Chapter 66 - It's about Time

"Is there any strange movement from them?" Berti asked impatiently.

"None. But the young man in blue and the middle-aged man went to the Rain Flower Pavilion and later went to the city library." A masked man responded.

Hmm!

Berti creased his brow and thought for a moment. 'What did that bitch want with these people? Did she want to fish in stormy water? Hmm?' A sharp glint appeared deep in his eyes.

"Keep on watching them. If you noticed any abrupt development. Notify my immediately." Berti commanded, and left the balcony. He needed to report the new development to the family's head.

In another part of the city. Inside a magnificent villa. An elderly man read scroll and arch his brow.

"Are they walking with the Rain Flower Pavilion?" He muttered.

"If they are working with the Rain Flower Pavilion. It won't be easy to deal with them. That goddamn woman won't take lying if anything happen that girl." He creased his brow and robbed his temple.

'However, if they think they can step on my feet without me doing anything. They're naïve. It time to uproot some thorn from the city.'

He twisted his lips and avert his gaze and stared outside the window. The sun was preparing to set while dark cloud were gathering over Xina city. With the look of things. There is probably going to rain.

'What if I made an alliance with Razor's family and uproot Rain Flower from the city? Hmm?' He thought with an evil smile.

'But let watch them for today. If they don't make any bold move. Them tomorrow would be their doom.' He slightly snort escape from his tight lips.

Meanwhile, Al Casendra sat casually by the window on the third floor of the Bloom Hotel and looked at the cloudy sky.

Various light appeared on the street while people returned to their abode. Yet, while those for the night crowded the street.

Kako knocked on the door twice and entered with a scroll in hand. He directly gave the scroll to Al Casendra. Al Casendra drop the jar of alcohol in his hand and unfolded the scroll.

a casual glance, he skimmed through the content and another rare smile appeared on his face.

'I know they couldn't wait to get ride of us. But they are still wary of the unknown. Probably, the two old foxes are waiting for each other. And probably made an alliance to deal with us.'

The evil smile on his face deepened, showing his rows of white teeth. Kako on the side took a deep breath and rub his sweaty palm. 'Tonight won't be peaceful.'

'Oh! They fail.' Al Casendra shook his head and giggled.

Seeing the strange behavior of Al Casendra gave Kako goosebumps. He wanted to leave the room, but he dare not. He knew whatever this young man was think was far from simple.

'Have I sold my soul to the devil?' He thought in panic.

Al Casendra didn't care about Kako. He picked his ink brush and wrote some few words on the parchment and gave it Kako. Receiving the parchment with a slightly trembling hand. He read.

[Complete Annihilation. But first we need to get into their treasury. So we need Berti or their family head. We leave on the young one below 5 years old. Let the world know of us.]

Kako's back was drenched in a cold sweat. This was killing an entire family. Not just only one person. And entire family. How many people are in the Razor Family? Couple of hundreds!

Kako opens his mouth, but the word stuck in his throat. He shivered and swallow the lumps in his throat. He abandoned his previous thought and asked.

"What about Sienna?"

[She follows us tonight.]

Crack!

A loud thunder strike in the night sky, followed by an intimidating lightening. The earth shook vehemently, frightening thunder.

Yet, the thunder was far from stopping. A couple of seconds later, another deafening thunder reverberated through the sky with a yellow streak of lightning.

The sky pave open up and heavy down pour descended on Xina City. Quickly, everywhere was chaos as people quickly rushed to take shelter.

The sky continued to echo under the deafening thunder and streak of lightning. While a strong tide of wind accompanies the down pour.

A young man in a blue robe stood by the window and watch the heavy downpour with a light smile on his face. He continues to sip his alcohol, looking in a particular direction.

'It's about time.'

Behind him were six people dressed in complete black robe. While among the six was a person with a conflicted expression. She was Sienna. 'What the hell was going on?' She thought.

Her gazed fixed on Al Casendra and wanted to ask what the hell was going on but he knew the young man won't reply her. So, she kept her mouth shut and watch.

Al Casendra reach out his hand and let the rain fall on his palm. He used the little water to rub his long, dazzling hair and touch the cold steel under his robe. And behold.

He jumped out of the window.
