***ALEX'S POV***
The closer that I got to my destination, the more that I saw. And by that, I mean that my eyes were truly adjusting to the darkness, just like I wanted them to. That was a relief unlike anything that I had ever felt before. I would hate to be stuck here in this place completely blind.
"What the hell is that?" I asked no one in particular as I saw that there was a door standing there in front of me. Well, I guess I could have been asking myself, but that made no sense because I didn't know what the door was there for.
When I got a little closer to the door, I saw that there was a word written on it. The word was glowing a little and that was why I was able to see it from so far away. 'MEMORIES'. That was the word that was written on the door.
