Kayra was standing on a baby chair when she was preparing Alex's nodlé. The dress she was wearing was also small and made by Tabo.
The man seized up the well-dolled little girl. Tabo did not spare any effort in grooming her, which he got from how well her complexion looked from his perspective.
Kayra crouched down to get a wooden spatula. The man acted faster and picked up the thing before Kayra. As she eyed him questioningly, the man stood up and flung the thing away. He picked another one, clean and shiny and handed it to Kayra.
"That was dirty."
"Oh, I know."
Kayra grabbed the handle and turned her concentration to the pot. While she was adding special seasonings, the man observed her. He had never seen her cooking before, and he was curious.
"What are these?"
Kayra paused and turned to him with a blank look.
"You never ate them before?" She asked in her baby voice.
