Chapter 1 - Where are we?

"Wake up Liam, wake up", a soothing voice could be heard from above as a shining feminine figure descended from above.

For some weird reason, even though he had no idea who this was, he felt a longing to feel her embrace. Stretching his hand up to reach this figure, Liam soon realized this was a dream as he was shot back to reality. He had suddenly woken up in a fertile grassland. The grass against his skin did not irriate his skin in any way, it only felt soft on his skin. With each breath he took, he could easily tell that the air here was the cleanest he had ever inhaled. The blinding rays of the suns from the clear sky caused him to cover his eyes, relieving it of it's stinging feeling.

"Why are there two suns?", Liam asked himself in a rather calm manner.

Liam studied himself, eventually noticing a black moon like symbol on the back of his palm.

"What is this all about? Where am I?"

The last thing Liam remembered was opening the door to his house and closing it. It didn't make any sense why he was here right now.

'Was I kidnapped in my own house?', Liam thought to himself.

He stood up from the ground at a slow pace, taking his time to observe his environment. The feeling of the grass was good, however he knew he had to understand what was going on.

After a minute of looking around, Liam discovered that he was in a massive grassland that seemed to go on forever. Though when he strained his eyes hard enough, he was able to see something like a town in the distance.

"I guess that is my best bet if I want to understand what happened to me."

Before he could take another step further, he heard a strange sound close by.

"Ugh!", The sound erupted once again but louder this time.

'What, someone else is here?'

With nothing to defend himself, Liam picked up a stone from the ground before carefully approaching the origin of the sound. Upon reaching the source, he realized that it was from a lady who was in the process of waking up. Tossing the stone to the ground, he looked at her carefully.

"It looks just like her...", Liam muttered to himself.

The strange lady's eyes shut open, causing Liam to shudder slightly. He felt like this person could not be trusted just yet. For all he knew, she could be the one that kidnapped him in the first place.

"Bloody hell! Who the hell are you? And what did you do to me you...you pyscho!", The girl moved backwards terrified and red.

Liam had not thought about what could possibly happen if she saw him standing by her side. Though from her reaction, he felt that it was safe to assume she was in the situation as he was.

"Calm down, okay. I didn't do anything to you, I promise", he assured her.

"How am I supposed to just believe you?"

"Why on Earth would I be out here in the open with a stranger? It doesn't just make any sense if I was planning to kidnap or do anything perverted to you. Besides you don't really have a choice at the moment."

"What do you mean?", She lookeded at him as if he was crazy.

"What was the last thing you remembered doing?", Feeling Liam's seriousness in the matter, she answered the question.

"The last thing I remember was passing through the door of a train."

Just as Liam had suspected, she turned out to be transported to this world the same way he had been.

"Okay listen to me for a second. I may sound crazy at first but you will come to realize it is true. We have been transported to another world, and I don't know how. Though I do know this, we have to work together to survive."

The lady laughed hard on hearing this before responding to what he had said.

"Haha, real funny. And you expect me to believe th....?", She came to a stop as she realized there were two suns in the sky. "What!? But how?"

"I have no idea", Liam answered calmly.

"But my family, my friends, I bet they are worried about me. Are they even okay? Why are you so calm about this?", She was feeling extremely nauseous as her breathing began to speed up.

"Calm down and take deep breaths, I bet they are all fine. The reason I am so calm is simply because I had already decided that I was going back home no matter what. Let's find out if that is possible first before reacting."

Upon hearing this, she took in those deep breaths, eventually relaxing herself.

"What's your name?", Liam asked.

"My name is Adira."

"Name's Liam. Now let's find our way back home."

Stretching his hand to assist her, Liam grabbed hold of her hand lifting her up. At that moment he had noticed a symbol similar to the one on his hand, however her's was the opposite side of his own symbol. All of a sudden this brief hold turned into a cause for concern as a blue light erupted from their hands. They tried letting go of each others hand only to fail.

"What's going on!?", Adira shouted still trying to break free.

"I don't know!"

The bright light eventually vanished releasing them from it's hold. Not delaying any time, Liam checked the symbol on his hand only to see that it was now a blue sun. Briefly checking that of Adira as well, he noticed that her's had become just like his.

"Now I am very sure that this isn't our world", Adira placed her hand on her head gently.

At that moment, a status display appeared right in front of Liam astonishing him.

"What!?"
