Following a period of mourning that lasted for days, the ratfolks faced the tough choice of leaving their former home behind, preserving it as it was, while they searched for a new location close to our base.
Demonstrating remarkable speed and expertise, they swiftly started building small houses and farm fields. Their proficiency in construction was truly captivating, and within just a few days, they successfully established homes and all essential amenities for their entire community without requiring any help from us.
Amidst the ratfolks' well-being being attended to, I remained uncertain about how to handle the human survivors from the breeding grounds. Some of them were already pregnant with goblin children, while others were displaying signs of being in the early stages of gestation.
