Chapter 19 - [19] Alberto's Beastly Form.

[19] Alberto's Beastly Form.

As soon as the auction started, several people from other rooms started to vie for the horn. Old Swine called out loudly as he concentrated on the numbers shown in front of his eyes.

"Room 43, 500,000!...

Room 10, 1 million!...

Room 18, 100 million! Does anyone else want to pay 101 million for this rare fire rhino's horn?!..."

"200 million…" Both Alberto and Levin froze when they heard it coming from behind. Both of them turned to Theo Glacior who had just given a price for the horn of the fire rhino.

The price instantly showed up in the hologram and Old Swine shouted excitedly, "Room 1, 200 million Az! Anyone wants to bid 201 million for this precious horn?"

Silence…

"201.1 million, 201.2 million, 201.3 million… Congratulations Room 1! This horn is yours!" As soon as Old Swine shouted, Theo Glacior sighed in relief. But when he lifted his face, he met two pairs of eyes staring at him.

He stayed calm and replied, "Clan leader could not attend because of his illness. He requested me to bid something beneficial for miss Scarlet..."

At that, Levin didn't comment and looked ahead but Alberto smirked and said while looking at Levin, "Phoenix clan indeed adores Miss Scarlet. Brother, don't you think you should bid something for sister-in-law?"

Levin narrowed his eyes and glared at Alberto. He flicked his finger at the man and Alberto's whole body transformed into a tiny bat.

The bat had golden scales on his back and wings. A small red bow was in front of his neck. Levin grabbed him by the head and shook it from side to side, like ringing a bell.

"Squeak! Click! Screeee!" Alberto struggled ferociously and tried to be freed but Levin shook him more and thus Alberto's head became dizzy in no time.

"Believe it or not. If you don't shut your mouth, I will sell you directly in this auction!" Levin sneered as he stared at the crimson eyes of Alberto.

The latter immediately stopped struggling and became motionless, dangled between Levin's fingers like a dead-salted fish.

Levin scoffed and threw the bat backwards. Alberto made a U-turn and went above Levin's head. Then, it dropped from the air and sat leisurely on Levin's black hair while folding his legs like a beauty~

Theo Glacior knew where the situation was going when his master turned Sir Alberto into his beastly form. Looking at the lazy bat who laid flatly on his cousin's head, he hardened his jaws. The bat barred it's teeth at Theo and grinned.

Then, the rhino's horn vanished from the stage alongside the pillar and appeared in the room. Theo Glacior walked in front of the pillar and took out his credit card. After he swiped the card in the card machine, a ding sound came out which indicated that the transaction was successful.

[Mr. Theo Glacior, congratulations on getting this treasure. May you grace us with your presence in the future auctions too~]

The machine vanished while leaving these lines.

Theo was nonchalant as he glanced at the gigantic horn which was bigger than his body and was radiating heat that was not enjoyable for an ice phoenix like him.

In one single motion, he put it away in his pocket dimension and the pillar also vanished from the room.

Alberto and Levin saw as people bid for other items and got them. Alberto stared at the wall with his large crimson eyes and tried to sense the presence of blood crystal.

"Albe, if we don't find it, I will just hunt an animal of pure bloodline for you…"

"Wuak!" Alberto acted as if he would vomit on him in the next moment. Levin took in a deep breath as he felt the urge to slap the bat on the wall to turn him into bat paste!

Levin murmured with a smirk with suppressed anger, "Theo, there is a coffin in this auction. Bid it for Albe. He can rest in it until he can control the violent spiritual energy."

"Yes, my lord." Theo Glacior replied respectfully.

Hearing him, Alberto stiffened. It reminded him of the painful memories of the past. Once, his spiritual power went out of control and his mother put him in a coffin so that he could consolidate the energy.

Somehow, a cockroach went inside and… Sigh!

Alberto's tiny body shuddered when he realized the grave danger he was in. He straightened his tiny body and squealed, "Screeeeech! Cree! Cree guiii!"

'Nooooooooo! I won't! I won't go!'

Levin knew the meaning of his squeaking and sneered. He touched the glass wall and tapped on it. A round hole appeared on the wall and he pushed Alberto's head inside.

Levin turned to look at the objects ahead and said, "Try to sense, it should be easy now."

However, the bat dug his thumbs into the glass wall so that he wouldn't fall and stopped flapping his wings. He sniffed hard and thought as his power again threatened to go astray.

'Sweet blood of Miss Van…' The fangs came out and the crimson eyes began to glow. The surrounding spiritual energy fluctuated violently.

His eyes locked on the covered object which was lined up in the last and a mischievous smirk broke out.

The people in other rooms also felt the fluctuation of spiritual energy and wondered whose spiritual power went unstable at such an important event.

Levin frowned as he felt it too. He grabbed Alberto's tiny butt and dragged his head out of the hole.

Then Alberto turned into his human form and Levin asked sharply, "You lost control your power just now... Did you find it?"

However, Alberto smiled gently while adjusting his bowtie. Then he put his hands inside his pants' pockets and replied, "Brother, I found a more interesting thing than that…"
