental hospital. Promise me, never reveal this to anyone ", Adeline is doing it for a reason.
But she was not believing Emelie a moment ago but right now....she is truly different.
Emelie is not in a condition to think straight.
" What... what are you going to do with them? It's dangerous going there alone. Mom and dad zombie....they....killed our head maid, even ate her. You can't go there, what if something happens to you? I only have you now ", She started weeping as the picture of her parents splashed before her.
Adeline is sitting on the sofa right now, looking outside of the huge window, a beautiful high view is before her while the stars are high on the sky.
She is baffled and scared to some extent.
" You don't have to worry about this matter now. And stop crying, this does not suit you. You are my small fighter and have to fight from now on. About mom dad, I will go and check. After some days I will come and get you. For now, go back and rest a lot. Don't think too much into it....and never tell anyone about zombies or biting ".
Adeline specially warned her to never disclose the matter about zombies to someone.

After walking around for some time, she decided to go back. It is Midnight and the whole way to school is quiet and silent, she feels like she is in a horror movie set as she is walking to the school.
The night is young but everything around looked scary and silent that it's making her feel scared of everything.
" Boss! We had a lot of fun today. How much I hope that everyday is the same as this one...but I know that it's useless ".
Leo and Mark had so much fun today and they even got to eat delicious food. And now they were returning to school.
As they were walking back, they saw a similar figure on the road.
" Andrien! Isn't that Emelie? ", Leo said in a surprised tone.
Andrien looked at the front at a fast speed when Leo mentioned her and really....she is ahead of them.
" What is she doing here all alone? I saw Lea and Clair walking out of the restaurant two hours ago. Then why is she...".
Mark was confused because he saw them both walking out hours ago.
" Ah! I remember now. I only saw Clair and Lea going out, Emelie was nowhere in sight. I thought it was strange but dropped that thought ".
Leo spoke in a shocking tone and then looked at him.
" Why didn't you say before? You two go back, leave her to me ", Andrien surely was mad at them both for not telling him.
" Boss! Are you worrying about her? ", Leo and Mark thought to tease her.
But Andrien looked at them both with upset and anger.
" Shut up and leave ".
Andrien never saw her alone without those two girls around her. But right....what led her to be like this and why was she walking back alone?
