At the middle road of the bustling road of the Xina city. A middle-aged man and a young man in a blue robe walked casually while the young man generated a couple of glances from young ladies. Yet, no one came toward them.
After walking for a couple of minute, the duo arrived in front of a magnificent ancient building with a couple of guards in heavy dark armor. The least among the guards was rank 7 novice mage, while the highest was rank 5 beginner mage.
Their intimidating aura made the surrounding building devoid of people. Yet, the young man and the middle-aged man walked casually toward the intimidating guards.
"Stop!" An intimidating man shouted. He was in his late twenties. He matched a couple of steps forward and stop a couple feet from the due.
"Why do you come here? Do you have the recommendation?" The man asked.
"Yes. My young master love reading and we've already got a recommendation." Kako fished out the letter and gave it to the young man.
The young man received the letter and read it quickly. He looked at the young man, the elderly for a moment with an obvious confusion in deep in his eyes.
"Any problem?" Kako asked. He was getting impatient by this young man's indecisive attitude. He had already presented the recommendation letter, so what else?
"Sorry. Just a little surprised you got a recommendation letter from the Rain Flower Pavilion." The young guard said casually.
Hmm!
Al Casendra raised his brow and looked at the guards. Kako caught the curious gaze of Al Casendra and got the signal and quickly asked the guards.
"Why do you say that?"
"Nothing much. It is just that the Rain Flower never let people come near her not to talk of getting a personal recommendation from her. She is just too proud."
Ah!
Kako nodded with a knowing looked. He glanced at Al Casendra, saw his uncaring attitude and understand he had lost interest on the topic. The guards were one of those fantasizing about her beauty, but didn't have the chance.
"Can we enter?" Kako asked again.
"Sure. One guard will lead you inside. Know this, you need only to spend four hours. Also, no book is allowed to be taken outside." He warned.
"Alright."
Kako and Al Casendra entered the magnificent library with more guards on the way. Al Casendra saw the heavy security but didn't understand why there are many securities guarding some piles of books.
On entering the first floor, rows of shelves assaulted their sight. The shelves were over three meters tall. Kako didn't bother to enter the library. He stood outside and relaxed on the sturdy pillar with his eyes half closed.
Al Casendra didn't dillydally. He walked with a large step toward the section of rune inscription and array formation. He need to look for a couple of a minute before he could find them. Surely, this was a huge library compared to the small city.
Al Casendra took the small ladder by the side and use it to search for the relative books. In a couple of minute, he had stuck the nearby reading table full with books. If anyone saw this, they would be flabbergasted. How the hell is he going to complete reading those books in four hours?
Not to talk for hours. It is not possible for a normal person to finish reading it in a week. This is just insane. Yet, Al Casendra wasn't done. He moves to another shelf with a ladder in hand.
Quickly, a bunch of heavy books appeared in his hand.
Bang!
He slammed it on the huge pile of book on the table, and the table trembled slightly. Only a tiny portion of the table was devoid of books. If anyone were to read these books. It would give them a headache. Yet, a rare smile appears on Al Casendra's face.
Al Casendra sat with his back straight and read. Shortly, he took out a book and wrote some words on it now and then.
Unknown to him, a young girl had noticed the abnormal behavior of him, but he was too concentrated to notice anyone. Besides, if he knew. He won't have care.
"Is this guy for real?" The girl muttered in disdain. Yet, she didn't leave her area. She only noticed Al Casendra when he make a slight noise in still library.
Minute passed by and Al Casendra picked one book one after the other and record some vital information on his book. Some time he would shake his head while other times he would nod with the corner of his lips raised slightly.
Although the girl didn't come to disturb Al Casendra. The rate flabbergasted her by which Al Casendra pick book and drop them. 'What the hell is he doing? He barely spends ten minutes on each book.'
'If I break all those complicated theories in modern physics. It should be simple. Why did this world like make everything so much complicated for themselves?' He complained in his heart and shook his head and dropped the book in his hand.
There were only a couple of books remaining on the table left to be read. Though the library didn't have an advance topic on the rune and array formation. But now understand the history of rune inscription and array formation and its usage.
It is like science. It was endless. It could only be limited to your imagination and creativity. And that he didn't lack. Many ideas were already flooding his head. But he needed to get back to his lab to get his hand dirty.
'Wow, I love science. Now, let see how I would fail in this world.'
'Anyone who dares stand in my path to greatness in this life would live not to tell the tale.' A sharped glint appeared deep in his eyes. And the temperature around dropped a couple of degrees.
After a couple of seconds, he recovered and finished the last couple of books. He stood up and stretched his body with a smile on his face. His gain this time around wasn't small.
He looked at the book and wanted to return it. But later dismiss the thought. He left the library and matched out of the library with a rare smile on his face.
When Kako saw Al Casendra. He straightened his back and stood at attention. Yet, when he noticed the rare smile on Al Casendra's face. He shivered. 'Not this smile again.'
And behold, Al Casendra threw a scroll to him. He caught the scroll and took a glance at the content.
'I knew it!' He shouted in his mind.
