[32] Forced Award~
One day later.
Dragon Clan, Capitalia, Azure Planet.
A guard in a futuristic suit and with a huge firearm walked inside of the Dragon Clan. Another person followed him closely. They bypassed many people and castles along the way.
After treading for a long time, a huge castle, their final destination, finally appeared in front of them. It seemed it would take them a whole day to reach the entrance of the Azure castle.
But while they were walking, they experienced a void in the air and they passed by an invisible scanner.
After it identified them, both of them appeared in front of the entrance of the Lord's home, Azure Castle, in the blink of an eye.
The majestic entrance had many incantations in the shape of a huge dragon. Whoever stood before it, would feel that they were being stared at by a gigantic golden dragon.
Olivia Forest trembled when she faced the door. The guard went ahead and announced respectfully, "Lord, someone has come to report to you. It seems to be related to that sla… Cough! Lady!"
After he had finished speaking, the guard was stunned because of the blunder he had caused just now. In the past, he had also gotten Levin D'razure's command to find the woman like others.
It's not like, to find her, they would stop their normal work and try to find her all over the universe because it was foolish. Not to mention, except for a picture, their lord didn't give them any clues either!
That woman wasn't a freaking star or planet that they needed to find, but rather a woman! Among trillions of the population, it was quite hard to find. It was not impossible with their technology but hey; they failed to trace her!
…
Both people stood before the entrance. Both the guard and Olivia Forest didn't dare to lift their heads. When several minutes had passed, a voice came to them.
"Come in."
Simultaneously, the entrance creaked open from the middle and the huge pressure also faded away. The woman knew that from that point, she would be alone and all by herself.
She thanked the guard for accompanying her and then stepped inside. After she had gone further, the door closed by itself. When the guard was going back, he suddenly stopped and slapped himself hard.
"?!" In that fashion, the guard continued until his two cheeks turned red and blueish.
While the man was slapping himself, he glanced around warily. When his hand stopped after 1000 slaps, a thin voice rang beside his ear.
"Inform everyone to mind their words. If it was your Lord in my place, your butt would have suffered!"
For a dragon, that degree of pain from slaps was equivalent to mosquito bites, but it was a great humiliation to get slapped by himself in broad daylight!
Even then, the guard had a face full of gratitude, and bruises and shouted respectfully, "It won't happen again. Thank you, Sir Alberto!"
Alberto Del'virmanos nodded at the guard and then retracted his perception. The guard was lucky that it was him, not his cousin. Or else, severe punishment would have awaited his fate!
When Olivia Forest came to the front garden of the castle, she met the lazy Alberto who was busy sipping dark red drinks.
The man had a particular small drink glass and taking small sips, seemed to not notice her arrival as he was resting on his majestic couch in broad daylight; a common occurrence for the clansmen.
She stopped in her tracks at the castle and walked to him instead. After all, not greeting someone familiar is rude.
"Sir Alberto." Olivia Forest greeted him and added, "I have come to report…"
Alberto seized her up and suddenly smiled. The gummy smile of his, like usual, exposed his sharp, long canines. When Olivia's eyes fell on his eyes, she went into a daze.
"Dear Olivia, come~" Alberto used his hypnotic voice and lured her towards himself.
And as expected, the woman walked closer to him, but in a daze. Her green eyes had lost their focus, and her face was blank. The man's red eyes shone brightly.
After she was close enough, Alberto asked smilingly, "Report about that lady~"
"Lady? Which lady?" The dull Olivia Forest seemed not to understand him clearly.
'Or why you will be here in the first place if not…' Alberto Del'virmanos patiently said after he took a sip of his drink, "The reason you have come here…"
At that time, she had a subtle realization and reported, "A mysterious being appeared on the Wandas Ice Mountains. First, it was suspected of being a meteorite, caused an avalanche and then it seems to be a mecha…"
"Oh? Interesting~" Alberto's smile deepened as he took another sip of the drink. He was reminded of Miss Van and her alluring sweet scent.
How tasty~
At that moment, the light of life began to come back into Olivia Forest's dull eyes. She looked ahead in surprise and remembered why she had come here.
She bowed to Alberto Del'virmanos and said in modesty, "Sir, I have come to meet Lord Levin."
"Ah, is that so?" Alberto had a compassionate look as he sipped his drink. After that, his face changed as he looked at her in pity.
'Is something wrong?' Olivia Forest thought in bewilderment.
Alberto gave her the reason the next moment, "You have come at the wrong time, lady. Levin has gone into close door meditation. He had quite the filth in his body he needed to ward off…"
"Cough! When will he come out?" Olivia Forest asked while trying to control her composure. 'Filth', this word had many meanings after all...
"That… I don't know." The man lazily shook his head with a smile. Then he glanced at her and suggested, "Why don't you tell me? If it's urgent, I may help. Well, if you want."
Olivia Forest saw his harmless smile and recalled that Sir Alberto Del'virmanos was someone she could trust. Then she snapped her fingers and a barrier isolated them inside.
The smile on Alberto's face vanished, and he appeared as if he was getting ready to discuss something serious with her.
Olivia Forest took out a little transparent potion bottle from her pocket dimension and then put it on the low table in front of him. Glancing over, Alberto truthfully became serious.
"A dragon was killed last night. It's suspected that the killer stole his core, and that's why he didn't get the chance to make a comeback…"
She narrated in a solemn voice and added, "If Lord Levin gives his permission, then we can use the latest technology to try to find her."
Alberto didn't reply to her and took the potion bottle. He glanced at it and saw the remains of the dragon, dot-like golden energy lights, trying to be free to merge with nature.
He unhooked the mini potion bottle in interest and a golden dot flew out of it. Alberto closed the lid and then pinched the energy between his two fingers.
He gently rubbed the golden dot and tried to concentrate. When he closed his crimson eyes, his other senses sharpened.
'Sniff~' Alberto Del'virmanos inhaled the squashed energy and in less than one second, his eyes opened up abruptly.
He turned to Olivia and instantly a restrained smile appeared on his serious face, "Lady, you should put this matter off your mind. I will take it over from here."
Olivia's expression froze but then she nodded, "If Sir Alberto can help us, it will be much easier."
"My pleasure~"
Even though he wanted to smile seductively at her to seduce her for some fun, thinking that he had touched a dead person's remains just now, Alberto suppressed himself.
He took a handkerchief from the table and gently wiped his hands. Before Olivia Forest could leave, he spoke out while pouring the dark red drink into a new drink glass, "Lady Olivia, you shall drink this shot with me. Can I have the honor?"
In front of Alberto Del'virmanos, how could anyone say otherwise?!
Olivia Forest nodded and sat down on the seat on his right side. When her eyes fell on the low table, she didn't see the mini potion bottle anymore.
'He must have put it away.' As she thought, he picked a glass and handed it to her.
"Thanks." Olivia Forest had a respectful attitude while taking the glass from him. She looked down at the dark red liquid and smelled it.
Instantly, a desire to vomit came within her. She looked at the man who was refilling his own glass and asked, "Sorry, but can I know the content…"
Before she could finish, Alberto Del'virmanos shook his head and put his forefinger on her lips, hushing her, "It's a secret but I assure you, it will greatly benefit you."
'Well, then…' Olivia Forest gulped down hard as she returned her attention to the drink. The man also retracted his hand.
When Alberto saw her drinking the drink in one go, he clapped his hands in astonishment.
"Lady, you amaze me! Even I can't finish it in one go. You must really like it then!" Alberto said exasperatedly.
"Yeah, it was good…" Olivia Forest said bitterly. She was regretting sitting down when he told her to. There was raw blood in the drink and before drinking, it wasn't that obvious.
But the moment the liquid fell into her mouth, the strong scent of blood assaulted her senses. What could you expect more from a noble vampire?!
Olivia Forest tightly shut her eyes for some moment and stood up to leave. But the moment she opened her eyes, she heard the sound of liquid falling into the glass.
Alberto was refilling her glass and said, "Lady Olivia, you must have really liked it. Here, I have generously awarded you with another shot. Don't be polite~"
'I don't need your award!' She screamed in her mind but outside, she sat down on her seat with a forced smile. With slightly shaky hands, she picked the glass up and downed it in her mouth.
"I am impressed." Alberto Del'virmanos chuckled as he saw her face turning palish.
Beads of sweats appeared on her face as she stood up and nodded, "I shall leave now, Sir Alberto. If you excuse me…"
"Of course. Go ahead!" The man gave her the permission she wanted and concentrated to fuel his lazy persona.
Olivia Forest tried to force down her nuisance and hurriedly walked back to the way she had come earlier. From the back, Alberto tsked as he saw her nearly running away.
"She must have a lot of work, poor woman." He commented to himself.
