"Take your time. I'll leave you alone", Ling Feng saw as Iron Fist climbed into his horse.
"You're leaving? What about your horse",
"It's yours now",
"Why?",
"I owe it to your father. He would've loved to see his son all grown up. Come to me if you ever need anything",
"Thank you... for everything",
Ling Feng didn't look back. He heard as the horse started. The sound of its feet trail off.
Ling Feng stood there in silence. All that went through his head was the hardships his father must've went through. Buried like an animal. What a tragic death.
Anger burned in his heart. This was his origin. Buried and gone like it never existed. Still his brain couldn't rake up an image for the man his blood currently burned for.
He was an honorable man. That's all he knew.
