***ALEX'S POV***
I had listened to what it was that Doc had to tell me. I didn't like it, but I understood what it was that he was trying to tell me. I was a prisoner, and no matter how nice he and most of the others were trying to be to me, they would have to do their jobs if I were to actively work against them. I understood that, and I wouldn't hold it against them if they did try to stop me or hurt me for what I did. That didn't mean that I wasn't going to try and get away though. I wasn't the type to stay a prisoner just because someone told me to. I was going to get out of here. I was going to get back to Jake. And I was going to finish this story and move onto the next one. That was just how it was going to be.
