Nature called on her strongly causing her sleep to dissipate. She couldn't believe what her eyes saw as soon as she opened them.
Was she dreaming.
But he felt so real. Feeling his firm chest against her arm she praised the lucidity of this dream. His chest was visibly still but she felt his steady heartbeat vibrate against her own body that lay next to him.
Moving closer, his sudden movement brought her to a freeze. Was he waking up. After staring for a while she was reassured that wasn't the case.
For what ever it was worth, this was the best dream she ever had. A smile clowned her face as she pulled her ear over to lay on top of his chest.
Something about listening to his heartbeat was just very comforting.
She stayed like this for a while.
Wouldn't it be nice to sleep this way all the time. All but the discomfort she had with the wooden floor beneath them.
