The cries of the newborn babies echoed throughout the room as the pale-looking woman held her child to her chest and was smiling weakly but brightly.
The woman saw another child curiously peeking through the door and asked the little girl to enter and come close to her.
"Ana, meet your new siblings," the woman said as she showed the wrinkled faces of the two children.
"There are two?" Adriana's eyes sparkled as she got on the chair to get a better look of the wrinkled faces.
"Yes, they are twins," the woman chuckled hearing the response and cute expression from Adriana. "This little girl is Rain and the little boy is Raven."
"Rain…Raven," repeated little Adriana while curiously reaching her hand out to poke on their cheeks and Raven grabbed her small finger.
"Oh? It seems like Raven has taken a liking to you," said Elphina and asked the maid beside her to help her carry the child.
