"I really should try making some new stuff up," Guidance whispered to herself, wracking her brain for ideas as she sat in front of an empty word document. "Why did I have to make such a convoluted world..."
Along the process of game development, it was only too late that Guidance realized that she had to have a serviceable lore guide before doing everything else. Having written the game's story through the seat of her pants, the poor dev now had to contend with plot holes that she either never accounted for, or completely forgot existed.
"Ugh..."

Manifests...
Manifests are the physical representation of the human psyche that is achieved through a phenomenon called "Delusional Fortification." Each Manifest's abilities can vary wildly from person to person due to them being the physical manifestation of their ideals and philosophies. Manifests are also directly tied to the user's mental health and will change or degrade accordingly. Likewise, any damage seen on the Manifest may very well be damage to the user's psyche, and total destruction would cause its wielder to lose all mental functions, though to what extent is not yet known. While it is very important to be careful when wielding a Manifest, keep in mind that it is also very hard to damage it through normal means hence it can be used to block or absorb a considerable amount of kinetic force. The strength of a person's Manifest depends mostly on the rules that apply to each individual Manifest, this is due to the differences in personalities that produce different Manifests. But a good portion of its strength comes from the Somatic itself. The user's mental state can also affect the Manifest's performance as well as its strength.
