Alexis silently stared at Kayra. For several days he worked hard to help the victims with her wealth. After he was done sorting he came at the border in hope of meeting her.
Who would have thought that suddenly a wild Sebastian would fall in him from the sky. Out of reflex he even drew his sword, luckily he didn't use it on the other person, if not Sebastian might have died today.
Alexis put Sebastian down on the ground and looked at her awkwardly, "the treasures…"
"Yes?" She raised her eyes.
"Those are not stolen, right?"
"..." Kayra looked at the horizon and thought, 'It hurts!'
At the mention of her savings Kayra's lungs, kidneys and heart, in short her whole body hurts. Only she knew how much work and dedication she invested to earn that much. She had to clench her teeth to give that away.
Yet the man had the audacity to ask her if she had stolen them or not?!
