"I came to register as a participant" I claimed after following a long queue.
"So, what level are you?" The attendant at the counter asked.
"I'm not a player."
"Not a player? Hold on kid, are you sure you want to enter the arena? You know we aren't responsible for any damage it gives you." As I looked at him, I could see the expression of disbelief and doubt etched on his face. He seemed skeptical about my capabilities as if questioning whether I was truly capable of handling the task at hand.
"I know the consequences."
"Have it your way then, Kid. Don't say I didn't warn you," he replied, then shoved a form into my palms. "You're in block D. Good luck, Kid. You'll need it."
The crowd was thick, filling the stadium with loud cheers as the participants of the tournament roared their battlecry. However, amidst the active warriors, I remained in silent, conserving my energy for the upcoming battle.
