First, Zarin had thought it was best to get his Agility upgraded as it needed only one point to get a 5 increment boost. Still, after some thinking, he decided to spend them all on Mind.
As he finished doing so, he took a look at his Status to see the changes at it.

His MP almost doubled itself, as it went from 120 to 210. Before, each point on Mind gave him 10 MP, while now it gave him 16, which was a considerable change.
He had already increased his Endurance over 15, but when he had done that, his increase over HP or SP per point didn't change and was still 5. But instead, there was a change in the regeneration rate of his SP and HP when he rested, becoming much faster.
He also could feel that his limit from reaching Exhaustion had been raised after getting 15 Endurance. But still, he wasn't at the state that he could keep training and not resting at all in a day.
As for his Defense, he wasn't confident about what benefit he got from reaching 15 in it. So he focused on not getting hit after all.
Reading his Status reminded him that his [Mana Regeneration] leveled up too, and he still hadn't checked to see if there were any changes on it.

Zarin was amazed by the change one level made to the Skill. The Mind stat's effects on the Skill changed to 'greatly,' but it also got an extra function. He knew that there were ways for one to strengthen their Mana Pools, which would increase the user's MP and the strength of the skills that used MP. But those were supposed to be hard to find, and he had no actual clues before now.
"You are developing faster this time."
Zarin turned his head slowly to see the person behind him, who had just talked.
"You seem to get free sooner each time," Zarin said to Ais, as he let out a smile after seeing her.
Her last visit wasn't that long ago, but many things happened in that period.
"Well, I was in the neighborhood and decided to check what you were doing. Congrats on your new Skills, by the way. I heard you are planning to move away from here."
Zarin wasn't curious about how she knew about his plan, as he didn't forget about the Scry Gem. He still tried to look for any signs of being spied on, but he hadn't noticed anything yet.
Zarin focused on Ais with his new sense, as he was weird to see how her mana felt. He had noticed that people's mana each had a different feeling.
For example, Oriel's felt like it kept moving around at rapid speed without staying still but within her body's limits. As for Eddie's, it was calmer but somehow felt rougher even if he couldn't actually feel it.
But as he focused on Ais, he noticed nothing like that. He actually didn't feel anything other than the little mana of the surrounding air. It was almost like Ais had no mana, which Zarin was confident couldn't be the case.
Of course, not all people had mana, as he didn't feel any from the guards, but Ais had demonstrated Arcane Abilities in the past.
"You are lucky you can't detect me, or you would get blind. Maybe when you reach your class at Master Rank, I will let you have a look."
The moment she finished her sentence, she winked at Zarin and a very seductive face. IT didn't last long as she followed it with a giggle and returned to her usual look.
Still, Zarin didn't know what to think of that as he had never had a girl act like that at him. After all, the peak of his love life was getting his crush to accept going on a date with him, which he never did as he died on the date day.
"So, is there anything I can help you with? I have a few minutes to spare after all."
Zarin looked at her after hearing her question and gave it some thought. Until now, Ais didn't help him immensely, but she had her time.
"Do you know anything about your last gift? Those dice look quite peculiar to just have them around."
He still has many sides to find their meaning, but he needed clues first to do so.
"All I know is that they were made by the first Dice Master."
Zarin nodded at that, as he thought it made sense, but then he remembered something.
"I thought I was the first Dice Master."
Ais had told him that nobody else that had chosen to be a Dice Master had succeeded in the past. So hearing that this was made by someone in his class made him consider what was really the case.
"You the first Chose One Dice Master, not the first Dice Master. There are people in your class who developed it by themselves. But we don't have many recordings on how their abilities work, as they aren't affiliated with us."
"There are? Does that mean there is another Dice Master here?"
Zarin knew that he would need a tutor at some point, and what better than one with the same class as him.
"Eeemmm… maybe?"
Zarin's spirit reached the bottom once more. Every time Ais had given him some hope, she obliterated it with her following sentence.
"As I said, we don't know much about them other than stories of deeds they had done. But, unfortunately, the last one in this world was almost a decade ago."
"And where was that person? Maybe going there will give me clues even after all that time."
Zarin wouldn't give up that easily. If there was a chance, he had to take it. It was a gamble, but he always put faith in his luck, even if it had betrayed him a few times.
"It was near Holmren. It is a large town currently, but it was barely a town back then. Maybe that person has something to do with its development over the past years. It isn't known how it came to grow that much that fast, other than suddenly many people wanting to invest in its development."
Zarin thought that the place sounded familiar, but he wasn't sure from where.
'Should be one of the places mentioned in the Journal. I better find what information I can from there, even if most would have changed now.'
"Any suggestion about my development? I cad considered focusing on the Arcane Arts path and Agility, but I don't want to leave my Warrior side of my class out. Any ideas?"
After the last battle, Zarin knew that his Mana Skills were much more potent than what he could currently do with any weapons at his disposal. So he actually looked forward to seeing what a Mana Skill a B-Rank could do, as even the weaker one should be at least twice as powerful as the most potent C-Rank one.
As for A-Rank and over, he didn't consider the possibility of earning one any time soon. Even if he lucked out a few times, and gained, two B-Rank Skills, that was the benefit of being an Otherworlder. If he hadn't for his System, he would never have reached his current state that fast.
"Well, even if Agility is more on the style of Rogue-based class, that doesn't mean that Warrior's only focus on Power. A few use techniques focused on the speed of the weapon instead of the force behind it, but those are harder to master or find someone to teach them. Most times, people with said techniques are unwilling to teach even nobles that would give them enough money to last for multiple lives."
Zarin nodded at it, even if he didn't understand what she meant. He didn't find it strange that people would pay that much for something they wanted, but he couldn't understand why those techniques would be that important. Rogues had multitudes of styles based on speed, after all.
So how much different could those techniques be?
