Rory called Mrs. Delport to check on her grandmother. Her grandmother's health was slowly deteriorating. There was nothing anyone could do.
Rory asked Mrs. Delport why nothing is done about the recent mishaps in the trial. She tried to call Gordon Faraday, but he didn't answer. She didn't want to call him again.
Mrs. Delport sighed. She then told her that it is to be expected in a trial that it might go either way. The law has to do what it has to do and each and everyone involved must be careful not to cause any distress to the system.
It was weird because Rory didn't expect some diplomatic mumble from Mrs. Delport. And it made her doubt whether her calls are getting tapped.
That won't be good.
She told Liam about it, and Liam had people sweep the house and phones for bugs. But they didn't find anything, thankfully. That made her wonder if her grandmother is the one getting watched.
